TDSB human rights report says anti-Black racism involved in ‘overwhelming’ majority of hate incidents

The Toronto District School Board has seen a stark increase in human rights complaints in recent years linked to racism — specifically anti-Black racism — with the bulk of complaints launched by teachers, according to an alarming new report.

And the inordinate number of human rights incidents reported by Black administrators is so concerning that the board has launched a separate review, says the TDSB’s Human Rights Annual Report 2018-2020.

“We see a very distinct pattern of a disproportionate number of complaints being based on race, specifically anti-Black racism,” said Jim Spyropoulos, executive superintendent of equity, engagement and well-being at the board.

Black teachers launching complaints? No question then, the TDSB is something straight out of Birth of a Nation!

I always suspected the TDSB’s incessant humble brag about diversity was just a sham.

“Diversity” is a weaponized grift. Used by race hustlers to shake down and demonize the opposition and consolidate power.

Canada is ‘playing chicken’ with COVID-19 by reopening while variants are spreading widely

Much of Canada is lifting lockdown measures and reopening risky indoor settings while experts warn fast-spreading coronavirus variants threaten to jeopardize recent progress and trigger a brutal third wave.

On the same day Manitoba announced its first case of the variant initially detected in the United Kingdom, the province also said it would reopen restaurants, gyms, places of worship, museums, art galleries, tattoo parlours, nail salons and libraries.

Sainted Irish Mother is now experiencing her 3rd Covid Lockdown while in hospital. Thursday there were 2 cases on her floor, Friday 5. Today? We’re waiting on the test results for Mom and the rest. Visits are once again verboten until Feb 26 at the earliest. The isolation is killing her.

Whistleblower: ‘Trans-identifying kids are cash cows’ for Planned Parenthood

A month ago, I was sent a Tweetstorm written by a woman who had worked as a “reproductive health assistant” at Planned Parenthood for about 18 months prior to March 2020. If you assumed that the employee had abortion on her mind, then your knowledge of Planned Parenthood is outdated. Planned Parenthood is now one of the largest providers in the United States of cross-sex hormones like testosterone to females seeking medical gender transition.

Senate spends $150,000 on desks for staff working at home

A senate committee has decided to allocate $150,000 of taxpayers dollars so that senate employees can buy desks for their homes.

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, the Senate committee on internal economy voted 9 to 6 to approve the funding. It remains unclear how many employees will receive funding or how much each desk will cost.

They’ll turn in the desks when the pandemic is over, right? Oh wait, it will never be over.

Biden Is President…So Now Cuomo Aides Confess They Cooked the Books on NY’s COVID Deaths

We know that New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued an order that caused the deaths of thousands of senior citizens in the Empire State. It’s not hard. You don’t need to be a medical expert. Forcing nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients was a death sentence. These are facilities where the most vulnerable and infirmed reside. Of course, if you flood these buildings with people infected with a contagious disease, bad things will happen. Deaths will happen. Cuomo is a grim reaper.

They decided letting people die was better than letting Trump get credit for supplying the hospital ship and building a hospital in Central Park.

Canada is sleepwalking into a third wave, and it could be the worst one yet

Canada sits at a pandemic crossroads. Second waves are receding thanks to successful lockdowns and restrictions. Reopening of schools and economies without meaningful improvements in surveillance or containment is set to intersect with emerging variants of concern and vaccine shortages, creating a perfect storm for a massive third wave.

Trudeau continues to over-promise and under-deliver

Now, Justin Trudeau is no lawyer, as everyone knows. His mauling of the Rule of Law during the SNC-Lavalin scandal – his obstruction of justice therein – made that pretty crystal-clear. But he sure has a lawyer’s enthusiasm for process, doesn’t he?

Actual results? Nope. Not his thing. Trudeau prefers to over-promise and under-deliver. Always. It’s stamped on his DNA.

FUREY: A closer look at Facebook’s new COVID-19 misinformation rules

Facebook recently announced new COVID-19 misinformation community standards – a list of criteria for posts that the tech giant will remove.

Some of the posts Facebook is targeting include those claiming COVID-19 is no more dangerous than the flu and posts claiming that deaths are much lower than official figures.

Biden Donor Revolt: It’s “Bulls***” That No One’s Given Us Our Ambassadorships Yet

Fair is fair — they bought the candidate and the office. Now they want the spoils delivered, and have grown tired of waiting for them. The Daily Beast reports that Joe Biden’s big donors believe they have gotten frozen out of the traditional envoy rewards that come with high-dollar investments in presidential campaigns, calling the silence so far “bullshit”.

CDC: Wear Masks ‘Anytime You Are Indoors or Outdoors with People You Don’t Live With’

The article titled “Types of Masks” examines the “many” types of masks Americans can wear, highlighting cloth masks, disposable masks, and KN95 masks, specifically.

Under the section on cloth masks, the CDC recommends that people select a covering that has “multiple layers of tightly woven” fabric and a nose wire, giving similar recommendations for disposable masks. Under both, the CDC recommends that people wear the masks “anytime you are indoors or outdoors with people you don’t live with”.

Biden’s ‘100 Days’ Of Masks Transforms Into Masks ‘Through The Next Year’

In an appearance at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Biden told staff “You know that wearing this mask through the next year here can save lives, a significant number of lives.”

Mumbling through his own mask, Biden also blamed President Trump for the vaccine roll out being delayed.
