WASHINGTON — President Trump announced Monday that the US military had carried out a second strike against purported drug traffickers from Venezuela in international waters.

Three “male terrorists” were killed, Trump announced on Truth Social.

Adam Zivo: Charlie Kirk was far more moderate than the left would have you believe

Progressive commentators have spent the past week misrepresenting the views of conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, in an apparent attempt to demonize him and justify his murder. This behaviour is deplorable and provides a case study of the toxicity that leads to political violence.

Kirk was famous for his embrace of debate and cross-partisan dialogue. He regularly visited college campuses and invited progressive students to rebut his beliefs, often exposing their intellectual vacuity. Videos from these engagements, along with other content produced through Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, proved highly effective at attracting youth to conservative politics.

Charlie was way worse than this even tempered dude!

Charlie Kirk suspect’s note revealed by FBI director

Charlie Kirk’s alleged assassin wrote a note saying he planned to “take him out”, Kash Patel, the FBI director, has said.

In an interview with Fox News, Mr Patel said the note, allegedly written by Tyler Robinson, read: “I have the opportunity to take out Charlie Kirk and I’m going to take it.”

The FBI director, a Trump appointee who has faced mounting criticism over his handling of the case, said the note was found at Mr Robinson’s home that he shared with his partner, and had been written before the shooting.

Canada’s new immigration bill seeks power to cancel or suspend applications and documents. Experts say these are the groups likely to be targeted

Ottawa’s Strong Borders Act has been sold as a bill to strengthen the border and keep Canadians safe, but experts say a hidden — and crucial — objective is to slash ballooning immigration backlogs and processing times.

In tabling Bill C-2 in June, Public Safety Minister Gary Anandasangaree scratched the surface of why immigration officials needed the powers to “cancel, suspend or vary” immigration documents and processing of new applications “en masse for reasons determined to be in the public interest.”

Great idea but I’ll believe it when I see results.

“Western Capitals Smeared Us”: Orbán Marks Border Fence Anniversary

A decade after being vilified for sealing its southern border during the migration crisis, Hungary marked the tenth anniversary of the erection of its border fence with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán declaring that the country had “stood firm” where others had faltered.

In a statement issued on Monday, September 15th, Orbán recalled that “Brussels slammed the table and threatened us; Western capitals smeared us,” but argued that Hungary’s resolve had prevented illegal migration and preserved public safety. “Only those we allow may step on Hungarian soil,” he said.

Taxpayers Federation says attrition not enough, demands real cuts to bureaucracy

The Canadian Taxpayers Federation is warning Prime Minister Mark Carney that relying on attrition to reduce the federal workforce is not enough and is demanding immediate cuts to the size of the bureaucracy.

“After adding about 100,000 bureaucrats in a decade, attrition doesn’t go nearly far enough,” said Franco Terrazzano, the CTF’s federal director.

Carney lied?!!?? I never would have bet on it!

CHARLEBOIS: Ditch the inch, ditch the patriotism gimmicks

The so-called buy Canadian movement gained momentum when Donald Trump suggested, half in jest but with a tone of menace, that Canada could one day become America’s “51st state.”

The remark struck a nerve. Canadians reacted with indignation and pride, choosing to affirm their sovereignty not only through political rhetoric but also through their wallets. Many began rejecting U.S. products and looking more deliberately at what it meant to support Canadian ones.

We Can Give No Clemency To The Assassination Left

Last week, conservatives were bludgeoned, once again, by the reality that they live in a country full of people who want them dead.

Charlie Kirk — a man known for his love of country, open and respectful debate, and Christian faith — was allegedly assassinated by a left-wing maniac. Many on the left tried to justify it, and some even cheered.

While the wound is still fresh, and we are finding out who people really are in the wake of such a horrific, and horrifically public, assassination, now is the time for action — serious action.

France: The Populist Hour Strikes

Having just ended its ninth month in office, French Prime Minister François Bayrou stepped down after the National Assembly endorsed a no-confidence vote by a huge majority. That handed President Emmanuel Macron a hot potato in the shape of naming yet another Prime Minister, Sébastien Lecornu, the outgoing Defense Minister of the Armies, the fifth in just two years, with no certainty that he would be the lucky fifth.

Macron is in a hurry because he wants to fly to New York to settle the Ukraine war, ensure recognition of a Palestinian state, solve the Iranian nuclear problem, and offer a master plan for rebuilding Lebanon and Syria.

Carney’s Ethics Test: How Brookfield’s Teekay Purchase Brushed Close to a Sanctioned Sino-Russian Venture

OTTAWA — In 2017, Brookfield, the investment giant that would later launch Prime Minister Mark Carney’s global business and political reach, bought control of Teekay Offshore Partners — a shipping deal that now casts a long geopolitical shadow.

On the surface, it looked like just another Brookfield deal. But behind it lies a complicated backstory, one that deepens concerns about the global-security risks lurking beneath Carney’s sprawling portfolio of more than 550 corporate holdings.

Yes, the Left Wants Us All Dead

We are not embroiled in a struggle between Republicans and Democrats, or liberals and conservatives, or leftists versus patriots. We are in a struggle of good versus evil. That is the primary lesson of the aftermath of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Leftists’ gleeful celebrations of his death, and refusal to set aside partisan politics even long enough to observe a moment of silence for a man who was murdered in the prime of his life, orphaning two small children, shows definitively: this isn’t about political disagreement anymore. If leftists get a chance, they will kill us all in the same way they killed Charlie Kirk.

Meet Dr Hopper – the surgeon with an amputation fetish

The case of Neil Hopper, who last week was convicted of insurance fraud and possession of extreme pornography, is so surreal that it’s tempting to dismiss it as the kind of eccentric story that delights readers of the Fortean Times. That would be a mistake, for the case of Dr Hopper offers us an important insight into some of the more questionable claims of the trans lobby.
