Whither the U.K.? And its Anglophone offspring?

An Australian woman has been found guilty of vilifying male athletes competing in women’s sports … and now faces fines and penalties of up to $200,000 (Australian)!

According to a local court of New South Wales, Kirralie Smith “unlawfully vilified” two males playing soccer on women’s teams by stating that they have unfair physical advantages over the women and noting that opposing female players had suffered severe injuries due to this fact. Two-hundred-grand for stating an obvious truth.

Bad on ya, mate!

What is lost when fewer men go to university?

Nobody panic – but men are less likely to attend university than their female counterparts. This is borne out by the data, as The Globe and Mail’s Joe Friesen reports – a growing trend that has taken root over generations.

Why? One factor may be a public school system that may be better suited to female students, something referred to by some as the “girlification” of education, a term I came across in my colleague Rachel Giese’s 2018 book Boys: What it Means to Become a Man. Are males as alienated – in the education system, but also in society at large – as the manosphere would have us believe? And is this contributing to the growing number of men skipping university?

Trump is bad, men should be emasculated, traditional male roles are evil, university is wonderful, Trump voters are awful and Trump is bad.

UK Cops Took Part in Muslim Grooming Gang Sex Assaults

Why were UK cops so eager to cover up Muslim grooming gang sex trafficking and assaults on young girls?

At least one father was threatened with arrest when he tried to save his daughter from the Muslim sex grooming gangs. When police officers entered a room where underage girls were drunk and being assaulted by Muslim men, they arrested the girls, not the men. The cover-up continued a long time. Why?

The German parties’ pact to silence criticism of immigration

Islam does not belong in Germany

Every mainstream party running in Cologne’s local elections this month has agreed not to criticise immigration. Those bound by the so-called fairness agreement say they will not depict asylum seekers or migrants in a ‘negative’ light. Candidates are also warned not to ‘exploit’ migration as an electoral issue.

Carney was elected on a wave of tariff panic. Now he has other problems

Fall has always felt like much more of a time to take stock and start over to me than January. Structure returns to life, new routines settle in and everything green turns more gilded and rustling with each passing day, a constant reminder that time ticks by and things change, whether you like it or not.

All of which is to say: Holy smokes, have we ever been on an emotional journey as a country over the past year.

President Trump warns that Chicago is ‘about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR’

President Donald Trump threatened Illinois’s biggest city with a ‘Chipocalypse’ ahead of expected Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids.

Trump, 79, took to his social media platform, Truth Social, on Saturday to post a meme about himself, where he wrote: ‘I love the smell of deportations in the morning.

‘Chicago about to find out why it’s called the Department of WAR.’

Draft major projects list not good enough for Ontario, Ford says

Cross Ontario Tunnel planned

Ontario Premier Doug Ford said a draft list reported by The Globe and Mail of 32 potential major projects to fast-track across the country is not good enough for his province and that he discussed the issue directly with Prime Minister Mark Carney on Friday.

The list, which is a government document obtained by The Globe, describes potential projects based on proposals Ottawa has received from premiers and others in recent months. It covers all provinces and territories, and includes ports, roads, bridges, mines and a range of energy projects.

Why Venezuelan F-16s buzzing US warships prove Trump right

First the boat, then the buzz. On Tuesday, an American strike in the Caribbean shredded a vessel ferrying narcotics out of Venezuela, killing eleven alleged members of the Tren de Aragua gang – which Caracas, strategically, dismissed as an AI hallucination. Two days later, Nicolás Maduro tried his own spectacle, dispatching a pair of F-16s to roar over the USS Jason Dunham, one of the U.S. destroyers recently sent on a counter-narcotics patrol off Venezuela’s coast.

The maneuvers – and the steady drumbeat of pressure that preceded them – have regime-changers daydreaming about intervention and restrainers losing sleep. But before mistaking the noise for reality, it’s worth asking: what is Washington trying to achieve?

Where the boys aren’t

The gender gap in higher education has been widening for decades. Do universities need to do more to entice men back?

As classes begin for students at Canadian universities this month, one group will stand out for its relative underrepresentation: young men.

Even before enrolment data is available, it’s safe to predict that for every 100 Canadian students on campus this fall, nearly 60 will be women and only about 40 will be men.

This gender gap has existed for more than two decades, and universities are well aware of it – but they haven’t done much to address it. Discussion of the subject is not quite taboo, but it’s uncomfortable.

That’s likely because out in the working world, men are doing just fine. The data show that men still earn more than women. They also tend to hold more positions of power, including at universities.

Everything is great according to the Globe but stupid boys get paid more and still dominate STEM education and until STEM equals WOKE mean stupid boys must die or something.

The Globe may or may not have interviewed a white guy as a subject for this study which says more than they know.

The Star Celebrates The 3rd World Dumpster Fire On Your Doorstep

Ridgeway Plaza is a problem other cities can only dream of having. Here’s how to stop it from becoming a nightmare

Arriving at Ridgeway Plaza is strange. It’s like a downtown but located on the edge of town. Crowds, commerce, and life all in a place meant to be much quieter.

So much so that Mississauga is trying to curtail it, but it’s a problem of the city’s own making: designing cities almost exclusively for cars quickly becomes trouble.

Ridgeway Plaza has become a phenomenon, attracting people from across the GTA and North America to a series of strip malls that offer a variety of restaurants and shops primarily, but not exclusively, Middle Eastern and South Asian. It’s the multicultural Canadian dream at its most vibrant, but it’s clashing with another Canadian dream: car driving.

Should Trans People Be Banned From Owning Guns?

The Trump administration is currently weighing whether transgender Americans should be banned from buying firearms. This proposal comes after a tragedy in which a trans shooter murdered children at a Minneapolis church. The horror is undeniable. The temptation to act is overwhelming. Yet the cure being floated may be worse than the disease. Far worse.
