Cross-dresser cheat

A controversial transgender female cyclist won a North Carolina cycling event, beating her crestfallen rival by five whole minutes.

Austin Killips, 27, who was born male, throttled the competition on Saturday in a grueling 137-mile long race and managed to establish a lead early on in a race called the Belgian Waffle Ride.

By the 13th mile mark, Killips was out in front while female riders Paige Onweller and Flavia Oliveira had to settle for second and third place respectively.

‘I respect myself too much to stay in Canada’: Why so many new immigrants are leaving

… A recent Statistics Canada report suggested there are no widespread labour shortages for jobs that require high levels of education as the number of unemployed Canadians with a bachelor’s degree or higher education since 2016 has always exceeded the number of vacant positions that require at least an undergraduate education.

Akbar knows a number of people who have left Canada after completing their PhDs because they couldn’t find a job and moved to the U.S. or returned home, where their Canadian education is highly regarded.

… The 2021 census found that just 45.7 per cent of permanent residents became citizens within 10 years, down from 60 per cent in 2016 and 75.1 per cent in 2001.

The two countries from which Canada gets the most immigrants — India and China — don’t recognize dual citizenship. That has likely had an effect on Canadian citizenship uptake as newcomers are afraid Beijing and Delhi will strip their Chinese and Indian citizenship.

In a nutshell our immigration policy is horseshit and harms Canadian citizens and immigrants, but you knew that.

The only sectors of society to benefit are the corporate and permanent political classes who exploit shortages to profit from your misery.

Trantifa: Hard-left transgender extremist groomers

Kill Crazy Trannies!

The new face of extremism unmasked: The UN and Republicans are watching ‘trantifa’ – the hard-left transgender activists who flirt with violence to promote their radical agenda

Pull away the black mask, and political extremism has a new face: ‘trantifa.’

The portmanteau of ‘trans’ and ‘antifa’ is exactly what you’d expect — far-left transgender activists willing to intimidate, harass and even use violence to advance their radical new ideas about gender.

Much like antifa, they’re not a formal group of card-carrying members.

Colby Cosh: A lesson in liberalism for a teacher who should know better

As an Edmontonian, I have to be honest about my initial reaction to audio of a local teacher berating Muslim students who skipped class during Pride events. That reaction was, of course, a spasm of post-traumatic stress. I have been in the presence of teachers punctuating a very funny meltdown with warnings of, “It’s not funny.” I may even have been the cause of some.

Canadians’ Trust in Government and Science Waned Since COVID: Federal Report

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused Canadians to have an “increased distrust of government and science,” according to a report by the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).

The report, based on questionnaires with 2,088 Canadians and 16 focus groups nationwide, noted that less than one quarter (22 percent) of those surveyed said they were more likely to trust federal agencies since the pandemic.

It’s what happens when you’re governed by Liberal Party Grifters.

The soldiers did not identify the tanks in public.

Canadians are working past retirement, but not because they want to

At the age of 70, James Kadri is still putting in the work at his local grocery store in Calgary. He’s worked there for 35 years, and relies on it and two other part-time jobs to make ends meet.

“If it wasn’t for the night job, I’d be broke or bankrupt, you know, and then where would I be,” Kadri told The Cost of Living.

“It’s been bad because, yes, inflation, there’s a lot of price hikes and everything, you know. So I’m careful how I spend my money.”

Plenty to go round. If the Liberal party didn’t steal it.

After Shootings and Killings, Colorado School Leaders Backtrack on Anti-Cop Stance

It was in the name of racial equity that the Denver school board voted unanimously in the summer of 2020 to remove police officers from the city’s public high schools.

Minority kids, board members argued, were disproportionally ticketed and arrested by the armed officers, who had worked in the local high schools for more than two decades.

Venezuela Has More Than Just Oil and China Knows It

On May 17, Venezuela’s President Nicolás Maduro received a delegation group led by Lin Mingxiang, vice minister of the International Department of the Chinese Communist Party’s Central Committee, and discussed ways to further strengthen the strategic partnership between the two countries.

Weeks before this happened, after Maduro met with Chinese ambassador Li Baorong, Bloomberg’s Patricia Laya and Fabiola Zerpa suggested that the two were “re-establishing connections after years of cooling ties, with government contacts resuming.”

Remember the Khmer Rouge

Historical ignorance isn’t bliss; it’s suicide.

Aforgetful society lives on the precipice of history’s abyss. Lloyd Billingsley reminded us of this when he warned, “as ever, the struggle against genocide is the struggle of memory against forgetting.”

Billingsley was referencing the Communist Khmer Rouge’s democidal frenzy of 1975-1979 that killed over 2,000,000 people, specifically “Cambodian children were clubbed to death and babies smashed against trees.” He provided a link to an historical, contemporaneous 1977 account of the communist regime and its bloodthirsty Angka Loeu (“organization on high”) leadership’s initial crimes against the Cambodian people and humanity:  Murder of a Gentle Land: The Untold Story of Communist Genocide in Cambodia, by John Barron and Anthony Paul. It is a horrific chronicle of how the insidious tactics and crimes into which the murderous ideology of communism metastasizes and, ultimately, consumes a people.
