Roger Waters: Propaganda tool for Moscow?

The 79-year-old former member of the British avant-garde rock band Pink Floyd addressed the UN Security Council in New York on Wednesday via video link.

Invited by Moscow to give the speech, Roger Waters repeated that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine was “provoked,” claiming that he represented a “voiceless majority” with his opinion.

He did condemn “in the strongest possible terms” Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, but added, that it “was not unprovoked, so I also condemn the provocateur in the strongest possible terms.”

Sharif heads the Pakistan Muslim League (PML), the larger party in the coalition. Zardari runs the smaller partner, the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP).

San Francisco Mulls Creating a Red-Light District

I moved to San Francisco almost right out of college for a sort of internship. I lived there for as long as my wallet could stand it. For a fresh-faced college boy, San Francisco even then was a bit of an eye-opener. Of course, that was before the jump in homelessness and crime. I’m sure it’s much more interesting if less enjoyable now than it was back then.

Yea that oughta help.

Federal government appealing court ruling to repatriate 4 ISIS psychopaths’ detained in Syria

The federal government is appealing a Federal Court ruling that ordered the government to repatriate four Canadian men being detained in northeastern Syria in prisons for suspected ISIS members.

In its notice to the Federal Court of Appeal, the government asks that the court order be stayed pending the appeal.

The Canadian men — who have not been charged with crimes — are currently in prisons run by Kurdish forces in Northern Syria and are being detained for alleged ISIS ties. The Canadian government has listed ISIS as a terrorist group.

One of the 4 is idiot convert Jack Letts who is a Canadian by mere technicality.

The grotesque rehabilitation of Shamima Begum

She has been allowed to present herself as the real victim in her story.

UK journalists seem hell bent on rehabilitating former ISIS bride Shamima Begum. The BBC has recently produced both a prime-time documentary and a major podcast series on Begum’s story. Last weekend, to promote these two programmes, she also featured as a baseball-capped poster girl on The Times’ Saturday magazine.

It’s the same in Canada, they treat these Mohammedan psychopaths as the victims and expect us to welcome them back with open arms. I hope I’m around to watch their crocodile eat them.

Dolezal ahead of her time? The “Pretendian” wave in Academia

While the Supreme Court tackles the question of affirmative action in admissions, the perverse incentives have generated another type of perverse outcome. The College Fix reported last week about the wave of “Pretendians,” or what we have called “Fauxcohontas” posturing in the case of Elizabeth Warren. A rise in unsubstantiated claims of Native American ancestry have begun to plague faculties in Academia…

It’s an odd one, most offenders are women lending credence to those who suggest affirmative action/DEI initiatives are virtually built for abuse by the unethical.

Britain’s counter-extremism strategy is failing to address extreme antisemitism

Britain’s counter-extremism strategy is failing to address extreme antisemitism, according to the independent review of the Prevent programme.

William Shawcross said he was “disturbed by the prevalence” of hatred towards Jews among people referred to Prevent, a programme which aims to stop people becoming terrorists.

He said those who referred individuals to Prevent and staff carrying out Prevent programmes did not understand antisemitism sufficiently and were failing to tackle it as a growing extremist threat.

Putin has secret team dedicated to protecting him from memes portraying him as a dwarf, Hitler or a crab

Russia’s federal media watchdog tasks its spooks with protecting Vladimir Putin from memes that portray him as a ‘bald dwarf’, ‘a crab’, or ‘a Hitler wannabe’.

That is according to reports on a leak out of Roskomnadzor, the main agency behind online censorship in Moscow that is responsible for blocking material about the on-going invasion of Ukraine and any disparaging posts about the Russian president.

Analysis of the leaks found that the agency compiles reports on all ‘negative publications’, and sends them ‘upstairs’ to the Kremlin and Russia’s security services to brief them on all of the despot’s critics via an internal messaging system.

Not as bad as the Democrats colluding with social media to censor everything from Covid to Hunter’s laptop.
