More than a week after CTV News asked for the numbers and was first to report on the dual accounting methods, the province now says that as of Tuesday, there were 152 additional patients in hospital due to COVID but who were no longer infectious and therefore had “discontinued isolation.”

Two white male students were accosted by a pair of female students in a space on the campus of Arizona State University over a “racist” sticker on a laptop that said “Police Lives Matter,” and told the leave the room, according to a video posted online that has since gone viral.

Europe is currently suffering the consequences of an uncoordinated rush to carbon-free electricity that experts warn could hit Canada as well unless urgent action is taken.

“You know, if we don’t get people vaccinated who need to be vaccinated, and we get that conflating with an influenza season, we could have a dark, bad winter,” the White House medical adviser said during an appearance on The Takeout podcast, although he previewed a potential way out.

An internet freedom advocacy group from Vancouver launched a petition calling for the government to not re-introduce Bill C-10 and Bill C-36 – two bills which critics warn would infringe on the free speech rights of Canadians online.
Unexpectedly high Liberal vote counts in Vancouver and Toronto led Karamveer Lalh to conclude that “up to a dozen seats in heavily Chinese-Canadian areas may have been lost to the Conservatives due to Chinese-language efforts by pro-Beijing groups.”
The final federal election result may be delayed until the weekend – or even longer – because thousands of mail-in ballots have still to be counted.

During an interview on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Psaki was asked if there is any plan in the future to address issues regarding negative mental health effects with Big Tech companies like Facebook and Instagram and hold them accountable as publishers as it “appears that this just keeps going down the line.”
“It shouldn’t,” Psaki said. “And the president thinks that one of these platforms has too much power, one of these platforms could do certainly much more to address all of these things you have referenced.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Ben Shapiro, but feelings trump facts when it comes to covid-19. This is thanks entirely to the love triangle forged between the corporate press, government officials, and tech giants whose sinister and divisive campaign of fear and censorship spawned a reaction so virulent that society was upended in a matter of weeks for a virus with a 99 percent plus survival rate.
Despite viral claims amplified by the White House, Democrats, and the corporate media, the idea that Border Patrol agents were “whipping” Haitian migrants at the Southern U.S. border turned out to be a lie.
The photographer who took the viral photos that were circulated to further the false narrative admitted on Friday that he never saw Border Patrol use the leather against anyone.

Prayer in public schools has been a hot-button issue in the United States ever since the Supreme Court ruled against it in the landmark 1962 decision Engel v. Vitale. But now it’s back, at least in one school district in Newsomland. EdSource reported Monday that California’s “Elk Grove Unified School District began offering culturally appropriate meals and setting aside rooms in many of its middle and high schools for prayer during Muslim holidays in preparation for the additional Afghan refugee students it expects in the next month.”

BREAKING: In a 218-211 vote, the Democrat-controlled House just passed the most extreme abortion law in American history.

On August 27, I wrote a story about how the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) pulled a fast one by making the claim that they approved the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine which kicked off a series of Democrat tyrants formulating plans to mandate Americans get vaccinated whether they want to or not or they lose their jobs. The Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, along with Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson, were given Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA, and vaccines under EUA cannot be mandated by any employer, including the federal government under Title 21, Section 360bbb-3.
My research showed that the FDA’s own fact sheet for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine that was written on August 23rd, the same day they announced the approval, reveals that Comirnaty was approved and the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is still under Emergency Use Authorization. They have since changed the revised date to September 22, but the information remains.

Cheerleaders for gun control have oft-cited Australia as the “gold standard.” Now their government is literally shooting them in the back.

The pandemic was a test of America’s public health bureaucracy. It failed.
Those failures were legion, and they were spread across multiple officials, agencies, and layers of government. But no institution failed quite as abysmally as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), which, through a combination of arrogance, incompetence, and astonishingly poor planning, wasted America’s only chance to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 before it spread widely.

The Justice Department has vehemently opposed the release of videos shot from the Capitol Building surveillance cameras on January 6. They claimed before the court that releasing the videos posed a “national security risk.” But US District Chief Judge Beryl Howell wasn’t buying it, and now we know why.
