Justin Trudeau Is ‘Gaslighting Law-Abiding Gun Owners’

There’s a “cynical trick” being played with gun politics in Canada, says Gary Mauser, one of Canada’s foremost authorities on gun control. By exploiting American shootings to layer on yet more regulations for Canadian hunters, farmers and sport shooters, the prime minister is taking advantage of the ignorance of his supporters, Mauser tells Anthony Furey in this week’s episode. And while more Canadians are cluing in to the reality that Ottawa’s latest gun-control proposals aim at the wrong target, they’d be surprised to learn how little the government is doing to address the real problem of firearms smuggled in illegally from the United States.

It’s No Coincidence The Liberals Are Suspending Vaccine Mandates Just As Trudeau’s Hypocrisy Became Completely Undefendable

Trudeau going to the US and then coming back to Canada with Covid and being able to evade the rules and procedures that apply to the rest of us made the continued mandates politically untenable for the Liberal government to maintain. But don’t mistake their move as a matter of principle.

Woke Ontario Teachers’ Hatred Of Conservatives On Full Display

Ontario’s woke teachers – clearly upset that Premier Doug Ford won a landslide majority earlier this month – took to Twitter non-stop over the past two weeks to express their hatred of conservatives.

Before they leave the classroom for their two month vacation, they also vowed they’d continue to indoctrinate young minds.

Of course they didn’t use the word “indoctrinate.” These radical leftists would prefer to call it “teaching young minds respect, kindness and equity” – code for dividing students into identity groups and ramming Marxist ideologies down their throats.

Early COVID Treatment Works – Yet More Examples

There are many paradoxes in the COVID-19 data from the western nations concerning disease and death attributed to SARS-CoV-2 infection. One of the most problematic is the result of widespread systemic reporting bias, in which disease and deaths WITH evidence of infection are grossly over-reported as disease and deaths FROM infection by SARS-CoV-2. The truth is that we may never be able to resolve this, to get to the bottom of what really went on, due to perverse political and financial incentives to over-report COVID-19 deaths (while also minimizing toxicity of the vaccines). But there is no question that if you are admitted to a western hospital with a COVID-19 diagnosis, your risk of death during that hospitalization has been amazingly high.

A Bit Of A Rant On The Senate GOP Compromise On Gun Control

When the prospective deal in the Senate on a gun control bill was revealed on Sunday, Allahpundit shared some of his observations and analysis. As is the case with any of us, I probably won’t view it exactly the same way. But there were others from the conservative side of the aisle weighing in, some in rather surprising ways. For example, when I first looked at an editorial from the staff of the Washington Examiner titled “Sensible Senate steps to reduce gun deaths,” I assumed it was a satirical piece. It was not. I’m going to share the first three paragraphs of this editorial with you here before commenting so you can get a sense of the tone. And I’ll include a reminder that this was not intended as a satirical piece.

California’s Schools Are Reviving The Loyalty Oath

The California Community College administration has just adopted a rule that will require faculty to use diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) principles and anti-racism in their teaching. DEIA and anti-racism are labels for a family of controversial tenets, from the belief that minority groups should enjoy special privileges in hiring, college admissions and so forth, to the broader view that capitalism and similar bedrock institutions must be uprooted to address systemic racism. Proponents of anti-racism argue that anyone who does not support these deeply divisive concepts is in fact racist.

Trudeau is wrong. Self-defence is a right.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau claimed in an American radio interview that Canadians don’t have a right to use firearms for self-defence, blaming American rhetoric for making Canadians think they have rights he claims they don’t. While firearms ownership in Canada is not a legal right, self-defence is. Moreover, Canadians can use firearms to defend themselves. Criminal lawyer Sam Goldstein joins the show to fact check Trudeau.

$2.5 Billion Systemic Racism Lawsuit Targets Federal Government

Alleging decades of systematic racism, the class action lawsuit – filed in the Federal Court of Canada in December, 2021 – has grown from 12 initial claimants to over 1,100.

The case has been launched on behalf of all black federal employees having experienced discrimination and racism in their employment since 1970, and could cover 300,000 past and present workers.

Alongside the creation of a $2.5 billion compensation fund to address “the pain, suffering and financial losses of black workers” over the past 50 years, the legal suit asks for the creation of a Black Equity Commission charged with investigating the challenges faced by black workers.

Risk Of Digital ID Being “Harmful To Privacy” Says Former Federal Watchdog

The former privacy commissioner of Canada warned that while digital identity could make access to government programs easier, it could cause harm to the privacy of Canadians depending on how it’s designed.

Jan. 6 Committee Caught ‘Lying and Altering Evidence’

In a statement, the spokesperson confessed that “the Select Committee on Monday created and provided Representative Schiff a graphic to use during the business meeting quoting from a text message from ‘a lawmaker’ to Mr. Meadows. The graphic read, ‘On January 6, 2021, Vice President Mike Pence, as President of the Senate, should call out all electoral votes that he believes are unconstitutional as no electoral votes at all.’ In the graphic, the period at the end of that sentence was added inadvertently. The Select Committee is responsible for and regrets the error.”

With Inflation At Historic Highs, Biden Is Still Trying To Make It Worse

All he had to do was end the COVID-19 lockdowns and let the economy recover on its own. Instead, President Joe Biden spent trillions trying to “transform” the country, and now, everyone, especially the nation’s poorest, is paying the price for his hubris.

Political Violence Escalates in a Fracturing U.S.

After a week featuring a House hearing into the Capitol riot, the attempted assassination of a U.S. Supreme Court justice, the firebombing of an anti-abortion group, and the arrest of extremists apparently ready to rumble at a Pride Month event, it’s fair to say that political violence is now part of American life. With the right and left at each other’s throats, the U.S. resembles Italy in the 1970s when ideologically motivated clashes plunged the country into years of turmoil. Italy eventually got its problems (mostly) under control, but the U.S. might suffer less pain by decentralizing power and restraining the state’s reach so that people need not fear abuse when enemies win office.

Furey: Trudeau’s Commitment To Villainize The Unvaccinated

Travellers are experiencing long delays as a result of the Trudeau government’s vaccine mandates and travel restrictions. Despite calls from travel groups and airlines, the government refuses to drop the mandates.

This week, the Trudeau government announced it would drop mandatory random testing for travellers until the end of the month. As Anthony Furey explains, this will do nothing to solve the crises in our airports.

Anthony says Justin Trudeau just can’t drop the mandates because he’s fully committed to the villainization of the unvaccinated.

Millions Believe In Conspiracy Theories In Canada

Transport Minister Cites Faulty Data To Justify Travel Mandates

Liberal Transport Minister Omar Alghabra cited a study that predated the Omicron variant and relied on people to self-report their mask use to justify maintaining Covid-19 mandates.

In a tweet on Thursday, Alghabra claimed that mandatory masking made it 83% less likely to get Covid-19.

WEF Says Smartphone Tech Will Be Incorporated Into Your Body

Speaking in Davos at the World Economic Forum’s annual meeting, Nokia CEO and WEF agenda contributor Pekka Lundmark said that smartphone tech will be incorporated into human bodies by 2030.

When asked about it, Lundmark said, “First of all, it will definitely happen. I was talking about 6G earlier, which [will happen] around 2030. I would say that by then, definitely, the smartphone as we know it today will not be the most common interface.”

“Many of these things will be built directly into our bodies.”

The Democrats: ‘A Criminal Organization’

More than a decade ago, Michael Walsh dubbed the Democrats, “A criminal organization masquerading as a political party.” I once thought this was overstating the matter, but I no longer do. If you can’t fully accept this characterization, recent events surrounding the leak of the Supreme Court draft opinion overturning Roe v. Wade, should unshutter your eyes and let in the light. Democratic leaders are encouraging lawless, threatening behavior against Supreme Court justices, and their attorney general refuses to enforce the law against such behavior. This criminal organization has a huge public relations outfit working around the clock for it, the Major Media, which is why you may have missed this.

‘Disinformation’ no longer: Pentagon confirms there are 46 U.S.-funded biolabs in Ukraine

The Pentagon on Thursday admitted that the U.S. government has supported 46 biological research facilities in Ukraine over the past 20 years.

In a document titled “Fact Sheet on WMD Threat Reduction Efforts“, Pentagon for the first time revealed the specific number of facilities its government has sponsored in Ukraine and claimed that these facilities were part of a “peaceful” public health project and were not focused on developing biological weapons.

Even Liberal MPs Are Turning Against Trudeau’s Authoritarian Travel Bans

In the lead up to the 2015 election, Justin Trudeau often talked about how many Canadians felt their MPs represented the Prime Minister’s Office rather than their constituencies.

It was an effective line and an effective talking point, as it resonated with the widespread feeling that power had become too centralized.

Of course, Trudeau pulled a fast-one on Canadians.

Once he took power, he centralized control in the PMO even more than Harper did.
Further, while Harper was often known for listening to differing internal perspectives, Trudeau has been far less tolerant.

Those who actually believed him when he talked about “openness” and “transparency” and tried to live up to it – like Jody Wilson-Raybould – were quickly ostracized and replaced by sycophants.

Secret Law Making, the Sequel: As Youtubers Speak Out Against Bill C-11, Government Moves to End Debate, Vote Next Week on Secret Amendments

With only eight days left in the Parliamentary schedule until the House of Commons breaks for the summer, Bill C-11, the Online Streaming Act, has entered into a strange parallel universe. In one world, the government is moving to end debate on the bill and expedite passage in the House by the end of next week. Assuming it is successful – NDP support suggests it has the votes – the government has set a deadline of Monday, June 13th for amendments, June 14th for voting on all amendments as part of a clause-by-clause review, and then a single day for the last two stages in the House of Commons (report stage and third reading). Put it all together and it wants the bill passed by the House by the end of next week.

Critical Thinking Is Not “Denialism”

Recently, three professors – Niigaan Sinclair and Kisha Supernant and Sean Carleton – wrote opinion pieces expressing concerns about increasing “denialism” with respect to the “unmarked graves” at Indian Residential Schools (IRS). “Denialists,” according to Supernant and Carleton, are people who “seek to deny or distort basic IRS facts and question the validity of ongoing research to shake public confidence and undermine truth and reconciliation efforts.”

Uvalde, Texas, Elementary School Shooting & Police; You May Not Like My View But Its My View Now Today; IMO, It Was Fear By Police, They Were Scared, But They Decided Purposely To Not Help Those Kids

Its important to talk this out for much of it is nonsensical. We all can have our views and respectfully debate this for we need to know what happened here. In the end, 19 cops stood by and 19 kids died and 2 adults. Now the chief cop is saying he did not know he was the commander and he did not carry his radio as it would have slowed him down. He needs to stfu. He makes no sense.

10,000 Reasons Pelosi Is to Blame for Security Failures on Jan. 6

There are 10,000 reasons why Nancy Pelosi is singularly negligent in the U.S. Capitol’s comprehensive security failures on January 6th. Instead of addressing her willful negligence, she is pointing her finger at the person whose help she ignored, President Donald Trump.

The predictable hallmark of a left-wing coverup is to somehow find a way to scapegoat the 45th president of the United States, Donald Trump, for their own abysmal missteps and errors. The Democrats’ twisted creativity in pursuing this anomaly is truly something to behold.

Canada’s Monarchy Problem

On June 5th 2022, Canada’s 96-year-old Head of State, Queen Elizabeth II (her full title, per the Royal Style and Titles Act (R.S.C., 1985, c. R-12): “Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God of the United Kingdom, Canada and Her other Realms and Territories Queen, Head of the Commonwealth, Defender of the Faith”) appeared at her Platinum Jubilee pageant riding in the Gold State Coach, “an opulent 260-year-old gilded horse-drawn carriage” built in 17621. Surrounding the coach were the four postilions, nine walking grooms, six footmen, and four Yeoman of the Guard carrying their long partisans. Eight of the grooms walked beside the horses. The more ornately dressed footmen walked beside the body of the coach2. Emanating out from this inner sanctum was a throng of endless ceremonial figures, police officers, journalists and adoring spectators taking photos and videos.

There was only one problem: the gilded carriage was empty. Or rather, the situation was even stranger. It contained only a hologram. An image of Her Royal Majesty captured at her 1953 Coronation (70 years ago) waved mechanically at the dutifully assembled crowd, standing in for the increasingly absent hereditary monarch of 15 countries and territories worldwide, including Canada, the most populous nation ruled by the British Monarchy outside the United Kingdom.

Activists Plan to Block Entrances and ‘Shut Down’ Supreme Court to Prevent Expected Roe v. Wade Ruling

Protest organizing group Shut Down D.C. plans to block access to the Supreme Court in Washington on June 13.

In online meeting footage obtained by The Epoch Times, the group announced that it planned to seal off all three vehicle entrances to the court so that justices can’t get there and announce a decision that might overturn Roe v. Wade.

“Goal is to create a decision dilemma, presenting the court, Congress, and law enforcement [and the political leaders that oversee them] with three unacceptable [to them] options,” a video slide made by the activists reads.

Trudeau’s narrative on the use of the Emergencies Act continues to crumble

When the Trudeau government invoked the Emergencies Act to quash the peaceful Freedom Convoy, they made a number of wild claims to rationalize its use of the never-before-used act. Since then, Trudeau’s narrative about why the government needed these unprecedented powers has crumbled – the convoy was not funded by foreign donors or terrorists, the protesters had nothing to do with the arson attempt in Ottawa and to this date – not a single police force has confirmed the government’s claim that the police requested the government to invoke the act.

Uvalde school police chief ditched his radio during shooting because he ‘thought it would slow him down’ and claims he ‘didn’t know he was in charge’ as he describes standing outside classroom while 12 kids and teachers inside waited for help

The Uvalde School Police Chief widely blamed for the disastrous cop handling of the massacre at an elementary school has revealed he intentionally ditched his radios because he thought they would ‘slow him down’, and said he didn’t know he was in charge of the operation.

Pete Arredondo was in charge of the tiny school police force in the Uvalde Consolidated School district when gunman Salvador Ramos opened fire in Robb Elementary School on May 24.

He has been widely blamed for not responding to the shooting more promptly, and Texas officials even said he gave directives to cops telling them not to try to breach the classroom where Ramos had barricaded himself inside with kids.

Imagine the terror those children faced. Realize the cowardice of every police officer standing outside hearing gunshots and waiting for 77 minutes before entering the building. Consider at the lies the police have told – at least the ones we know about so far. Ask why schools are targets and why the government has done essentially nothing since Columbine to protect schoolchildren. Hint:  because dead kids promote national gun confiscation. The gun grabbers are using massacres of children to promote their flawed and anti-Constitutional anti-gun agenda.

Natural Gas Rationing May Come To Europe This Winter Unless Energy Efficiency Starts Improving Quickly, IEA Chief Warns

Europe may need to ration its energy supply if efficiency doesn’t improve and demand doesn’t cool, the International Energy Agency’s executive director warned.

If winter weather is harsh and drags on while demand in China ramps up as COVID lockdowns continue easing, then rationing is on the table unless energy efficiency starts improving quickly, Faith Birol told the Financial Times.

The J6 Inquisition Is An Obvious Soviet-Style Show Trial

The House Select Committee on Jan. 6 launched the public phase of its proceedings Thursday night in a prime-time hearing with all the fanfare of a Soviet show trial, complete with production assistance from a former president of ABC News.

Animal shelter to NRA and gun restriction foes: No pets for you

If you want to adopt a dog or cat from this Southern California animal shelter, you have to be 25, prove you can provide a pet with a good home — and support gun restrictions.

Membership in the NRA is a deal breaker, said Shelter Hope Pet Shop owner Kim Sill.

“We do not support those who believe that the 2nd amendment gives them the right to buy assault weapons,” Sill wrote on a website for the shelter in Thousand Oaks, California, about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles. “If your beliefs are not in line with ours, we will not adopt a pet to you.”

Sill added, “If you lie about being a NRA supporter, make no mistake, we will sue you for fraud.”
