Thank you know, the thing God we have jackpuddings like Joy Reid of MSNBC and lickspittle Don Lemon to remind us that our nation is brimming with white supremacy; otherwise, we wouldn’t know. I personally can’t see any. What I have seen are well over 400 fake hate crimes. No racism? No problem! Fake it ’til you make it.
Sometimes a public backlash is exactly what’s needed to kick some common sense into our increasingly woke school boards.
Such is the case with the Toronto District School Board’s (TDSB) insane decisions not to allow students to attend book club events featuring Marie Henein, an outstanding criminal lawyer the board took issue with because of who she chose to defend, and Nadia Murad, a Nobel Prize-winning woman who had been a victim of ISIL, endured torments too ugly to speak, but managed to escape and now champions young women the world over.
The left lost control of their narrative of the “White supremacist” “active shooter” “murderer” Kyle Rittenhouse in the face of overwhelming factual evidence of self-defense. So leftists did what they do best (or worst): double down. Racism! White supremacy! No justice, no peace!
The right’s reaction to the left’s reaction to the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict ranges from ridicule to confusion. How can the left and MSNBC, CNN, and the New York Times — but I repeat myself — claim anti-black racism and white supremacy in a case in which all of the principals — aggressors, victims, shooters, shot, judge, jury, prosecutors, and defense attorneys — are white?
It’s time to tell the truth about the black racism, crime and terror that came to Waukesha.
“There’s Nothing More Frightening in America Today than an Angry White Man,” a CNN op-ed headline blared after the Rittenhouse verdict. And then Darrell Brooks, a black racist, career criminal, and convicted sex offender with two open felony cases, intentionally drove into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, leaving bloody children strewn like crumpled flowers.
Now that safe spaces and universal acceptance have become the norm, it is fashionable to tolerate all kinds of proclivities and inclinations in the name of diversity. But until recently, we respected the nebulous line that faintly dissects the parameters of what we consider to be good and evil. Not so today, where there is a growing campaign to destigmatise everything, even if doing so requires us to unpick the moral fabric of our society.
Nice pipelines you have there. Pity if something were to … happen to them. Thus spake St. David Suzuki, guardian of all that is good and nice in Canada, channeling the mafia.
An Illinois Democratic staffer brazenly mocked the Waukesha SUV tragedy that killed five and injured dozens in Wisconsin on Sunday, sarcastically equating the incident to Kyle Rittenhouse’s highly-publicized acquittal last week.
‘It was probably just self-defense,’ Mary Lemanski, 46, reportedly the social media director for the Democratic Party in DuPage County, wrote on Twitter Sunday night in the wake of the Wisconsin attack, in the first of a string of since-deleted, scornful posts.
‘Living in Wisconsin, he probably felt threatened,’ Lemanski continued in her late-night tirade, referring to the SUV driver in the Waukesha case.

Mark Richards, Kyle Rittenhouse’s criminal defense attorney, told Insider that he has received so many death threats that he was no longer using his own cellphone.
Richards said that he “can’t count” the number of death threats he’s received recently. “It’s too high,” he added.
The attorney has since taken to using his wife’s cellphone, which he used to speak to Insider, but added that her number has also been targeted by people making death threats.
The verdict is in and the trial is over. Kyle Rittenhouse has been judged not guilty on all counts in connection to the shooting in Kenosha, WI. As you might have expected, the left wasn’t too happy about the jury’s decision.

To save critical race theory, high-achieving minorities must be recast as the beneficiaries of hereditary privilege
Americans have long made the mistake of grafting their domestic culture wars onto foreign conflicts, and the one between Israelis and Palestinians is no exception. Contemporary concepts of race, oppression, and privilege are now the yardsticks by which many Americans measure unrelated events thousands of miles away in the Middle East. At a rally in May, in the midst of hostilities between Israel and Gaza, Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib declared, “What they are doing to the Palestinian people is what they continue to do to our Black brothers and sisters here.” Missouri Rep. Cori Bush similarly informed the House, “Until all our children are safe, we will continue to fight for our rights in Palestine and Ferguson.”
A Loudoun County official has branded a group of parents who are concerned about the school district’s handling of sexual misconduct cases and its teaching of critical race theory ‘alt-right,’ despite the group having black and Jewish supporters.
Juli Briskman, a member of the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors, tweeted the claim on Thursday, after the parent organization Fight for Schools announced it had obtained enough signatures to challenge all of the remaining school board members who were part of a Facebook group that launched a campaign against parents who oppose the teaching of critical race theory.
In her tweet on Thursday, Briskman wrote: ‘[Thank you, Loudoun for All] for a factual and thorough debunking of the alt-right FFS petitions.

Ihave been writing a lot about the politically inspired perversion of language. The name “Orwell” crops up in any such discussion, as does the word “Newspeak,” that twisted mode of language that Orwell outlined in the appendix to Nineteen Eighty-Four. The goal of Newspeak, Orwell said, was to replace standard English with a sharply diminished patois whose linguistic poverty was its prime political advantage. By reducing the suppleness of language, the elites who controlled society hoped also to reduce dissent — not only the activity of dissent, but also the thoughts and emotions that guided it.
Communist goal #26: Present homosexuality, degeneracy, and promiscuity as “normal, natural, and healthy.”
The left is trying to normalize the idea of adult sex with children, and what better way to make pedophiles seem normal than to give them a nice name. Leftists are now referring to pedos as “MAPs” which is short for “minor-attracted persons.” Don’t be fooled: a pedophile is a pedophile, no matter what the pinkos choose to call them.
Long-time readers of this column will remember those four words from an entry in this space exactly 17 months ago. That entry, a column entitled “Four Stages of Marxist Takeover: The Accuracy of Yuri Bezmenov,” was the most heavily trafficked item of mine last year, and either the busiest or one of the busiest on The American Spectator‘s entire site in 2020.
That happened for a reason. Namely, that it described exactly what was happening in America, and why there was a method to the apparent madness.
Elections officials in San Francisco announced a recall election against the city’s progressive district attorney made it on the ballot.
The vote on the tenure of Chesa Boudin is scheduled for June 2022, giving residents a chance to keep or oust the former public defender who has been a prosecutor for less than two years.
The son of two leftwing Weather Underground radicals who served as the getaway drivers in a 1981 armored car heist that left two police officers and a guard dead, Boudin was elected district attorney in 2019 as part of a national wave of progressive prosecutors determined to reform the criminal justice system.
