Pride Toronto took $250K federal grant to mark controversial milestone, bolster ties with police

Pride Toronto took in $250,000 of federal grant money to commemorate a contentious milestone in Canada’s LGBTQ history with hopes of improving relations with police — even though a majority of its membership continued to oppose having uniformed officers march in the country’s largest Pride parade, CBC News has learned.

After pushback from the community, the organization and federal officials reworked the contract so some of those taxpayer dollars could instead be spent on programs Pride Toronto ran before the grant was even awarded in 2018.

It’s all a scam all the time.

Nickelodeon Taps Drag Queen To Teach Kids About The Pride Flag

Nickelodeon, the children’s network, debuted a video over the weekend featuring drag queen Nina West explaining the colors of the LGBTQ Pride flag, the latest in a series of materials aimed at explaining Pride month to Nickelodeon viewers, most of whom are children.

Judge Reinstates Loudoun County Teacher Who Was Fired For Refusing To Use Anti-Science Trans Pronouns

In a victory for free speech and academic freedom, a judge just ruled that Loudoun County teacher Byron “Tanner” Cross must be reinstated to his job.

Cross made national headlines after he slammed proposals that would bring transgender medical treatments into local Virginia schools and would force teachers to use students’ chosen pronouns, regardless of their biological sex. Cross said he wouldn’t use transgender students’ chosen pronouns, since they’re inconsistent with the biological sexes of the children.

LGBTQ & Trans Pride in Toronto: Not everyone is welcome at flag raising ceremony

On Tuesday, we dropped by Toronto’s Nathan Phillips Square, home to City Hall (and a never-ending vortex of woke-ism). We were going to take in the raising of the rainbow flag, which is emblematic of the LGBT community. Correction: LGBT is so last decade. According to the City of Toronto, the new and improved moniker is 2SLGBTQ+, which we were told stands for two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex and questioning communities.

The unbearable annoyingness of Pride

The rainbow flag has become the ultimate symbol of our me, me, me society.

I see the flag-shaggers are out in force. No, not working-class people who hang the Union flag from their living-room window as an expression of pride in their nation. I’m talking about the Pride flag. That omnipresent rainbow eyesore. A virtue-signal made cloth. The flag no one can escape. Yep, it’s Pride Month, which means that everywhere you go for the next four weeks – the bank, the supermarket, Maccy D’s – you’ll have this flag waved in your face to remind you not to be such a horrible, homophobic piece of shit.
