As many provincial governments rule out implementing vaccine passports, a number of businesses are taking matters into their own hands, setting out vaccine requirements for staff and customers. Some are even calling for more government mandates. True North’s Andrew Lawton says businesses should legally have the right to do what they want, just as consumers have the right to go elsewhere – no one should be cheering for a society stratified based on vaccination status as the pro-lockdown crowd is.

Air Canada Mobile App Will Soon Allow Travelers To Submit COVID-19 Test Results

Air Canada will soon begin testing a new feature through its mobile app that will allow travelers to digitally manage their COVID-19 test results.

In a press release, the company says its app will allow users to “safely scan, upload and verify” COVID-19 test results so they can more conveniently validate compliance with government health regulations.

For the third time in less than five months, the U.S. Congress has summoned the CEOs of social media companies to appear before them, with the explicit intent to pressure and coerce them to censor more content from their platforms. On March 25, the House Energy and Commerce Committee will interrogate Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, Facebooks’s Mark Zuckerberg and Google’s Sundar Pichai at a hearing which the Committee announced will focus “on misinformation and disinformation plaguing online platforms.”

Canadians may face travel restrictions for years if coronavirus vaccine not available for everyone

It’s expected the majority of Canadians could be vaccinated against the novel coronavirus by next September, according to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

While that’s great news for Canada, experts warn that unless other nations have access to vaccines, Canadians will have to continue to live in a “bubble” — meaning our borders could remain closed.
