CBC Experts: Freedom Is Fascism
The Canadian-government-funded CBC published a “freedom is fascism” attack on liberty this weekend, quoting “experts” who claim that the word “freedom” has become “flexible” and “common among far-right groups.”
Let’s see who’s really doing the flexing, shall we?
The CBC quotes Barbara Perry, director of the Centre on Hate, Bias and Extremism at the Oshawa-based Ontario Tech University, who claims that the problem with “freedom” is that “You can define it and understand it and sort of manipulate it in a way that makes sense to you and is useful to you, depending on your perspective.”
CBC smears Freedom as Nazi just in time for junior to invoke the “Emergencies Act”. How convenient is that?
Media ‘Predictably Silent’ on Communist Flags Carried at Pro-Lockdown Protests: Jason Kenney
Alberta Premier Jason Kenney says the “media has been predictably silent” on the display of communist signs at pro-lockdown counter-protests in Ottawa, drawing a contrast to the wide condemnation of Nazi symbols that appeared in isolated incidents during the trucker protests, which Kenney said he had called on convoy organizers to disassociate themselves with.
“Two weeks ago I called on convoy organizers to disassociate themselves from symbols of hatred displayed by a small number of people. They did so,” Kenney wrote in a post on Twitter on Feb. 12.
“Today pro-lockdown counter protestors displayed Communist flags & signs in Ottawa, but the media has been predictably silent about it.”
No one should need reminding that Communism is the ideology behind the largest mass slaughters of the 20th century.
No one should need reminding that the chattering class routinely lies.
Bottom line: The membership of Canada’s public service union predator class in Ottawa are distressed at coming face to face with the proles they financially rape to sustain their privileged lifestyles. That’s the reason for invoking the “Emergencies Act.” They would have you disappeared if they could.
Canada truck convoy donor names leak after reported hack of GiveSendGo
A leak site says it has been given reams of data about the donors to the Canadian anti-vaccine mandate truckers after the fundraising platform popular with supporters of the movement allegedly suffered a hack.
Distributed Denial of Secrets announced on its website that it had 30 megabytes of donor information from Christian fundraising site GiveSendGo, including names, email addresses, zip codes, and internet protocol addresses.
At the same time, GiveSendGo appeared to be offline. Visitors to the website were met with the message that it was under maintenance and “we will be back very soon.” Messages seeking comment from the site’s operators were not immediately returned.

I joined the Canadian Freedom Convoy once the trucks were already firmly set in Ottawa. My time in the Canadian capital was spent gathering information, specifically to document the successful, as well as the failed, tactics and strategies of the demonstration. Freedom Convoy Keeps Outsmarting Liberal Politicians
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the City of Ottawa are constantly looking at new and adventurous ways to remove the freedom convoy from the nation’s capitol but the truckers keep outsmarting and outmaneuvering them at every turn. The Ottawa Police Service is repeatedly warning the truckers that they are going to be raided.
The truckers have not responded to these threats with any incendiary language or violence and watching the action first hand, one is impressed at how much the convoy is actually doing to improve situations in the city, offering free food and clothing to homeless people.

The convoy is making a difference, even if politicians don’t want to admit it
Since the freedom convoy has rolled into Ottawa, the Conservatives have ousted their leader, Saskatchewan has announced an end to all Covid restrictions, Alberta has ditched its vaccine passport, and Quebec has abandoned its tax on the unvaccinated and started to phase out its restrictions. Whenever any of the politicians behind these moves have been asked, they’ve said the convoy has nothing to do with it, but that honking you hear in the distance begs to differ.

OTTAWA — Statistics Canada says the national population almost hit 37 million last year as it grew at the fastest rate among G7 nations.
… Statistics Canada says there were about 1.8 million more people calling the country home in 2021 compared with 2016, with four in every five being immigrants.
