GoFundMe nixed the #FreedomConvoy account but had no problem working with the looters & arsonists of Seattle’s CHOP

GoFundMe cancelled a fundraiser for truckers protesting Canada’s vaccine mandates despite promoting money-raising efforts for the deadly Capital Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP).

The Freedom Convoy campaign, which raised nearly $8 million USD for truckers, was nixed Friday by GoFundMe for violating its terms of service ‘which prohibits the promotion of violence and harassment.’

Conversely, it actively endorsed a campaign in 2020 for a CHOP participant despite active riots in Seattle. GoFundMe retweeted a Bloomberg article featuring farmer Marcus Henderson, who started a garden to feed the protestors.

Even black men can be fired for not being “woke” enough

French President Emmanuel Macron made international headlines when he expressed concerns that American cultural influence is creating division in France. As a Canadian, I have made similar observations in my country, too.

Wokeness—a political agenda with a superficial commitment to diversity and inclusion—has become a global ideological movement. And, more than government policy, it’s big corporations pushing this agenda and punishing those who refuse to comply.

The Terror-Linked Symbol on Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Packaging

Ben & Jerry’s has recently come under fire for its decision to remove its ice cream products from sale and production in Jewish communities within East Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria (the West Bank), what the company considers “Israeli occupied territories.” The action has been labeled “anti-Semitic” by the Israeli government and others. Some have even accused Ben & Jerry’s of helping terrorists. The company denies the charges, but what it cannot deny is the fact that it does business with a Muslim food group, IFANCA, that is linked to terror and bigotry, itself. Maybe it is time for Ben & Jerry’s to close up shop not only in Israel, but everywhere.

Why Woke Organizations All Sound the Same

Understanding the sociology of organizations

America’s major institutions have gone woke the same way that someone goes bankrupt: slowly, then all at once. How is it that so many of us have had the experience of being in a diversity-training session divided into racially segregated “affinity groups” or reading yet another sackcloth-and-ashes statement from management and thinking: They can’t possibly believe this, right? Any answer should begin with the dominant theory from the sociology of organizations: neo-institutionalism and isomorphism. The theory explains that organizations go beyond their core competencies to imitate market leaders and to meet the demands of their trading partners, the regulatory state, and key employees.

The Genealogy of Woke Capital – From compliance to diversity

American companies’ embrace of radical ideas appears both sudden and inexplicable. In internal trainings, companies from Disney to Lockheed-Martin ask their employees to “challenge colorblind ideologies” and “deconstruct their white male privilege.” Firms spend vast sums of money on such trainings, on diversity-related speakers, and on maintaining a progressive image. Employees find themselves wondering why their workplace has transformed into a progressive propaganda center.

When it comes to managing your financial assets, you can rest assured that the employees at State Street weren’t hired based on skill or merit, but their gender and the color of their skin.

“Woke” Doritos Crosses the Line with Offensive New Ad: Old Man Dies and Finds Gay Lover in Heaven

It’s high time that conservatives start waking up to the role that corporations have played in the moral degradation of the Western world.

The countries that used to be governed with a collective sense of Judeo-Christian values have long been under attack by an aggressive secularism that, far from simply seeking to divorce the culture from religion, has replaced our longstanding traditions with a new cult of progressivism.

Will Apple be the last US tech giant left in China?

There was a time when the US tech giants were all in China – even Facebook. Today, Apple’s huge presence in the country looks increasingly conspicuous.

Last week Microsoft, which still operates in China, announced it was to shut down its social network, LinkedIn, there.

The company said having to comply with the Chinese state had become increasingly challenging – so it pulled the plug.

Apple has its own censorship problems in the country.

The BBC reported last week that two popular religious apps had been removed from Apple’s App Store.

Apple takes down Koran app in China

Apple has taken down one of the world’s most popular Koran apps in China, following a request from officials.

Quran Majeed is available across the world on the App Store – and has nearly 150,000 reviews. It is used by millions of Muslims.

The BBC understands that the app was removed for hosting illegal religious texts.

The Chinese government has not responded to the BBC’s request for comment.

The deletion of the app was first noticed by Apple Censorship – a website that monitors apps on Apple’s App Store globally.
