FIRST READING: How Canada spent millions pushing an ideology used to frame Jews as oppressors

The doctrine of ‘anti-racism,’ now mandatory across the federal civil service, holds that Jews have “become white” to benefit from white supremacy

Hamas terrorists were still in the process of pulling Israeli civilians from their homes and executing them when McMaster University associate professor Ameil Joseph wrote on X.com that “postcolonial, anticolonial, and decolonial are not just words you heard in your DEI workshop.”

DEI refers to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, an ideology touting anti-racism and decolonization that has come to define massive swaths of Canadian academia in recent years. And Joseph was far from the only Canadian academic to excuse the mass-murder of more than 1,000 people using words from a DEI glossary.

I was a DEI director — DEI drives campus antisemitism

The blatant antisemitism on college campuses has shocked millions of Americans over the past week and a half.

But not me.

I saw antisemitism on a weekly basis in my two years as a faculty “diversity, equity and inclusion” director.

In fact, I can safely say that toxic DEI ideology deliberately stokes hatred toward Israel and the Jewish people.

WARMINGTON: Toronto Police investigating two of their own for alleged hate social media postings

Toronto Police have all eyes on any hate directed toward the Jewish community right now but did not expect that would include people from within their own ranks.

The police service has been forced to investigate two of its own officers for potential hate material spread on social media.

WARMINGTON: Humber College hosts staff seminars on how to scrub ‘white supremacy’

At Humber College, they actually have an employee program designed to help people with the “unlearning” of their “white skin privilege” and “white supremacy.”

You read it right. Their last meeting was on Thursday.

Why diversity training backfires

A leading researcher has found that ‘DEI’ training actually encourages racial resentment.

Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) training simply doesn’t work. This is the startling verdict recently reached not by opponents of diversity training, but by Mahzarin Banaji, a world-renowned pioneer of research into so-called implicit bias. Writing in the Wall Street Journal, Banaji argues that ‘the typical DEI training doesn’t educate people about bias and may even do harm’.

Crooked cop was crooked & racist because she was fighting racism say supporters

Senior officer pleads guilty in Toronto police promotion cheating scandal

“Thursday’s agreed statement of fact also revealed that, while examining the content of Clarke’s cellphones, investigators came across messages she’d sent to an unnamed civilian member of the service and an unnamed employee of the Toronto police board.

Those messages were “inconsistent with the service’s commitment to anti-racism,” according to the document. No further description of the messages was provided.”

She was racist on account she was fighting racism.

“Promoted in 2020, Clarke is the first Black female superintendent in Toronto police history and has talked about the importance of diversifying police ranks. Her supporters — who’ve regularly tuned in to watch the case online, a group attending in person Thursday — have questioned whether Clarke was unfairly targeted for actions possibly taken to address systemic equity issues; among the officers she provided the answers to were fellow racialized cops.

“We have been saying that, while the allegations may be true, we felt that there was more to it, and we should look at the circumstances that may have contributed to the actions,” said David Betty, president of the Jamaican Canadian Association, who watched Clarke’s plea.

I posted on this last night but Neocon pointed the way to the Star’s version of events which proved much worse.

High School ‘Equity’ Barbarians Hold Modern Day Book Burning – all books written prior to 2008 Banned

‘Empty shelves with absolutely no books’: Students, parents question school board’s library weeding process

… “This year, I came into my school library and there are rows and rows of empty shelves with absolutely no books,” said Takata, who started Grade 10 last week.

She estimates more than 50 per cent of her school’s library books are gone.

In the spring, Takata says students were told by staff that “if the shelves look emptier right now it’s because we have to remove all books [published] prior to 2008.”

Anti-Racist Racism Has Taken Hold at Canada’s Universities

Canada’s progressive movement has embraced an extreme and regressive form of racial “justice”—an unhealthy fixation on race that has prompted controversial, race-based hiring on university campuses. While “anti-racist” activists have been gaining ideological ground in Canada for some time now, the summer 2020 killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was a turning point, reflecting a tremendous surge in their influence.

In the wake of American protests that crossed the northern border, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau dropped a stink bomb into Canadian political discourse, declaring Canada to be a systemically racist country.

Ford gov’s anti-racism plan doubles down on funding for DEI, left-wing groups

Ontario’s Progressive Conservative government has published a new anti-racism strategic plan that doubles down on “diversity, equity and inclusion” (DEI) initiatives and funding for left-wing organizations.

The plan, published on the Government of Ontario’s website on Aug. 24, commits millions of dollars towards anti-racist initiatives and highlights several recent anti-racist policies implemented by Ford’s PCs.

No to the Politics of “Whiteness”

Lincoln statue toppled by antifa Portland

The case against right-wing racialism.

In recent years, I have devoted considerable time to exposing the radical Left’s politics of “whiteness,” which posits that white identity, culture, and power are irredeemably oppressive and must be “abolished” in favor of alternative modes of being. “Whiteness” represents the metaphysical essence of left-wing race politics: an irreducible force of evil, a master synonym for racism, oppression, inequality, and suffocating bourgeois norms; anything saturated with its properties can be automatically categorized and condemned. In practice, the politics of whiteness has translated into the demonization of European-Americans in primary school curricula, the performance of elaborate “white privilege” rituals in the workplace, and outright segregation in many public institutions. All of it is done to solve “the problem of whiteness.”

So we should appeal to the better angels of our nature for guidance and follow the natural rights theory of America’s founders.

Sounds great on paper.

The left will never buy into it.

Media giant Gannett sued by workers over ‘reverse racism’ policy that boosts women and minorities over others

A group of current and former employees of Gannet is suing the media giant, saying they were fired or lost out on promotions to make room for less-qualified women and minorities.

The five staffers say they suffered from the firm’s diversity hiring policy, which was introduced in 2020 to get newsrooms looking more like the communities they served within five years.

It’s the latest in a series of lawsuits and actions to take aim at ‘reverse racism’ in corporate America.

Let’s just rename Toronto DEI Death Camp No. 1

LILLEY: Yonge St., Wellesley, Churchill and more on city renaming list

Are we ready to give up Yonge St. in Toronto? The most famous street in the city is on the list of streets and places that should be considered for renaming.

The same city report that pushed forward the idea of renaming Dundas St. said that there were 60 street names, including 12 named for slave owners, which “are no longer considered to be reflective of the city’s contemporary values.”
