“Support for him, a racist, is support for ALL his beliefs,” Garrison, an Army veteran, tweeted in reference to Trump. “He’s dragging a lot of bad actors (misogynist, extremists, other racists) out into the light, normalizing their actions. If you support the President, you support that.”

Pentagon Requests Blowout Budget To Fight ‘Climate Crisis’ And ‘Extremism’ Among Troops

Funds will be reallocated to bolster “climate resiliency” and invest in clean energy. The request allocates $617 million for ensuring military installations can operate efficiently and recover from infrastructure disruption, R&D for new energy technologies and “climate-informed” wargaming, analysis and contingency planning.

Rooting out the supposed extremism within the military is another focus of the budget, with almost $31 million requested for strengthen tools to “identify and address extremism.”

On June 2, 2019, a German politician was found lying in a pool of blood outside his home in Hesse. He had been shot in the head at close range with a .38 Rossi revolver. Walter Lübcke, the 65-year-old leader of Kassel city council, who had been a vocal supporter of Germany’s immigration policy, had been assassinated by a German member of the British neo-Nazi group Combat 18. On Tuesday, his killer was sentenced to life in prison.

Video Shows U.S. Capitol Police Gave Protesters OK to Enter

The video directly contradicts what government prosecutors allege in a complaint filed January 8 against Chansley: “Robishaw and other officers calmed the protestors somewhat and directed them to leave the area from the same way they had entered. Chansley approached Officer Robishaw and screamed, among other things, that this was their house, and that they were there to take the Capitol, and to get Congressional leaders.”
