U of A scientist co-leads expert U.S. panel on removing carbon from atmosphere

A University of Alberta scientist is sharing her expertise with policy-makers in the United States in hopes of removing atmospheric carbon dioxide on a mass scale.
Associate professor Sasha Wilson and her colleagues, working with the American non-profit Energy Futures Initiative, co-led a panel in December for U.S. congressional staff on how the American government could speed up the use of what are known as mineral carbonation technologies.
Let’s just make carbon illegal.

How Politics is Making Power Failures the Norm

Sadly, as political considerations have increasingly trumped basic physics and engineering, electrical power failures have become more common in the past couple of decades in the United States. The decline in the reliability of the electric power system has coincided with the increasing incorporation of intermittent wind and solar power into electric power networks.
“Acceleration” in Sea-Level Rise Found to Be False – An artifact of Switching Satellites

One of the most common arguments climate alarmists make is that rate of sea-level rise is “accelerating” or rising faster every year.
Sea-level data reported from satellites indicate seas are rising approximately of 3.3 mm/year (See Figure 1). By contrast, tidal stations have recorded a rise of approximately 1 to 2 mm annually, a rate which is little changed over the century or so for which we have adequate records. Indeed, as reported in Climate at a Glance: Sea Level Rise, the oldest tide gauge in the USA, in New York City, shows no acceleration at all going back to 1850.

Mass. Climate ‘Czar’ Said ‘We Have to Break Your Will’ To Blame the People for Needed Tax Increases To Fight Climate Change

There’s a reason I call climate change and global warming crazies watermelons because while they are green on the outside, they are socialist red on the inside. In other words, while they are pontificating and virtue signaling to the rest of us about how they are green and they are for a clean environment what they are really for is socialist policies that will be able to control as many people as humanly possible. Don’t doubt me on this.
‘Incredibly destructive’: Canada’s Prairies to see devastating impact of climate change

Are you ready for the climate lockdowns?

Last week President Biden signed an executive order to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords. This was a mostly symbolic gesture, as the same alarmism being pushed prior to the agreement in 2016 is still being pushed now while nation-states like China are still ignoring it. Now Biden administration climate envoy John Kerry, under fire for boarding a private jet to Iceland to accept a climate award, is telling the United States and the world that the conditions of the Paris agreement are ‘inadequate’.

John Kerry To Gas And Coal Workers: Make ‘Better Choices’ Because Your Jobs Are Going Away
