A series of simple, 15-second ads were released Monday as part of a campaign to raise awareness about racism and to promote inclusion for all Quebecers, but some felt left out by the language used in the videos.
Make no mistake: Wokeness is a religion. It has all the sick hallmarks of a cult, more specifically, but it’s a mainstream one with support from institutional power.
The key to this piece is the semantic creation of a new idea of what racism is. The authors of the article assert that someone can still be a racist and support a black Republican. Obviously, this statement is sheer lunacy, but it shows the depths of insanity to which these people sink.
Moderator Whoopi Goldberg had a spirited conversation with guest host NBC Sports broadcaster Michele Tafoya Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” about how race is taught in America.
During that conversation, Goldberg declared it was time for “white people to step up” to acknowledge racism.
Very well, I acknowledge Whoopi is racist.
As you can see, the University of Washington wants you to be excited and have fun, which you really can’t do absent a lengthy list of rules and guidelines the transgression of any one of which will get you labeled a racist.
When asked which values animate provincial politics, most Albertans continue to describe the dominance of wild west notions, like populism, western alienation, settler colonialism, frontier masculinity, bootstrap individualism, and the primacy of prosperity doctrine (hard work produces wealth).
This becomes clearest when we ask our focus group participants to draw an Albertan who has the most influence over politics in this province. The resulting caricatures most often depict roughnecks, cowboys and farmers. In short, Albertans’ perception of the typical Albertan remains static, gendered, racialized, and rooted in a “wild west” past.
How I despise the CBC.
A CBC News analysis of post-federal election results informs readers of a terrible outcome: 95% of the MPs making up the new Conservative Party caucus are white.
The tone of the report delivers a disconcerting sub-text: this outcome is next-door to criminal. Conveniently, CBC neglect to point out that the Conservatives and NDP ran an equal number of racialized candidates. The crime being that the Conservative candidates didn’t win. Is it any surprise they were decimated by the Liberals?
As I predicted at the top of this weekend’s Mark Steyn Show, just in time for today’s election in Canada Justin Trudeau is back in black. A new photograph has emerged (right) of the Peter Pancake of northern politics in blackface, black arms, black legs, black torso (though no word on whether the banana stuffed down his pants has also been dunked in a vat of Kiwi).
A statue of Confederate commander Robert E. Lee was removed from its base in Richmond, Virginia’s capital, early on Wednesday after a yearlong legal battle over a monument that has been the focus of protests over racial injustice.
I was born and raised in Richmond, Va. This is a terrible desecration of history and heritage. By the way, how many people know that Robert E. Lee wanted to free the slaves?

Merely existing on a college campus these days can feel like you’re walking through a minefield while blindfolded and juggling nine sticks of unstable dynamite. You just never know if you’re going to offend someone by blinking in a culturally appropriative fashion. Thankfully, one school has done the hard work of identifying many things that students simply must avoid saying at all costs.
In a recent article at The Epoch Times, “Erasing, Misrepresenting Canada’s History Erodes Foundations of Society,” a group of well meaning and harmless conservative historians are cited at length expressing concerns about the tearing down of statues, renaming of buildings and streets, and overemphasis on Canada’s “racist past” without an acknowledgement that this nation has been “constantly improving” away from its “racist past”. I don’t wish to speak slightingly of the historians interviewed for this article. They seem sincere in their angst about the obliteration of Canada’s past from the public sphere. But these historians speak from a defeatist standpoint and they readily accept the premises of the “progressive” Left. Their argument is essentially that Canada’s “historical trajectory” can’t be categorized as purely racist since this past eventually produced a non-racist Canada that welcomes millions of nonwhite immigrants. Canada is now a nation of “justice,” “prosperity,” and “equal rights for everyone”.
It appears a sea change is underway across the country, as many Canadians are questioning how and why we choose to commemorate historical figures with controversial legacies.
Former “Empire” actor Jussie Smollett returned to court in Chicago, Illinois, on Wednesday, on renewed charges that he lied to Chicago police about an alleged racist and homophobic attack Smollett said happened outside of his apartment back in January of 2019.
