Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tells pro-Palestinian protesters they are ‘f—ed up’

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez lost her cool with pro-Palestinian protesters on Monday, claiming their tactics were “f—-ed up”.

The Democrat congresswoman, a critic of Israel, was visiting a cinema in New York with Riley Roberts, her fiance, when she was confronted by two activists.

Video footage of the confrontation shows the protesters following Ms Ocasio-Cortez, 34, and complaining she had not publicly called Israel’s invasion of Gaza a “genocide”.

Black organizations bring allegations of racism at Canadian Human Rights Commission to global body

OTTAWA – A coalition of federal unions and organizations representing Black workers has filed an international complaint against the Canadian Human Rights Commission.

The eight organizations say the body that handles human-rights complaints against the federal government is violating global law because of its treatment of Black employees.

Nicholas Marcus Thompson, executive director of the Black Class Action Secretariat, says evidence of systemic discrimination within the commission is “undeniable” and “unacceptable.”

The ‘woke’ mob always eats its own

“ Wokeism ” has been driving the news cycle lately, running the gambit from transgender-endorsed beer, tuck-it swimsuits for children, and a military more worried about diversity, equity, and inclusion (as well as its carbon footprint) than in destroying the enemy. But one interesting byproduct of all this “wokeness” is often either ignored or missed by corporate media: the backlash to people and organizations that go “woke” and then make the “mistake” of course-correcting back to mainstream. It proves something those on the Right have said for years: “The ‘woke’ mob will eventually eat its own.”

Flagged for posting about walrus meat? Social media ‘violations’ discriminatory, says former Nunavut MLA

“My favourite food! Walrus! I would pay anyone to get me some!”

Former Nunavut MLA Manitok Thompson was expressing her excitement on Twitter when the 12-word tweet was flagged for violating the rules.

It was called “excessively graphic media” and Twitter issued a notice saying exposure to gratuitous gore can be harmful, “especially if the content is posted with intent to delight in cruelty or for sadistic pleasure.”

Thompson was in shock. She had to delete her post to remain on the platform.

Nearly 70 Reporters Blast Biden In Letter For Restricting Free Press

A group of about 70 reporters called on the Biden administration to stop restricting the press in an open letter this week.

They said that he has been more restrictive than his predecessor, former President Donald Trump.

Who is really behind the attacks on Kamala Harris? Likely the other woman who would be queen

Imagine what it must have been like for Kamala Harris this past Sunday evening to be scrolling through the newsfeed on her smartphone only to come across what is typically a Democrat’s “reliable source” at CNN and finding the headline: Exasperation and dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris’ frustrating start as vice president, on that team left rag’s landing page. The lengthy piece was very critical of her and her VP team’s role in the current Biden administration. She must have wondered what she had done to find herself suddenly under attack.

California Teachers, Parents Plan Statewide Walkout Over Gov. Newsom’s Vaccine Mandate

California became the first state to require coronavirus vaccines for grades K through 12 to attend in-person classes after Newsom announced the mandate on October 1. The order currently affects students older than 12, and it will affect children aged 5 to 11 once the vaccine gets final federal approval. Newsom’s plan impacts both public and private schools and also includes exemptions for religious and medical reasons.

Staff and teachers are also required to get the vaccine or submit to testing under the mandate.

Hee hee. This completely sabotages the leftist belief that the vax mandate resistance was a right wing narrative.

Biden’s Long Trail of Betrayals

“I’m getting sick and tired of hearing about morality, our moral obligation,” Joe Biden said in 1975. “There’s a point where you are incapable of meeting moral obligations that exist worldwide.” At the time, he was arguing against U.S. aid to Cambodia. But he could just as easily have said the same about his decision this year to end the American presence in Afghanistan, a catastrophic mistake that has led to a Taliban takeover, undermined our national interest, and morally stained Biden’s presidency.

It is the latest blunder in a foreign-policy record filled with them.

This is an article from lefty rag The Atlantic. The knives are out.

‘Choose your words carefully’: Feminist law professor shares sinister letter warning her ‘gender critical’ talks have been ‘identified’ as ‘problematic’ to the trans community

A radical feminist law professor who was cancelled amid allegations of transphobia has revealed that she received a ‘passive aggressive’ email from a University of Reading student who called her views on gender politics ‘problematic’ and warned her to ‘choose her words carefully’.

Human rights lawyer Rosa Freedman, who does not believe men can become women by surgery, shared images of a letter from Alex Wareham in which he says he is working with professors to ‘identify problematic areas within the university which is (sic) holding it back from equality’.

Mr Wareham says he intends to discuss the University of Reading lecturer and her ”gender critical’ talks’ but would ‘prefer to talk to you personally about this issue and your opinion on trans rights’ rather than ‘sum up your feelings from a few talks, twitter threads, emails, and press coverage’.
