Trump Threatens to Sue Pulitzer Committee for Awarding Russian Collusion Coverage

Former President Donald Trump sent a letter last week threatening to sue the Pulitzer Committee if they do not withdraw prizes given to journalists from The New York Times and the Washington Post.

In a May 27 letter to Pulitzer Prize administrator Marjorie Miller, Trump threatened to sue the Pulitzer Prize Board if it did not rescind the awards it gave to New York Times and Washington Post for publishing “false and fabricated” allegations that the Trump campaign and administration colluded with Russian entities.

Sussmann found not guilty in blow to John Durham’s investigation

Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann was found not guilty Tuesday on the false statements charge of concealing his representation of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign from the FBI when he pushed since debunked Trump-Russia claims to the bureau in 2016.

The verdict is a significant loss for John Durham’s investigation of the investigators, with the special counsel losing the first case that he has brought to trial.

The Left Dominates the Legal System, and They’re Taking Down GOP Election Attorneys en Masse

The day after the 2020 presidential election, I predicted the left was going to target any attorney who dared to get involved challenging election fraud. They’d already started successfully targeting conservative attorneys, it just hadn’t gotten much attention yet. Since most people are bored by legal issues, they fly under the radar. I wrote about it over a year ago, and things have gotten far worse since then. This year, they launched “The 65 Project” to brazenly accomplish it, named after the 65 lawsuits Trump-affiliated attorneys filed after the election.

The Sussmann Trial Is a Window on Comey’s Clown Show

It shows the FBI’s top brass to be partisan dolts.

The Michael Sussmann trial has shed light on the partisan clown show James Comey ran at the FBI. The trial so far is not an indictment of the FBI’s little fish — the nonpartisan agents in the trenches who suspected Sussmann’s Trump-Russia yarn was nonsense — but the big fish, Comey’s liberal leadership on the 7th floor of the FBI. It has come out in the trial that an FBI supervisor wrote a lower agent: “People on the 7th floor to include Director are fired up about this server” — a reference to Sussmann’s claim that a secret channel existed between the Trump Organization and a Kremlin-linked bank.

FBI agent testifies he’s under investigation for withholding evidence in Trump-Russia probe

FBI agent Curtis Heide testified in court Tuesday that he is currently the subject of an internal investigation into allegations that he withheld key evidence from an application to surveil a figure in the bureau’s probe into former President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

Mr. Heide took the stand in U.S. District Court in Washington in the criminal trial of former Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann. The FBI agent said that others in the bureau are also being investigated, but he did not say how many or what positions they hold.

It is the first time anyone associated with the FBI has confirmed that an internal probe into agents’ handling of its Trump-Russia collusion investigation is ongoing.

Hillary Clinton’s sordid legacy of lies

Proving that what’s old is new again, here is how the late William Safire began his New York Times column of Jan. 8, 1996:

“Americans of all political persuasions are coming to the sad realization that our First Lady — a woman of undoubted talents who was a role model for many in her generation — is a congenital liar.

“Drip by drip, like Whitewater torture, the case is being made that she is compelled to mislead, and to ensnare her subordinates and friends in a web of deceit.”

Trump Responds to Clinton Campaign Manager’s Courtroom Bombshell: ‘One of the Greatest Political Scandals in History’

Former President Donald Trump responded angrily to the revelation that 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton approved the spread of a false allegation that the Trump campaign had links to a Russian bank.

On Friday, former Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook said Clinton approved sharing information linking Trump to Alfa Bank. The comment came during the trial of Michael Sussman, an attorney who has been accused of making a false statement to the FBI when he tried to interest the agency in the alleged connection.

Professor Turley Says ‘Voldemort-like’ Hillary Will Avoid Responsibility in Durham Probe

George Washington University law professor and self-proclaimed liberal Jonathan Turley said Friday on Fox News’ “Special Report” that Hillary Clinton will probably avoid “direct responsibility” in the Durham probe because of her “Voldemort-like status.”

Hillary Clinton lawyer ‘lied to the FBI’ on behalf of her campaign and wanted to spark an ‘October Surprise’ to embarrass Trump as voters headed to the polls, prosecutors say on first day of Durham’s Russia probe trial

The first trial to emerge from Special Counsel John Durham’s probe finally got underway Tuesday – as prosecutors accused former Hillary Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann of trying to engineer an ‘October surprise’ when he sought out a top FBI official to discuss an allegation about Trump and Russia.

The allegation didn’t pan out, but the meeting itself constituted an effort to ‘use and manipulate’ federal law enforcement for political ends, prosecutors argued.

Biden Admin Researched Trump ‘Ultra MAGA’ Insult For Six Months

The Washington Post reported that last week that President Joe Biden coined the new phrase during a speech, adding that the president and his advisers spent six months on a research project to rebrand Trump’s 2016 campaign slogan, “Make America Great Again,” as an insult to his supporters and Republicans in general by adding the term “ultra.”

But the term has since been reappropriated by conservatives and the former president’s supporters as a term of endearment, essentially rendering the phrase moot in terms of political capital for Democrats.

Former FBI Agent May Be Prosecuted Over Lies About Trump Investigation

The falsehoods that former FBI agent Peter Strzok told about the government’s investigation into former President Donald Trump points to potential legal trouble, according to Kash Patel.

“I think he’s got big trouble when it comes to, from a prosecution perspective,” Patel said on his EpochTV show “Kash’s Corner.”

Patel, a former federal prosecutor who helped uncover the origins of sketchy claims about Trump, reached the conclusion after reviewing newly released notes taken during a 2017 meeting.

One lie that hides an enormous conspiracy: Inside the trial that exposes Clinton’s plot to slander Trump

Special Counsel John Durham appears to have methodically built a case of historic consequence. It’s just not the case he has brought against bigshot Democratic Party lawyer Michael Sussmann.

Jury selection begins in Sussmann’s trial on Monday, in Washington, DC. It will be the first trial to arise out of the Russiagate probe, which began over three years ago. That’s when former Trump Attorney General Bill Barr assigned Durham, a longtime Justice Department prosecutor from Connecticut, to investigate how, in the middle of a heated presidential campaign and based upon scant evidence, the FBI came to suspect one of the candidates of being a clandestine agent of the Kremlin — to the point of opening counterintelligence and criminal investigations targeting Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign.

London Mayor Sadiq Khan Hopes Trump Has ‘Learned His Lesson’

Stanford University, where the administration worked actively to engineer a student walkout when I spoke there in 2017, is on the warpath against the freedom of speech these days. In April, Barack Obama spoke there and called for restrictions on speech to combat “disinformation.” On Wednesday, the far-Left mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, made his own appearance at Stanford, where he claimed that “the worst thing globalization has brought to social media is the proliferation of hate speech.” What’s hate speech? Anything Obama, Khan and their allies dislike. And the person they dislike most in the world is Donald Trump; Khan is worried about what could happen if Elon Musk allows Trump to return to Twitter.

Fox News Is Headed For Disaster

Fox News has been on a collision course with its own audience since the stolen 2020 election — and you can almost feel the impact coming. The network has made so many dumb bets lately that it’s like watching a busload of trailer park residents get offloaded to play the nickel slots in Reno. All you can do is shake your head as you think: I know they’re all going bankrupt, and they’re already bankrupt. It’s been perfectly obvious for years now that Rupert Murdoch and his feckless sons turned against President Trump and actually helped Joe Biden — which is not just unforgivable. It’s unsustainable.
