Google accused of systematically sending RNC fundraising emails to spam file

The Republican National Committee is accusing Google of suppressing critical fundraising and get-out-the-vote emails “like clockwork” at the end of each month, adding to GOP concerns that Big Tech is putting its thumb on the scale to benefit Democrats in the midterm elections.

The company has offered no explanation. Earlier this year, Google said it took steps to keep campaign emails out of junk mail files.

Twitter employees eye the exits after Musk takeover

Twitter employees are less than satisfied with Elon Musk’s decision to reverse course and follow through with his acquisition of the platform, likely leading to staff attrition.

Several employees posted critically about the decision by Musk to offer to go through with his purchase of Twitter. The decision arrived after months of employee attrition and concerns from staff about the billionaire’s vision to overhaul the platform with a focus on free speech, a vision that was only made more evident through the legal proceedings from Twitter’s lawsuit against him.

Good riddance.

Ghoulish NYT Suggests Florida Deserves Hurricanes for Not Supporting Climate Agenda

Proving that the paper isn’t worthy to line a birdcage, The New York Times ran a disgusting and hateful piece Tuesday night suggesting that because Florida Republicans Governor Ron DeSantis, and Senators Marco Rubio and Rick Scott won’t go along with the Democrat Party’s radical agenda to fight “climate change”, the state somehow deserved to be ravaged by Hurricane Ian and that the leaders were somehow personally responsible for the destruction and loss of life.

Arrests are ‘futile’ to curb crime, B.C.’s attorney general says

More arrests are “futile,” British Columbia’s attorney general says as he rebuffed criticism of government policies on repeat offenders and violent crime across the province.

Murray Rankin told the legislature on Tuesday that increasing arrests is not the answer to battle crime.

His statement comes despite a recent government-commissioned report citing police and probation officers saying repeat offenders “are emboldened to continue offending, deteriorating community confidence in the justice system.”

The US’s decision to send more military aid to Ukraine “increases the danger of a direct military clash” between Russia and the West, Moscow has warned.

DeSantis blasts ‘illegal alien’ looters after Hurricane Ian in Florida

Most of the heartless looters busted in hurricane-ravaged Florida were illegal immigrants, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced Tuesday — as he said he’d like to “drag them out by the collars” and “send them back to where they came from.”

“We’ve had four looters that were arrested … and they need to be brought to justice,” the tough gov said during an update on the devastation from historic Hurricane Ian.

Crazy old racist Steve Phillips says Whiteness poses the greatest threat to US democracy … blames Trump!

People forget that championing whiteness is what makes Trump powerful

Steve Phillips – Crazy Old Racist

A growing chorus of voices is warning that our democracy is in grave danger, but there is much less discussion of the exact nature of the threat. Recently, President Biden emphasized the severity of the threat by going to the place where the constitution was signed to give what the White House described as “a speech on the continued battle for the soul of the nation”.

How come these racists never discuss Black crime let alone Black on Black crime? Or Black abortion rates? Or Black fatherlessness? Anyone?

He’s gonna be mad at the Latinos next…

GUNTER: Theresa Tam’s self-serving claim about saving nearly 800,000 lives

I’m surprised Theresa Tam, Canada’s chief public health officer, didn’t suffer a grade-four shoulder separation giving herself such a congratulatory pat on her own back.

Tam, with help from staff at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), has written a report giving her agency credit for saving nearly 800,000 Canadian lives and preventing nearly two million admissions to Canadian hospitals with the pandemic-fighting measures they have taken over the past two-and-a-half years – masks, social distancing, vaccine mandates.
