Biden’s Vaccination Mandate: Where Are the Regulations?

The Human Resource order comes down to you with ferocity: get the vaccine or lose your office access and eventually your job. You are stunned. You had heard that the Biden administration was favoring this but your company has only 150 employees and it lives entirely within the private sector. Surely this cannot be right. Surely there is a way to fight back. Maybe a lawsuit against the mandate is in order.

The HR department says it is only following federal guidelines. So you look for them. You look again and again. Somehow nothing turns up. You can find plenty of statements by Biden and administration spokespeople. You can find hundreds of news stories about the impending regulation. There is no shortage of blustering talk.

What you cannot find is an executive order from the Biden administration. You can find no directive at all. How can something be challenged that doesn’t actually seem to exist?

Want your driver’s licence? You’ll need to be vaxxed or show proof of a negative COVID-19 test

The new COVID-19 policy will take effect on Oct. 25, Saskatchewan Government Insurance (SGI) announced on Thursday morning.

“Providing proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is now standard practice to access many businesses, services, and venues,” said Penny McCune, chief operating officer for SGI’s Auto Fund. “This will improve safety for our customers and employees.”

The CDC has verified there is vaccinated asymptomatic transmission. Nothing make sense anymore.

Trudeau’s vaccine mandate is unconcerned with civil liberties or science

Federal workers will have to get vaccinated against COVID-19 or risk losing their jobs, thanks to a new edict from Justin Trudeau’s government, which is also requiring people to get vaccinated to board a plane or a train. These measures undeniably violate the right of individuals to make their own medical choices by threatening employment and mobility rights, so The Andrew Lawton Show assembled an expert panel to discuss this mandate, and some of the broader themes connected to vaccine passports and civil liberties.

Kamala Harris gets ‘repackaged’ and now looks cringier than ever

Two weeks ago, Kamala Harris hired a “crisis communications expert,” to create a new image for her. She needed a “rebranding” it seems, to paper over her failures. Her stints as border surge czar and voting czar weren’t going over well with the public. Her staff flight and toxic work environment continued her downward trajectory. The taxpayers would pay, of course, for this bid to get her poll numbers up, but who was counting?

At the Heart of Our Divisions: Socialism is immoral—and it makes us hate one another.

We didn’t need a new poll from The University of Virginia Center for Politics and Project Home Fire to tell us that many Democrats see fascists when they look at Republicans and many Republicans see Communists when they look at Democrats. Forty-one percent of Biden voters and 52 percent of Trump voters at least somewhat agree that the time has come to split the country into red and blue states. There is a widespread feeling on both sides that we are not friends but enemies. All this, we could have guessed.

Critical Race Theory’s new disguise

A rebranded campaign for ‘equity’ is just as divisive

Does “critical race theory” (CRT) really exist? Not according to Ralph Northam, the Governor of Virginia. CRT, he recently told The New York Times, “is a dog whistle that the Republicans are using to frighten people. What I’m interested in is equity.”

But rather than convince anyone about the non-existence of CRT, his comments merely confirmed something else: namely, CRT’s remarkable ability to shape-shift into whatever form its advocates choose. For Northam, CRT might not exist — but that’s only because it has undergone a rebranding.

Do women not have rights on campus? Bristol University Students’ Union has banned our women-only society.

A month into my PhD at the University of Bristol, the students’ union voted for a blanket ban on ‘TERF’ speakers – that is, ‘trans-exclusionary radical feminists’ – on campus. The chilling effect of this was soon felt by myself and other feminists on campus. I never said I was a radical feminist, but that didn’t matter. What mattered to the wannabe despots at Bristol was that people like me were stepping out of line.
