Spy agencies reopen ‘racist’ internship that bans white Britons

007 meets DEI administrator

Britain’s intelligence services have re-opened a summer internship scheme to which white participants cannot apply.

Started in 2023, the MI5, MI6 and GCHQ Summer Intelligence Internship attracted criticism last year, when it was labelled “racist”.

It was offered only to young people from a “Black, Asian, mixed heritage or ethnic minority background and from a socially or economically disadvantaged background”.

Conrad Black: Putin’s Cavalier Rejection of Trump’s Overtures Will End Badly for Russia

It is about to become obvious that Russian President Vladimir Putin has committed an error of historic proportions in unleashing an aggressive war on Ukraine and provocatively ignoring the Trump administration’s genuine efforts to give Russia a way to withdraw from this barbarous misadventure with something to show for it.

Online Muslim preacher Mohammed Hegab who ‘whipped up mob’ loses libel claim

One of Britain’s leading Muslim online preachers has lost a libel case after a judge ruled an article which portrays him as a “street agitator” who whips up mobs is substantially true.

Mohammed Hegab, who has 1.3 million YouTube subscribers under the name Mohammed Hijab, complained about an article published in The Spectator magazine.

The article by Douglas Murray, headlined “Leicester and the downside with diversity”, began with the observation that “if you import the world’s people you import the world’s problems”. It referred to videos that Hegab had filmed of clashes between Muslims and Hindus in Leicester and of speeches to his supporters in London and at anti-Israeli protests.

Spirit of Ernst Rohm said to be hugely disappointed at reversal

OTTAWA — Less than a week after organizers of Montreal’s pride parade barred Jewish groups from participating, officials have made an about-face.

On Tuesday, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA) announced that Jews would be permitted once again to participate in the annual celebration on Sunday, one day after the chair of the board of Fierte Montreal tendered his resignation

Conservatives slam Liberal EV mandate as out of touch with Canadians

Conservative MPs are calling on the federal government to scrap its electric vehicle (EV) sales mandate, accusing the Liberals of ignoring consumer demand and pushing forward with policies that are unaffordable and impractical for most Canadians.

In a joint statement released Tuesday, Raquel Dancho, Shadow Minister for Industry, and Ellis Ross, Shadow Minister for Environment and Climate Change, criticized the Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) mandate as “flawed” and “ideological,” arguing it will hurt jobs, investment, and consumer choice.

41 Planned Parenthood Facilities And Counting Set To Close As Trump Defunds Abortion Giant

After President Donald Trump signed a bill into law ending taxpayer funding for abortionists through Medicaid, 41 Planned Parenthood locations are already closed or are set to, with as many as 200 overall potentially shuttering.

Upon the threat of losing their federal funding after Trump signed the “big beautiful bill,” the abortion giant sued, insisting that it had a constitutional right to taxpayer dollars in order to kill unborn babies.

A New Era in France: Man Sentenced to Prison for Burning a Qur’an

It’s a story that one might expect to come out of Tehran or Lahore. Instead, it comes from Lyon, France. The French-language CNews reported that “a man was sentenced this Wednesday by the Lyon Criminal Court to one year in prison for burning a Quran in front of a mosque in Villeurbanne (Rhône) last June.”

This had been a long time in the offing, and now it’s happening with increasing frequency. For years, Western governments refrained from crossing the line and levying criminal charges against someone for violating Islamic blasphemy laws. Then in Britain in June, a Turkish dissident, Hamit Coskun, was fined for burning a Qur’an. And now this.

What It Takes to Win a Parental Rights Case in Canada

Alberta-based lawyer James Kitchen has been litigating for years. As a self-described libertarian lawyer focused on human rights and individual freedoms, he has taken on cases involving issues such as freedom of expression, Charter challenges, and parental rights.

For him, it has become an increasingly uphill battle. He says that although parental rights are protected by law, Canada’s justice system has become “highly politicized,” creating a gap between the legal reality and what the law states on paper.

Another year, another season of failed hurricane predictions from the NOAA

NOAA, the “experts,” predicted an “above-normal” hurricane season this year. Of course they predict that every year, and the public has been told for decades that humans and our use of natural resources is the cause of increased activity.

After Hurricane Katrina, the public was told that hurricanes would be more numerous and active than ever. Instead hurricane activity was extremely calm for ten years after Katrina. It was a record low for hurricanes.

The hilarious breakdown of the Islamo-left alliance

With growing tensions between socially conservative Muslims and progressive liberals, what is the future of their traditional alliance on the British left? If events of the past week are anything to go by, the answer appears to be that there isn’t one.

This uneasy marriage got a reality check last week when a Green Party councillor and practising Muslim, Mothin Ali, appeared reluctant to sign a set of ‘pledges’ on behalf of the LGBTQIA+ Greens, Feminist Greens and other similar groups. The MP for Blackburn, ‘Gaza Independent’ Adnan Hussain, then waded into the debate. ‘It’s no secret that Muslims tend to be socially conservative’, Hussain said. ‘Is there a space on the left to create a broad enough church to allow Muslims an authentic space, just as it does other minority groups?’

Netanyahu will win the war in Gaza, but he’s lost it in London, Ottawa, and Washington

There were always two fronts to the war in Gaza. The first and obvious was the ground war: the mission to destroy Hamas and retrieve the hostages kidnapped on Oct. 7. The IDF has simultaneously carried out operations to decapitate Israel’s other enemies: an enormously sophisticated pager attack in Lebanon where devices carried by Hezbollah’s top brass were suddenly detonated, and a 12-day attack on Iran that took out the regime’s top military officials, its nuclear scientists, and, with assistance from the U.S., its nuclear infrastructure.

Netanyahu takes the heat while winning the war. Later he’s replaced by a more palatable pol. Seems a good plan.

Now haters are going after Sydney Sweeney’s DOG as they call the German Shepherd a ‘Nazi pet’

Sydney Sweeney has been slammed for saying she has ‘great jeans’ in a new American Eagle ad campaign.

Some saw ‘great jeans’ to be a remark on her genetic background which is mixed European ancestry. The move was branded ‘Nazi propaganda’ by woke critics.

Now haters are going after her darling pet.

Irish Lawyers Blame Mass Migration for Homelessness Crisis

An Irish lawyers’ group knows what the true root cause of the housing crisis in Ireland is: mass illegal migration.

While activists are riling up anger against Airbnb, Lawyers for Justice Ireland (LFJI) insists that there is a more sinister reason underlying the ongoing Irish housing crisis, one that the leftist government deliberately fueled: mass migration. In recent years, major demonstrations against illegal immigration and its deleterious effect on Ireland have highlighted the growing anger over the government’s insistence on moving in hordes of foreigners, many of them Muslims, who have no interest in assimilating.

ALBERS: What independence could be like for Joe and Jill Albertan

In recent weeks, I’ve found myself wrestling with an all-too-familiar irritation: taxes. Not the paying of them — which is a civic duty — but the monstrous, ever-expanding burden of them. We Canadians have long accepted that our governments dip deeply into our pockets because, we told ourselves, the returns were worth it. Roads. Healthcare. Security. Civilization itself.
