Putin calls Canadian parliament’s applause of Nazi veteran ‘disgusting’

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday called the Canadian parliament’s standing ovations to honour a Ukrainian war veteran who served in one of Adolf Hitler’s Waffen SS units “disgusting” and said it showed Moscow was right to “de-Nazify” Ukraine.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau last month formally apologized after the speaker of the House of Commons praised a Nazi veteran in the chamber while Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was present.

Legal cocaine is coming, this Canadian startup predicts

A startup just listed on the Canadian Securities Exchange with a business model based on a provocative prediction: legal cocaine is coming.

Safe Supply Streaming Co. is betting on a so-called third wave of policy changes that would decriminalize hard drugs, following similar measures making cannabis and psychedelics more mainstream. It plans to acquire companies that could benefit, such as fentanyl test-strip makers, addiction clinics and energy drinks containing coca leaf, according to chief executive Bill Panagiotakapoulos.

Trudeau’s Deepening Political Decline

Is luck running out for Justin Trudeau? After years of defying political gravity, the laws of physics, and his own errors, might be beginning to catch up with the Canadian leader.

According to an Eksos poll released on September 24, Trudeau’s Liberals are trailing new opposition leader Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives by 19 points, 42 percent to 23 percent – the largest margin reported for any party in any poll in 18 years. While that result may be something of an outlier, the polling average on 338.com, a Canadian polling aggregator, has the Conservatives ahead by 9 percent and set to win a majority for the first time in 12 years.

Trudeau Liberals among the world’s most radically environmentalist governments

Canada under Justin Trudeau and the Liberals is being a climate Boy Scout. Or Puritan. Or cultish fundamentalist. Take your pick.

Under the former Kyoto accord, which Canada withdrew from more than a decade ago, we were also the only country to self-impose stringent binding emissions targets until, thankfully, former prime minister Stephen Harper and his Conservative government backed out.

Eyewitness report a Mexican cartel island crawling with gang members … in Texas

In the early dawn’s orange glow, a Texas Rangers commander briefs a heavily armed invasion force.

They’re preparing to seize a remote, 170-acre Mexican cartel-controlled island in the middle of the Rio Grande River overlooked by sniper nests and potentially booby-trapped.

Some of the dozens of assembled men shift from one foot to another or reposition their M-4 rifles as they listen to their commanders’ instructions.

CBC attempts to make the insane demand of cross dressing men to be called women a big issue in the CPC

Pierre Poilievre’s inner circle divided over how to tackle gender issues, sources say

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre’s advisers are divided on the position the party should take on issues of gender identity and diversity, multiple Conservative sources told Radio-Canada.

While some Conservatives see questions of gender and identity as matters of principle, or as opportunities to make political gains, others fear that the polarizing issue could turn some voters against them in the next election campaign and distract from the pocketbook issues that have been the focus of Poilievre’s messaging.

Radio-Canada spoke with about ten Conservatives anonymously, to allow them to express themselves freely.

It’s not a polarising issue among normal people, to suggest otherwise is just CBC projection.

Don’t forget that the CBC supports pedophilia.

Men are not women.

“Gender affirming health care” is a crime. See how easy that is?

Biden criticized for waiving 26 laws in Texas to allow border wall construction

Joe Biden faced intense criticism from environmental advocates, political opponents and his fellow Democrats after the president’s administration waived 26 federal laws to allow border wall construction in south Texas, its first use of a sweeping executive power that was often employed under Donald Trump.

“A border wall is a 14th-century solution to a 21st-century problem,” the Democratic Texas congressman Henry Cuellar said. “It will not bolster border security in Starr county.

The International Day of Persecuting Palestinian Journalists

September 26 marked the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian Journalists. As in previous years, anti-Israel organizations used the occasion to make false and libelous accusations against Israel, including the lie that Israelis intentionally target Palestinian journalists.

Israel, needless to say, does not target any journalist. Journalists who choose to cover a violent conflict can often find themselves caught in a crossfire. If journalists are killed or injured, that is not because the Israeli army ordered its soldiers to target them. It is because the journalists were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Every journalist who steps into a war zone is aware of the risks involved.

STUDY: PBS NewsHour Gives 90% of Its Time to the Radical Left on LGBT Issues

One of the most ignored passages in legislative history is this phrase in the Public Broadcasting Act of 1967: Taxpayer-funded media outlets should observe “strict adherence to objectivity and balance in all programs or series of programs of a controversial nature.”

Yet a new Media Research Center study finds PBS’s flagship NewsHour program aired nine times more coverage in favor of the left-wing “woke” position on so-called “LGBTQ” issues compared to more traditional positions. Over the seven-month period of March 1 through September 30, 2023, supportive coverage almost wholly dominated the “debate,” if you could call it that: 172 minutes for the left vs. 19 minutes for the right. That’s 90.2% supportive coverage for the side pushing “identity” issues.
