ISIS-supporting drill rapper Al-Arfat Hassan bought chemicals for terrorist bomb attack to kill 1,000 in central London helped by a 15-year-old fan, court hears

A drill rapping ISIS supporter purchased chemicals and planned to launch a bomb attack against non-believers in central London, helped by a 15-year old fan of his music, a court has heard.

Al-Arfat Hassan, 20, from Enfield, North London and the teenager, from Roundhay, Leeds, were said to have shared a ‘hatred’ of disbelievers who were regarded as enemies of Muslims and were to be ‘attacked and slaughtered.’

Diaspora groups join calls for public inquiry on foreign interference

A day after embattled special rapporteur David Johnston defended his approach to investigating foreign interference before a parliamentary committee, multiple Chinese Canadian diaspora groups say he should have consulted them and are calling for a public inquiry.

“Mr. Johnston’s report is a huge disappointment,” said Gloria Fung, president of the Canada-Hong Kong Link, during a joint news conference with other diaspora groups organized by the Bloc Québécois.

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet said Johnston has failed to reach out to the diaspora organizations.

So long as it’s not the Xi Jinping Admiration Society.

York Catholic school protest takes hostile turn

Students at a number of Catholic schools in York Region in the Greater Toronto Area held walkouts Thursday to demonstrate against the board’s recent decision not to fly the Pride flag outside of their headquarters during Pride month. But at one school, those protests took an unexpected turn.

Dozens of students participated in the walkout at St. Brother Andre in Markham.

“Everyone has a right to love who they want to love and I believe the York District Catholic School Board has infringed upon that,” said student Angelina Martin.

First I heard that failure to raise a flag is an infringement of your rights but over the top dramatics have long been the MO of groomers. They are so self-important the entire world is against them, 24/7. I don’t know how I find time to sleep at all!

There is video of the school protest at the link above, I am wondering if the students who trashed the groomer banners were Muslim or a Mix. It seems a closely held secret.

Note the mix of protesters in Ottawa in the video below. The alliance of Muslims and Christians against the groomers got its start in the US and it is scaring the bejeebers out of the left. This is not the intersectionality they had hoped for.

Well at least he had an answer.

Voters flock to the AfD in search of energy realism

Germany’s mainstream parties are stuck in an old ideology

During a press conference in March, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz promised that the green transition will lead to growth rates last seen during the economic miracle of the 1950s. During that decade, the West German economy grew by 8% per annum, outperforming all of Europe and most of the world. As we now know, at the time of Scholz’s speech the economy was already in recession, and based on current forecasts Germany could well be the only G7 nation with a contracting economy this year.

Jerome Gessaroli: Liberals’ war on cars harms low-income Canadians

A growing number of Canadians are finding it increasingly challenging to maintain their standard of living, with more and more people struggling just to afford basic necessities.

Even though a range of contributing factors — such as rising commodity prices, or supply disruptions due to the war in Ukraine — are beyond our government’s control, Canadians nonetheless hold the belief and expectation that any actions or interventions taken by the government will lessen the burdens we face. Unfortunately, too often government policies often have the opposite effect and financially burden Canadians further.

It’s a war designed to impoverish us.

Washington judge orders female-only spa with compulsory nudity to admit guys who want to wag their willies at women

Still has his dick guy.

A women’s spa, where nudity is compulsory, has been ordered by a judge to admit pre-op trans women with penises after an activist complained when the owner tried to ban them.

Olympus Spa had attempted to sue the Washington State Human Rights Commission (WSHRC) after being ordered to change their rules.

Trans woman Haven Wilvich’s membership application for the Korean spa was declined. She alleged the spa told her ‘transgender women without surgery are not welcome’ and complained to the commission.

Stunning UFO crash retrieval allegations deemed ‘credible,’ ‘urgent’

According to explosive reporting, the powerful internal investigative body that oversees the nation’s intelligence agencies found a whistleblower’s claims of an illegal government UFO crash retrieval and exploitation effort to be “credible and urgent.” To eliminate potential ambiguity regarding such an extraordinary development, a knowledgeable source confirmed to me that the intelligence community inspector general found “allegations that there is a [UFO crash retrieval] program [to be] urgent and credible.”

For True Inclusivity School Boards Should Only Promote the Canadian Flag

York Catholic District School Board’s (YCDSB) decision not to fly the pride flag this June is the right decision. It should be the same for all public schools, and all government and municipal properties. Why?

For the simple reason that the only flags that truly represent all Ontarians without controversy are Canadian, provincial, or applicable municipal flags.

Homeless encampments are growing again in Toronto, as the city faces a surging crisis

The number of homeless encampments in Toronto is once again on the rise, after falling last year to a quarter of their footprint during the pandemic.

With twice as many camps this May as there were a year prior, it represents another symptom of the city’s deepening homelessness crisis.

Chow’s lead slips, Bailao’s support jumps up: Mainstreet poll

Ana Bailao has gained ground in the race for mayor of Toronto as support for frontrunner Olivia Chow has slipped this week, according to a new poll released on Friday morning.

If the election was held today, 29 per cent of decided voters would cast their ballots for Chow while 20 per cent would choose Bailao.

Sadly for Toronto that’s about as good as the news gets. We can hope someone, anyone gains enough momentum to stop Chow. Remember her “overwhelming” polling lead vanished last time she ran. The more people learned about her the more they backed away. Nothing has changed with Chow. Jack Layton she ain’t.

Saunders calls on other candidates to support him to ‘stop Chow’

Mayoral candidate Mark Saunders on Thursday urged others who are running to get in line behind him in order to “stop Olivia Chow,” but the appeal is drawing little enthusiasm.

With less than three weeks left in the election, Saunders issued a press release Thursday, calling for “unity” and claiming that “a vote for any other candidate is a vote for Chow.”

To me Saunders simply lacks curb appeal but Ford’s non-endorsement-endorsement may have killed any hope of a win.

I can’t see any of the “right” candidates dropping out, mainly because only Furey can be called “right”. The rest are like Saunders “Lesser Chows.”
