IN-DEPTH: RCMP Shares New Details on Pipeline Attacks by ‘Anarchist’ Protesters

The RCMP has shared new information regarding masked, axe-wielding protesters who descended on a Coastal GasLinks pipeline worksite in Houston, British Columbia, in February last year.

The RCMP has not yet made arrests—and has said little about the investigation since—but Chief Supt. John Brewer told The Epoch Times recently that they have suspects and they have been building up strong evidence against them for more than a year in the hopes of presenting “the best investigative package” to ensure a likely conviction.

Duisburg Stabbing: The alleged perpetrator could be described as about 30 years old with a ‘southern appearance’

BERLIN (AP) — Four people were severely wounded in a stabbing attack at a gym in the western German city of Duisburg, police said Tuesday evening.

No arrests were announced, and police said they were seeking one suspect. The motive of the attack was not immediately clear.

The incident occurred in the old city of Duisburg and police asked residents to stay at home and avoid the area. They said a large number of officers were at the scene of the attack, right across from the city hall.

“Southern Appearance” is code for “African/Middle Eastern” etc.

Canadians Skeptical of Climate Change Policies, Concerned About Added Financial Burdens: Report

Canadians who took part in a federal focus-group research study were skeptical about the government’s climate change policies, saying they would add financial burdens to households but do little to reduce emissions.

“It was felt that many federal actions such as the introduction of a federal price on carbon had placed too much of a financial burden on the individual and that not enough focus was being devoted to reducing the emissions of large businesses and corporations,” said the resulting report, titled “Continuous Qualitative Data Collection Of Canadians’ Views.”

Twitter removes policy against deadnaming transgender people

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — Twitter has quietly removed a policy against the “targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals,” raising concerns that the Elon Musk-owned platform is becoming less safe for marginalized groups.

Twitter enacted the policy against deadnaming, or using a transgender person’s name before they transitioned, as well as purposefully using the wrong gender for someone as a form of harassment, in 2018.

Justin Trudeau and a list of vacations that got him in trouble

The Trudeau family loves its holidays.

Of course, we all do. But most of us aren’t taking holidays that land us in the soup.

The most recent one, according to a CBC report published Monday, was that Justin Trudeau and his family — plus the assorted cadre of staff and bodyguards — travelled to Jamaica last year to stay at a luxurious resort owned by Peter Green, who also happens to be a donor to the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.

Policies and promises have done nothing to make housing affordable

Opinion: We also learned last month that Canada’s five biggest banks are helping to keep house listings at record lows.

Back in 2015 and 2016, home prices in Vancouver and Toronto skyrocketed to record highs. Much of the attention was on foreign wealth being parked in real estate. Housewives and students were buying multi-million-dollar homes in Vancouver.

Yes, They’re Coming for Your Burgers

“All food is not created equal,” New York City mayor Eric Adams inscrutably intoned this week. “The vast majority of food that is contributing to our emission crisis lies in meat and dairy products.” This indictment accompanied the mayor’s efforts to extirpate animal proteins from city-run facilities, where “meat is increasingly missing from the menu,” according to the New York Times.

Adams’s boosterism for a “plant-powered diet” supplements his efforts to expand a program he inherited from former mayor Bill de Blasio, which is now designed to reduce the city’s carbon footprint by 33 percent in 2030 by cutting back on protein purchases. Adams scolded his fellow environmentalists for devoting most of their carbon-cutting efforts to curbing the combustion of fossil fuels. “But we now have to talk about beef,” he insisted. “And I don’t know if people are really ready for this conversation.”

China ready to broker Israel-Palestine peace talks, says foreign minister

China’s foreign minister told his Israeli and Palestinian counterparts his country is ready to help facilitate peace talks, state media reported.

The separate phone calls between Chinese foreign minister, Qin Gang, and the Israeli and Palestinian top diplomats comes amid recent moves by Beijing to position itself as a regional mediator.

Qin encouraged “steps to resume peace talks,” and said that “China is ready to provide convenience for this,” in a Monday phone call with Israeli foreign minister Eli Cohen, state media agency Xinhua reported.

Why is Netflix pretending that Cleopatra was black?

‘I remember my grandmother saying to me: I don’t care what they tell you in school, Cleopatra was black.’ So asserts a trailer for a new Netflix ‘docuseries’ looking at the lives of powerful women in history. Alas for the speaker, an American of African descent, her grandmother’s idea of historical truth was highly subjective. It was built on an absurd generalisation about all Africans being black, and the regrettable assumption that skin colour is an important criterion for judging people’s merits. No one denies the awful legacy of slavery among African Americans, and the wish to find female African heroines is understandable – but it is also vital to get the facts right.

Well I hope she turns out to be a Gay dwarf too.

No one believed the Covid Wuhan lab leak theory – then the world changed its tune

Claims that Covid leaked from a lab were once roundly dismissed as Trumped-up charges – the ravings of a US president who seemed maliciously hellbent on blaming China for the pandemic.

Now after 18 months of extensive research and analysis, a US Senate Committee has published its full 304 page report into the matter – and it makes for compelling reading.

The media is spreading bad trans science

Misleading studies are being taken as gospel

Do people with severe depression have a right to accurate information about antidepressants? I suspect most people would answer “yes”. There is a general understanding that individuals who suffer from medical conditions are in a vulnerable position, making them susceptible to misinformation. There is also increased awareness of the influence that the profit motive can have on how medical research is funded, undertaken and communicated to the public.

Big Pharma is Coming for Your Food

All eyes on Missouri.

Two years ago, moms led a revolution. Many of us refused to accept an untested gene therapy “vaccine” rushed to market during unnecessary and prolonged Covid lockdowns. The years since have vindicated moms: Our concerns about adverse reactions and potentially life-altering complications are, unfortunately, proving to be true. Courageous patriots fought unethical vaccine mandates and drew attention to the lack of informed consent as pharmaceutical corporations experimented on the population at large.

Ontario doctors give up licences after complaints over COVID vaccine exemptions, misinformation

Two Ontario doctors accused of spreading COVID misinformation, including one who provided groundless vaccine exemptions to 168 people, attesting that the shots would expose them to “unacceptable medical risk,” have agreed to give up their licences to practise, and to never seek one again.

Very harsh penalties.
