Media Gush over Biden‘s Return to Ukraine: ‘Audacious,‘ ‘Defiant,‘ ‘Shock‘

The establishment media praised President Joe Biden for returning to Ukraine on Monday after visiting the nation six times in eight years while vice president.

Despite the Biden family business scandal that involves Ukraine, the media cheered Biden’s return to the nation waging war against Russia, a conflict based on decades of territorial claims.

Ottawa’s $2-million contract with international group to advise on alleged mass graves called ‘problematic’

“… Eugene Arcand, who sits as a member of its survivors circle, says he cannot understand why Ottawa would look to an international group that lacks knowledge of the residential school system and “cultural competency” needed for such sensitive discussions.”

Translation – they gonna catch us lying!

Don Lemon has ‘zero defenders’ left at CNN: source

Embattled CNN anchor Don Lemon has “zero defenders” left at the network source said, as it remains unclear whether he’ll be back on air Tuesday, sources told Page Six.

Lemon, 56, who has co-hosted “CNN This Morning” since its debut last November, is embroiled in a sexist scandal that’s threatening his future at the network.

“The big question is, is CNN going to keep Don off air on a day-to-day basis?” said one well-placed industry insider. “If they wanted to keep him, they would suspend him for two weeks and call it a day.”

That’s one public figure I hope to see less of. As in never again if possible.

Send all asylum seekers to other provinces, Quebec premier tells Trudeau

Premier François Legault is urging Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to redirect all asylum seekers entering Quebec to other provinces “as soon as they arrive at the border.”

Legault issued this request to Trudeau in a letter obtained by Radio-Canada.

That letter is the latest attempt by the Quebec government to put pressure on Ottawa to reduce the flow of asylum seekers entering the province, especially through the irregular border crossing at Roxham Road.

Last week, Quebec Immigration Minister Christine Fréchette said the province’s message was finally getting through, as more migrants entering the country through Roxham Road were being sent to Ontario and other provinces.

How about we send Quebec to the 3rd world shithole of their choosing?

Are Harry and Meghan planning to sue makers of South Park?

Harry and Meghan’s lawyers are ‘casting an eye’ over animated sitcom South Park, a royal commentator has claimed, after it launched a series of attacks against the couple.

The satirical series ridiculed the couple’s demands for privacy while on a publicity blitz for the Duke’s autobiography, Spare, and their Netflix series in a brutal episode last week.

Now it has been suggested the broadcast may have ‘legal ramifications’ with the Sussexes’ lawyers.

John Robson: CSIS Leak: What Will It Take for Trudeau to Start Expelling Chinese Diplomats?

Apparently the Canadian government is justified in taking drastic measures to combat threats to national security or someone’s “self-realization” from, say, a truck horn. But if a totalitarian tyranny attempts to fiddle our elections, well, all good clean fun.

At any rate, the prime minister declares himself thoroughly vindicated by the Rouleau report. But while he now claims to realize he shouldn’t have been so mean about his loser nutbar hate-filled domestic critics, he sees nozink, nozink when it comes to China’s efforts to undermine our democracy. And woe betide anyone who attempts to brief him.

Will Turkey’s Earthquakes Bring Down Erdogan?

In the aftermath of the devastating earthquakes which have struck southeastern Turkey, a major cover-up operation has been set in motion to save President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s reputation. Construction, rather than production, has long been the hallmark of Erdogan’s rule. And like in Jericho, the walls have come tumbling down. With an economy in freefall and a general election scheduled to happen later this year, Erdogan’s fate may now be in the hands of the United States.

Children Don’t Benefit from Having Promiscuous Parents

Social conservatives warned that redefining marriage as being something other than husband and wife would further encourage redefinition in other areas, such as permanence and exclusivity.

CNN Health reports that “interest in nonmonogamy — participation in nonexclusive sexual relationships — is on the rise.” The article’s author, Ian Kerner, discusses “ethical nonmonogamy” and gives examples of its supposed benefits…

Western public support for Ukraine is falling

New polls show that war fatigue may be setting in

On the eve of the one-year anniversary of the Russian invasion, Western leaders have been working to demonstrate their unwavering commitment to the Ukrainian cause. As part of a surprise visit to Kyiv today, US President Joe Biden announced new military assistance and further sanctions on Moscow, while in Munich, European allies promised more military and financial support to Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Why Prevent is failing to tackle Islamism

Practitioners are too frightened of being labelled Islamophobic.

Finally, the truth about Prevent, the government’s counter-extremism programme, is out in the public domain. William Shawcross’s independent review, published earlier this month, showed clearly where the strategy is falling down. Practitioners find themselves harassed by Islamists, undermined by local authorities and under-supported by central government.

The Biden administration continues to ‘transify’ the American military

In 2010, Barack Obama signed an order ending the prohibition against homosexuals serving in the United States military. At the time, the argument was that this made sense because new attitudes about homosexuality meant that (a) homosexuals’ presence would not destroy unit cohesion and (b) they couldn’t be blackmailed if they were already open about their sexuality. Thirteen years later, the Biden administration is ordering service members to respect the pronouns of those who are on the merry-go-round of “gender identity.” In other words, we’ve gone from “let gays serve” to “pander to those with mental disorders.”

Where’s the manpower to drive Net Zero? Nowhere

POLITICIANS tell us that one of the advantages of Net Zero is that it will mean jobs. A lot of jobs. True, critics respond, but, as the UK has largely abandoned manufacturing in pursuit of emission reduction, many such jobs would go elsewhere – not least to China. That’s correct. But it doesn’t mean that Net Zero wouldn’t mean jobs in the UK. In fact, there would still be a lot, so for once the politicians may have got it right. However they seem to have overlooked a massive obstacle.
