Danielle Holt (a surgeon and a graduate of the War College) and Col. Susan Davis (a physical therapist and also a graduate of the War College) on the topic “Interrupting Bias in Army Talent Management.” The article is included in a section of the journal under the heading “Highlighting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.” The once famed U.S. Army War College has gone woke.

American idiot and Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong said he is going to renounce his US citizenship and move to England because he is so upset over the Supreme Court overturning the landmark abortion case Roe v. Wade.

The singer made the comments to a crowd at the band’s show in London, specifically “F*ck America, I’m f*cking renouncing my citizenship. I’m f*cking coming here.” He called the justices “pr*cks” and said “f*ck the Supreme Court of America.”

Can he do that? Does it make any sense?

YouTube to crack down on videos about self-performed abortions

YouTube will begin to restrict videos about self-performed abortions.

The video streaming service announced on Thursday that it was implementing new guidelines regarding the spread of information about alternative medical procedures for getting an abortion. The concern arises as abortion rights advocates become concerned about ease of access after the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

“Starting today and ramping up over the next few weeks, we will remove content that provides instructions for unsafe abortion methods or promotes false claims about abortion safety under our medical misinformation policies,” YouTube said in a tweet.

A wealthy Minneapolis neighborhood crowdfunded $210,000 to pay the city’s police department for extra officer patrols amid a skyrocketing crime surge.

Extra patrols were dispatched to Lowry Hill, where more than 40 percent of residents earn six figures, after the community raised funds to pay cops $107 for each hour of overtime they worked.

The community requested additional police presence after Minneapolis saw increased violence and criminal activity after an outcry over George Floyd’s murder prompted the woke city council to cut $1 million from the police department.

According to a report earlier today, Ford Motor Company is planning to cut as many as 8,000 jobs, pertaining mostly to positions in the American automaker’s internal combustion division. The layoffs are said to help wean Ford off ICE production and use those funds to further invest in EV development.

Although Ford Motor Company was one of the legacy automakers a tad slow to fully embrace electrification, it has found quick success around the globe on the coat tails of its flagship Mustang Mach-E, which was followed by the uber popular F-150 Lightning.

While authorities have since tried to play down their own statements on the matter, these claims made by German authorities are consistent with previous statements from ministers, with one decrying the possibility of so-called “right-wing extremists” gaining popularity should the country’s government be unable to manage the country’s energy situation.

From the CTH perspective, if we accept the scale of the approaching U.S. economic pain that is clearly visible on the horizon, this narrative shift from the Associated Press and NPR, about a balancing act for U.S. policy and a corrupt Ukraine government, seems very predictable.

The average U.S. worker, and the middle class in general, is in trouble. The visible reference of bailing out the people of Ukraine to the tune of $60+ billion is legislative salt in an open economic wound caused by Biden policy. A shift is needed.

Pivoting away from Ukraine to focus on financial subsidies for Americans requires using a particular arm-distancing toward Zelenskyy from the politicians.

In opening comments Wednesday for the Senate Judiciary Committee hearings on so-called “assault weapons,” Democrat Senator and gun-confiscation enthusiast Dick Durbin threatened that it is “time to name and shame” the makers of AR-15s, the rifle Democrats have demonized as “weapons of war.” Gun manufacturers aren’t the trigger-pullers behind mass shootings, but they are a much easier and more politically useful scapegoat to target than the criminally insane minds of the actual shooters. Democrats aren’t interested in ending gun violence anyway; if they were, they would be holding hearings on the shootings perpetrated by gang members in Democrat-run inner cities, by terrorists, and by the criminally insane. What they want to end is not gun violence but gun ownership.

Allegations that former Unifor head Jerry Dias received a $50,000 kickback from a rapid test supplier he promoted to employers have left Canada’s largest private-sector union reeling.

Dias allegedly offered half of that money to his assistant Chris MacDonald, who reported the breach to Unifor and filed a formal complaint.

The Star has obtained the summary of an independent workplace investigation commissioned by Unifor, as well as 1,600 pages of minutes detailing how the union’s senior leadership dealt with the fallout. The investigation found that Dias tried to impede the probe into the alleged kickback scandal by pressuring the whistleblower to drop their complaint, a breach of the union’s ethics.
