United Church to transform its properties into rental apartments

Kindred Works has a goal to transform the church’s properties across Canada. This includes renewing church facilities and housing 34,000 people over the next 15 years in new rental apartments. One-third of these will be below-market rentals, with financing from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation. KPMB Architects are the lead designers for all of these projects.

Smart move. Do it before the Moslems burn them down.

Censoring The Truth: PayPal Bans Independent Journalists Who Contradict Mainstream Media’s False Narrative In Ukraine

PayPal has banned the accounts of journalists and media companies that have published stories that contradict some of the West’s reporting of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Among those that have been banned include MintPress News, its journalists Alan MacLeod and Mnar Adley, and independent journalist Caleb Maupin.

A few days ago, MintPress published a report by MacLeod, titled “An Intellectual No-Fly Zone: Online Censorship of Ukraine Dissent Is Becoming the New Norm.” The report alleges Silicon Valley and Big Tech have been suppressing anything that contradicts the US and Western governments’ narratives of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Film review: ‘Biden lost’; State attorneys general can now act if DOJ won’t

“[W]ithout reservation and with absolute science and evidence supporting it — using the evidence in the film from only a handful of regional locations from only some of the states in question — Biden clearly lost.”

TownHall.com columnist Kevin McCullough said he reached that conclusion after a screening of Dinesh D’Souza’s new documentary “2000 Mules”, which debuts this week.

Trudeau’s Biased Response To Protests Undermine Democracy & The Rule Of Law

When it comes to our rights, it would seem “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian” doesn’t apply.
Government power is an ever-present risk to our rights and freedoms.

Even in a nation that is supposed to be ‘free,’ the immense power of many of our institutions – and the fact that flawed human beings run those institutions – means the potential for abuse of power and the denial of individual rights and freedoms is always there.

Ontario Liberals, NDP rule out federal-style coalition if they lose to Doug Ford’s PCs

With the premier expected to call an election next week, the NDP and Liberals both say they are not interested in forming an alliance similar to the “supply-and-confidence” agreement brokered last month between Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh. That deal saw the federal NDP agree to provide Trudeau’s minority government with guaranteed support, allowing him to rule as if he had a majority. In 2008, the federal Liberals, NDP and Bloc Québécois also attempted to form a coalition of opposition parties shortly after losing the federal election to the Conservatives, although that plan fell apart.

Escape Artist: Why Justin Trudeau Survives Every Liberal Government Scandal

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has escaped so many scandals he qualifies as the Harry Houdini of Canadian politics. No matter the quantity or magnitude of the investigations, Mr. Trudeau remains the Rock of Gibraltar of prime ministers.

Last week, the opposition Conservative Party requested that the RCMP reopen a probe into Trudeau’s 2016 Aga Khan vacation. Naturally, they are wasting their time. In terms of investigations into misconduct, a consistent theme emerges: Canada’s prime minister has been classified an “untouchable.”

‘Anti-Racism Fight Club’ Handbook Sent To Washington D.C. Elementary Schoolers, Parents

Janney Elementary School in Washington, D.C. held a virtual assembly with an anti-racist educator Nov. 30 for students, according to an email from Janney Elementary School’s principal. Doyin Richards, an educator who claims “racism is as American as apple pie and baseball,” taught elementary schoolers about racism and oppression.

Principal Danielle Singh emailed parents informing them that students in grades “Pre-K through third grade participated in the Anti-Racism Fight Club presentation with Doyin Richards.” Students obtained a “fist book” with information on combating racism at home.

It’s Not Debt Forgiveness, It’s Debt Transfer

Laura Ingraham sparked intense outrage on the left (what’s new) with her recent remarks criticizing President Biden’s reported plans to push forward with his student loan debt “forgiveness” scheme.

Before we get to that, let’s establish the obvious: this isn’t debt forgiveness, it’s a debt transfer. Since money can’t be evaporated or erased, the existing debt – that is, money that has already been spent – will be paid by someone. What the president is promising to do is to tell the people who took the loans that they don’t have to fulfill their obligation to pay, while telling taxpayers they get to.

Tucker Carlson Responds To New York Times Hit Piece That Smeared Him As Racist

The New York Times unleashed a flurry of negative press against Tucker Carlson this weekend. The Times published five articles about Carlson on Saturday, including one hit piece that suggested that his ultra-successful Fox News talk show “may be the most racist show in the history of cable news.”

The White House can’t imagine why Americans would fear their dystopian disinformation board led by a far-left Mary Poppins’ impersonator

Biden branded his political rivals and millions of Americans, who opposed his radical plans to gut Senate tradition and pass partisan election reform, as enemies of the state.

Democrats colluded with the National School Boards Association to threaten to send federal law enforcement after parents who committed the ‘crime’ of challenging the Democrats’ destructive far-left school indoctrination.

Two weeks ago, former President Barack Obama warned that unregulated social media threatens to inflame ‘humanity’s worst impulses.’

Now – lo and behold – we have the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security Disinformation Governance Board, announced seemingly out-of-the-blue during a Senate hearing by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

The Battle for Control of Your Mind

In his classic dystopian novel 1984, George Orwell famously wrote, “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever.” This striking image served as a potent symbol for totalitarianism in the 20th Century. But as Caylan Ford recently observed, with the advent of digital health passports in the emerging biomedical security state, the new symbol of totalitarian repression is “not a boot, but an algorithm in the cloud: emotionless, impervious to appeal, silently shaping the biomass.” The new forms of repression will be no less real for being virtual rather than physical.

These new digital surveillance and control mechanisms will be no less oppressive for being virtual rather than physical. Contact tracing apps, for example, have proliferated with at least 120 different apps in used in 71 different states, and 60 other digital contact-tracing measures have been used across 38 countries. There is currently no evidence that contact tracing apps or other methods of digital surveillance have helped to slow the spread of COVID; but as with so many of our pandemic policies, this does not seem to have deterred their use.

Far-Left Dems Use Ukraine Crisis To Push For Green Energy Despite Glaring Problems

A group of six far-left Senate Democrats introduced a resolution Monday urging the federal government to quickly adopt green energy policies for national security reasons.

The U.S. must transition to green energy “as quickly as possible,” bring an end to alleged price gouging from oil companies and provide assistance to consumers battling high energy prices, according to the Democratic non-binding resolution first reported by The Washington Post.

Refugees feel forgotten as Canada’s immigration backlog sits at nearly 2 million applications

These are some of the phrases refugees waiting to come to Canada are using as the country’s immigration backlog sits at nearly two million applications, more than 100,000 of which are for refugees.

Mark Levin: January 6 Committee ‘Is Violating the Constitution’

According to Levin, the January 6 Committee was violating the Constitution.

Canada Moves Forward with Plans to Implement Digital IDs

Canadian provinces are torn on implementing digital IDs. Alberta and Ontario have already begun the process while Saskatchewan has recently scrapped its plans. However, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat (“TBS”) and Digital Identification and Authentication Council of Canada (“DIACC”) seem determined to forge ahead regardless of how citizens feel about their plans. They, of course, use the sales pitch of convenience to convince the public to relinquish their freedoms.

Are Financial Institutions Using ESG Social Credit Scores to Coerce Individuals and Small Businesses?

Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics are a kind of social credit system designed to coerce businesses—and, by extension, individuals and all of society—to transform their practices.

Through a carrot-and-stick approach, investors and banks (and soon governments) use ESG to push businesses to change how they function, regardless of what the employees and customers of those businesses want. In many cases, however, corporate executives are all too willing to go along, because they want access to the cheap capital offered by investors and financial institutions.
