Gaetz: ‘Every Element of Our Government Is Weaponized Against Us’

Tuesday on Newsmax TV’s “Greg Kelly Reports,” Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) sounded off about the FBI’s raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

Gaetz emphasized that the “bizarre” raid on Trump, in addition to the push for 87,000 new IRS Democrats, showed that “every element of our government is weaponized against us.”

Canadian Screen Awards switching to gender-neutral performance categories

The Canadian Screen Awards are moving to gender-neutral performance categories next year.

Instead of separate prizes for best actor and actress, there will now be a single recipient in each category.

On the film side, there will be awards for performance in a leading role and performance in a supporting role. For television, there will be awards for both lead and supporting performances in the drama and comedy categories, and an award for best performance in a TV movie.

Thus cutting the number of awards roughly in half, effectively punishing acting-persons for the woke agenda.

Biden accuses Trump and ‘extreme’ Republicans of ‘semi-fascism’: President tears into the ‘MAGA philosophy’ at DNC fundraiser in $3.1million Maryland home

President Joe Biden accused former President Donald Trump and ‘extreme’ Republicans of ‘semi-fascism’ at a fundraiser Thursday evening at a $3.1 million Bethesda, Maryland home.

‘What we’re seeing now, is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy,’ Biden told about 100 wealthy donors. ‘It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the – I’m going to say something – it’s like semi-fascism.’

The president warned that not only were reproductive rights on the ballot in November – but gay marriage – and the GOP could, again, go after Obamacare.

‘This is not your father’s Republican party. This is a different deal,’ he said, repeating a line he’s often delivered at fundraisers.

‘Misinformed rhetoric:’ Guilbeault fires back over water accusations

Federal Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault shot back at the provincial government on Wednesday over what he says is misinformation regarding an incident that saw federal employees take water samples from a dugout on private land.

Guilbeault said in a letter he wanted to address speculations over the work of Environment Canada employees, who have routinely conducted water monitoring across provinces for more than 50 years.

‘Completely out of control’: FBI whistleblowers sound alarm on massive corruption

Many Americans view the FBI with suspicion, not respect, these days.

After all, its agents and officials were integral to the now-debunked Russiagate collusion conspiracy that the bureau created, along with Democrats, against President Trump.

Then, of course, there was the recent FBI raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, in which agents purportedly searched for government documents that Trump already had promised they could have if they asked.

But it gets worse.

Pronouns caused Agriculture Canada systems to crash

A federal department’s decision to add gendered pronoun identifiers to its internal communications and remote work software caused the systems to crash and display errors.

On July 18, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) decided to introduce pronouns to Microsoft (MS) Teams and Outlook “to further (their) commitment to diversity and inclusion.” The use of pronouns such as “they/them” is a common practice among the LGBTQ+ community.

Fox News Goes Scorched Earth Against Trump

In a shocking move that signaled its full support for stopping President Trump from running in 2024, Fox News published an opinion piece by Democrat lawyer Bradley Moss which claimed the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago was legal and justified.

Bradley Moss is an infamous Democrat troll who has publicly supported the false claims of national security “experts” about Russiagate, and other anti-Trump hoaxes, for several years.

Publishing an op-ed by Bradley Moss on the Mar-a-Lago raid is like promoting a book on marital fidelity by Hugh Hefner or asking Harvey Weinstein for tips on dating — it’s such an absurd idea that it reeks of bad faith.

It’s the strongest possible sign yet that Fox News will try to stop President Trump’s 2024 run by any means necessary.

Why Justin Trudeau’s Canada Is So Soft on China

Despite repeated calls from the Biden administration, the Canadian government of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has yet to formulate a public foreign policy strategy to deal with China. Canada has the world’s ninth-largest economy, a population of nearly forty million, a major Pacific Ocean coastline, and fully benefits from the U.S. missile defense architecture, to which it makes no contribution. Yet it is a disappointingly meek U.S. ally. Ottawa has been pursuing a virtually neutralist strategy of avoiding committing to any U.S. effort to harness the coalition of democracies to confront the Chinese threat to Taiwan. Washington needs to be aware that any Canadian foreign policy on China will be heavily influenced by domestic electoral politics.

Justin Trudeau Exempts Saudi Arabian Oil From Carbon Taxes

A rhetorical question published by the Toronto Star speaks volumes on the topic of energy and oil production in Canada:

“How come you[PM Justin Trudeau] have exempted it[Saudi Arabia] from your carbon tax and are not subjecting Saudi oil to the same environmental regulations you have imposed on Western Canadian oil?”

“It couldn’t be because most Saudi oil is destined for Quebec? You’re supposed to be in a battle with the Saudis, yet an objective outside observer might think you’re at war with Alberta.”

Canada On Track To Exceed Lofty 2022 Immigration Target

Canada is on track to exceed its immigration goal of granting permanent residency to more than 430,000 people in 2022, Immigration Minister Sean Fraser said on Wednesday.

Fraser, speaking to reporters in Vancouver, also announced a plan to hire up to 1,250 workers to tackle a record high number of immigration applicants.

Canada, which depends on immigration to drive its economy and support an aging population, has been ramping up annual immigration and has a goal of adding 451,000 permanent residents in 2024.

Why People Are Turning On Vaccine Mandates

These past two years have left Canadians feeling more divided than ever. Justin Trudeau’s government has inflamed this by vilifying the unvaccinated and promoting vaccine segregation. Increasingly, it’s difficult to even talk about the issue. A country built on free speech is now inhospitable to civil discourse. One journalist who has felt the full effect of this is Rupa Subramanya.

She was attacked by legacy media journalists after reporting on court documents showing Canada’s travel restrictions were not based in science.

She joined True North’s Andrew Lawton to discuss her recent article, how she came to write it, and how she went from a supporter of vaccine mandates to one of their largest critics.

FBI Agents Were Told Not to Look Into Hunter Biden’s Laptop, Whistleblowers Say

Federal authorities took the laptop from a Delaware computer repair shop in December 2019 after being alerted to its presence by the store owner. However, whistleblowers said local FBI leadership told employees not to look at the laptop for months and declared the FBI would not further change the election outcome, according to a letter Johnson sent Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz Tuesday.

California Advances Plan To Ban Gas Vehicle Sales by 2035

The rule, issued by the California Air Resources Board, will require that all new cars sold in the state by 2035 be free of greenhouse gas emissions like carbon dioxide. The rule also sets interim targets, requiring that 35 percent of new passenger vehicles sold by 2026 produce zero emissions. That requirement climbs to 68 percent by 2030.

I’m done, thanks

I cannot take this anymore. A few of you are decent people, and some are real assholes. You have no idea how much work goes into this blog every day. I now choose to spend my time taking care of my family. Goodbye.

Update. OK. This has taken me by surprise as it has many of you. I have been wrapped up in myself and family issues these past 18 months or so.

I will speak to Sarcasticat to see what if anything can be done. BCF

Canada Is Euthanizing Its Sick and Poor. Welcome to World of Government Health Care.

Many leftists tout Canada’s socialized healthcare system as something America should emulate, claiming government-run healthcare is more humane. But it seems Canadian officials are more interested in urging doctors to help patients to kill themselves than to treat them.

America’s neighbor to the north has some of the most permissive euthanasia laws in the world. Canada’s medical assistance in dying laws allow almost anyone who can claim some form of hardship or disability to receive physician-assisted suicide, regardless of how minor those disabilities might be.
