In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks two decades ago, stunned and shaken Western allies scrambled to set up a terrorism intelligence exchange among themselves — a dedicated intelligence stream between the partners of the “Five Eyes” alliance to warn them of future attacks.
A former senior Canadian intelligence official now predicts that five-member intelligence alliance — between Canada, the United States, Britain, Australia and New Zealand — will follow a similar path in the wake of COVID-19 by pooling medical intelligence that could provide early warning of the next pandemic.

It’s wintertime in the Great White North. And while it might be cold, the silver lining is that if you like to skate, play hockey or go cross-country skiing, there’s an abundance of frozen H20 all across our great Dominion. Indeed, bodies of water ranging from small ponds to large lakes have already frozen over, so let the frigid frivolity begin, right?
Nike, which has been documented to use slave labour in their manufacturing facilities in China, including forced labour from ethnic Uyghurs as part of the Chinese government’s ongoing genocide of the minority group, has long taken moral stances on political issues. The company gained notoriety for their support of Colin Kaepernick when he repeatedly kneeled during the US national anthem sparked controversy in 2016.
A Disney spokesperson said in a statement, “The insurrection at our nation’s Capitol was a direct assault on one of our country’s most revered tenets: the peaceful transition of power. In the immediate aftermath of that appalling siege, Members of Congress had an opportunity to unite—an opportunity that some sadly refused to embrace. In light of these events, we have decided we will not make political contributions in 2021 to lawmakers who voted to reject the certification of the Electoral College votes.”
Fear grips Capitol Hill: “Untouchable? We’re all touchable now”
The attack on the Capitol a week ago has left lawmakers with a heightened sense of vulnerability about their own security — and fresh questions about whether their own leaders and the U.S. Capitol Police are adequately equipped to handle those concerns.
Good. Partisan, petty, and vindictive Congress has created our current toxic political environment. Perhaps now they will realize who they work for, and what the price is for incompetence and betrayal.

With clownish incompetence, Ontario enacts a new, incomprehensible ‘lockdown’
The incomprehensible new directives include a stay-at-home-order that prohibits outings except for “essential purposes” such as grocery shopping and exercise, but still allows “non-essential retail stores” to remain open, albeit with restricted hours. Social media platforms such as Twitter are only focused on President Donald Trump and his millions of devoted fans. They don’t seem to focus on violent thoughts on the left, most prominently the Hollywood left. Apparently, their violent thoughts are never plausibly dangerous; no one could ever be incited by them.
“I said, I think it was in March, last March. That you know, lockdowns are not the solution, and now they are doubled on it. Now we have lockdowns and a curfew here in Quebec, and maybe in other provinces.. And why is it not the solution? Because it isn’t working. And at the same time, you know, we need to have our freedom, and governments actually, right now, are looking at us as irresponsible children that they must tell what to do. But we are responsible citizens, and we don’t need lockdowns to fight this virus.”
