Majority of Canadians Believe Trudeau Has Fractured Society, Damaged Democracy

In his acceptance speech after winning a third term in office, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sought to downplay the divisions within Canada, saying “that’s not what I see.”

A poll from Maru Public Opinion says he is wrong. A Nanos Research Group poll finds that just 17% of respondents believe Canada should accept more immigrants to our country. Trudeau responded by establishing the highest immigration quotas in history. The Liberal government target stands at 451,000 migrants for 2024.

In the meantime, 77% of survey respondents said Canada feels more fractured than ever. 52% said Canada’s democratic system is broken and “needs a major overhaul.”

Far-left voices are offering less than celebratory Independence Day messages — from warning of “extremist voices” to urging Americans to sponsor Ukrainian refugees.

While conservatives generally posted celebratory messages, reminding Americans that we live in the “greatest nation in the world” and to give glory to God, some on the left were less than enthusiastic.

Trudeau government to ship Roxham Road illegal border crossers to Ontario

The Trudeau government has approved a plan requested by Quebec to ship asylum claimants who illegally cross into Canada via Roxham Road into Ontario cities such as Niagara Falls and Ottawa.

Quebec authorities have pleaded with Ottawa in recent months to alleviate the stress the influx of migrants has caused for the province.

‘It’s the real deal’: Doctors warn of future wave fueled by Omicron variants

COVID-19 cases are on the rise again in Canada, and the blame lies with the two rapidly spreading Omicron sub-variants, also known as BA.4 and BA.5 variants.

First detected in South Africa in April this year, its ability to spread more rapidly than other circulating variants, primarily BA.2, has led scientists to predict its prevalence as the dominant variant in the coming months.

Canadian researchers examining the threat from emerging strains of COVID-19 predicted that Omicron BA.5 would account for nearly 70 percent of cases by Canada Day. the latest data from the Public Health Agency of Canadadating back to June 12, shows that BA.5 accounted for 20.4 percent of COVID-19 cases.

FREEDOM TUBS: Dutch farmers block food distribution centres

The Dutch Central Food Trade Agency (CBL) has denounced the protests and called on the government to resolve the conflict immediately.

“These blockades are unacceptable,” the CBL wrote in a statement. “The CBL previously called on the government and farmers to use the dialogue and resolve the conflict. The farmers have a conflict with the government about nitrogen, [and] the members of the CBL are not involved. Blockades of distribution centers hurt the citizens of the Netherlands.”

Mass shooting at Highland Park Fourth of July parade, multiple people shot

A Sun-Times reporter saw blankets placed over three bloodied bodies. Other people, running, were visibly bloodied. Police told people: “Everybody disperse, please. It is not safe to be here.”

At least nine people are shot at July 4th parade in affluent Chicago suburb Highland Park: Bodies lie in street as witnesses describe shooter ‘standing on roof of a store’

Videos and photos from the scene show blood on the sidewalk and motionless bodies scattered on the parade route. Chicago Sun Times reporter Lynn Sweet was at the parade when gunfire rang out. She has since shared photos and videos from the event which show people lying on the ground, and has described it as a ‘bloodbath’.
