The Justice Department announced the formation on Tuesday of “cross-jurisdictional firearms trafficking strike forces” in five major U.S. cities to track and stop the illegal transfer of firearms.
The strike forces, part of President Joe Biden’s strategy to counter spiking violent crime rates across the nation, will launch within 30 days in the Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas in coordination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and other local law enforcement offices.
“Mayor Ted Wheeler was joined by Portland Police Bureau (PPB) Chief Chuck Lovell for an afternoon video conference to announce that officers will no longer be asked to respond to traffic stops that are ‘not immediately related to safety threats.’ PPB officers have also been ordered under the city’s new consent search procedure to “clearly inform the person of their right to refuse or revoke their consent,” and must also record their request when asking the person for consent to search, said Wheeler, a Democrat,” reports Fox News.
Sen. Susan Collins had the most prescient opposition to this naked power-grab by Democrats to rig elections in that she effectively argued that if elections now are as fair and fraud-free as Democrats say they were in 2020, and turnout was as high as they said it was, and they “won,” why do they need this bill at all?
“It’s essential that we enact the President’s transformative Jobs Plan, which will create millions of good-paying jobs for working parents and rebuild our economy in a new way as we go forward,” Pelosi said.
Joe Biden entered the Oval Office with no mandate of any kind. The Senate is deadlocked. Democrats in the House hold a razor-thin majority. Joe himself is widely considered by many Americans to be an illegitimate President who took power based on widespread electoral fraud.
Under these circumstances one might normally anticipate four years of standing pat, playing it safe and steering toward the middle. These, however, are not normal times. Biden’s administration is under the control of zealots and insurrectionists bent on transforming America and making revolutionary change. What you have seen to date, radical as it has been, has been only the beginning.
