Who are these people? They supposedly worked for a Toronto police board member’s companies

Nadine Spencer – Police Services Board Member & Fantasist

Until recently, a black-and-white photo of a woman holding her face in her hands was used to depict Mary Ellen Steinam — also known as Ellen Steinam — across social media and on the website of a marketing company founded by Toronto Police Service Board member Nadine Spencer.

Steinam worked as chief operating officer of Spencer’s company BrandEQ for more than a decade, according to her LinkedIn page. Her profile said she was based in New York and had previously held other prominent marketing jobs at Nestle and Saatchi & Saatchi as far back as 1994.

On Facebook and X, she shared posts and photos of Spencer — cheering on her boss and BrandEQ.

This is what happens when DEI racism trumps common sense.

Jamie Sarkonak: Finally some academic pushback to DEI nonsense

DEI – racist anti-white communist ideology

The bad news: there is no plan to ramp down diversity-based funding and the use of racial quotas in the federally funded research landscape. The good news? More and more people have noticed — including the academics at the heart of the system.

In the latest development, about 40 Canadian university professors have recommended to the House of Commons that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) policies in federally funded research be abolished. Such policies have multiplied within the three agencies responsible for funding research, known collectively as the Tri-Council, since the Liberals took office.

Hollywood’s “Hays Code” is back…and no wonder Israel is in the doghouse

By the DEI book, white people are often sinful, all black people are always virtuous. George Floyd, for example.

Some books hit you where you live. So it is with A. E. Hotchner’s “Papa Hemingway,” where Hotchner lovingly tells of his 13 year friendship with Hemingway.

These would be the last years of Hemingway’s life. Hotchner left us the year 2020 at the age of 102.

I wrote the column “Hemingway and a Lost Generation,” back in July 2, 2013, and there it sits as article 102 as part of my collection of essays for the book, “Writings.”

The White Left and the Racial Rubicon

The progressive anti-white platform sweeping away Western civilization owes its origins to what the authors shall refer to as the “White Left,” who originally founded, organized, promoted, and funded the anti-white movement that is now fully adopted and embraced by the United States government and most major media, academic, and business institutions.

Ex-diversity boss at Facebook, Nike who orchestrated fake events to steal $5M gets five years, must pay back hefty sum

Diversity Hire, Diversity Thief

The ex-diversity program manager for Facebook and Nike who stole more than $5 million from the mega companies to fund her “luxury lifestyle” was sentenced Monday to five years behind bars — and ordered to pay back the hefty sum.

Barbara Furlow-Smiles, 38, set up fake business deals, invoices and events — including a Juneteenth celebration — to line her own pockets, the Justice Department said.

How the Decolonization Movement Came to Canada

That the revolutionary Marxist concept of “decolonization” should apply to Canada, itself a former colony that gained independence with scarcely a drop of blood shed, had no legacy of slavery, and then developed as an independent nation without significant internal violence, might seem like quite a reach. But the idea gained a toehold here 50 years ago and, after remaining quiescent for decades, has metastasized into what we see today: a conviction that Canada’s political and social structures are inherently oppressive and racist and must be torn down.

In this second part of my three-part editorial series (Part 1 can be read here), I’ll explore how this happened.

Trudeau government has spent $10 million promoting DEI in the military as recruitment flounders

Canada’s Department of National Defence has spent nearly $10 million on so-called diversity, equity and inclusion programs since Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took office in 2015.

According to records released May 7 by Blacklock’s Reporter, the Department of National Defence has paid consultants and contractors $9,510,247 to promote “equity and inclusion” within the military.

Joe Oliver: A principled Canada would protect its Jews

… In Canada, as elsewhere, Israel’s enemies target it with unhinged ferocity. Too many decent people don’t recognize that this vilification is unjustified and one-sided because it’s been normalized by an accommodating establishment and mainstream media. Moral clarity was always an endangered species in the Middle Eastern conflict.

A principled Canada would protect it’s Jews? Really?

Would that be the principled Canada of Jews for Gaza?

Would that be the principled Canada of Bernie Farber’s CAHN?

Would that be the principled Canada that has demonized White people through DEI and CRT for the past decade?

Would that be the principled Canada of fake mass graves and burning churches?

Would that be the principled Canada that force marched us down the one way street of multiculturalism and diversity while denigrating our nation as founded on genocide?

Would that be the principled Canada whose elites have flooded the nation with incompatible immigrant cultures yet demands that we bigots learn to be tolerant?

Would that be the principled Canada that declares White supremacism a major threat while allowing multiple imported ethnic conflicts to be fought out in our streets?

Would that be the principled Canada that smeared you as a racist for daring to point out the folly of Mass Islamist immigration?

Would that be the principled  Canada where some of the same super tolerant blowhards who called us Islamophobes are suddenly the most enthusiastic of Islamophobes?

Would that be the principled Canada whose security services play down the threat of Muslim terrorism to please their political masters?

Would that be the principled Canada where identity politics is so out of hand that they appointed an Islamophobia Tsar who doubles as an Hamas cheerleader?

Would that be the principled Canada where the Mayor of Toronto declares a ceremonial flag raising “divisive”?

Would that be the principled Canada where most of the government media is as suspect as Press TV?

You see I’m a little confused. I consider myself to be a decent person even if I am one of those Islamophobic Demon Whites this country’s elites hate so fucking much so I’m more than a little surprised you’re asking for my help.

PS. That principled Canada you refer to is a thing of the past. Our principled elites trashed it or have you forgotten?

America’s Unprotected Class

Three years ago, the left-wing mayor of a Budapest district oversaw the erection of a statue in honor of the U.S. Black Lives Matter movement. When journalists asked her for the point of putting up a monument to BLM, given that Hungary has very few black people, the politician said, “The BLM goals of opposing racism and police brutality are just as relevant in Hungary as anywhere else.”

The unusual Budapest statue (which was destroyed quickly after it was erected) was but one of hundreds of pro-BLM European demonstrations following the death of George Floyd. American racial conflicts have a way of going global in the age of worldwide mass media, as if left-wing crowds in Britain and continental Europe were connected by a central nervous system.

Trudeau government will continue to discriminate against White people by favouring dubious affirmative action hires

Now showing more anti white bullshit

Jamie Sarkonak: No off-ramp to diversity quotas, federal research executive says

Canadian universities, at the direction of the federal Liberal government and the research granting agencies for which it’s responsible, have made race- and sex- based discrimination a matter of everyday business. And they don’t seem to have a plan to pare it back.

Take the president of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC), Ted Hewitt, who attended the House of Commons committee on science and research last Thursday for its study on post-secondary funding. Under his organization’s watch is the administration of the Canada Research Chairs Program, which is supposed to provide prestigious multi-year grants to highly competitive researchers across Canada. Only, it can hardly be called competitive, as the program is bound by strict diversity quotas.

Decolonization: How a Dangerous Ideology Was Born

A second “D” has been added to “DEI.” The pervasive diversity, equity, and inclusion trio has been repackaged as “EDID”: equity, diversity, inclusion, and decolonization. Like DEI, decolonization holds that society is systemically divided between a class of oppressors/exploiters and various victimized/oppressed minorities defined by their (racial, sexual, etc.) identities. And while the designated victim groups are fluid and shifting, the oppressors invariably fall into one category: “privileged” “white” “European” “settlers.”

Now firmly nested in Canada, decolonization is by far the most dangerous of this ideological quartet. If we’re not careful, it will lead to serious bloodshed. This first instalment of my three-part series focuses on decolonization’s origins.

New CRTC Questionnaire Asks Broadcasters About Their Diversity Practices, Raising Concerns About Ideological Creep

The CRTC is asking Canadian broadcasters for extensive details on their diversity initiatives in hiring and broadcasting.

In a four-page letter sent May 1 by email, the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) asked broadcasters six questions on their “program offerings and employment opportunities” to see if they met the requirements of the Online Streaming Act.

J.D. Tuccille: Rampant DEI nonsense to blame for the chaos seizing higher education

With American college campuses convulsed by protests that are anti-Israeli, anti-American and often antisemitic, it’s a good time to ask how students at the country’s institutions of higher education are so profoundly radicalized and hostile to their own society. The answer is that, to a great extent, these schools are the authors of their own problems. They worked hard to politicize students and, at least with some, succeeded.

Crack Down on Anti-Semitic K–12 Curricula

It’s not just on campus: even in primary and secondary education, Jews are often portrayed as privileged whites and Zionist colonial oppressors.

Anti-Semitism is spreading in K–12 school districts. Even in primary and secondary education, Jews are often viewed as privileged whites and oppressors, with Israel branded as an egregious example of “settler colonialism” and oppression of “indigenous people.” “Liberated ethnic studies” curricula, like the one mandated by California, have created a distinct variant of critical theory aimed at Jews for being Zionist colonial oppressors.

I’ve read a number of articles on the topic of DEI and CRT in the classroom and also the wider world.

A few recognize that it is poison for everyone. But others seem fine with DEI so long as Jews are able to secure a safe space in the victimhood hierarchy.

Groups like the ADL of course are keen to grab a piece of that action leaving whites as the Eternal Oppressor.
