Where is the Outrage? Have the Republicans Given Up?

Are America’s Republican Party and GOP elected officials living in a current state of Normalcy Bias, or have they truly given up?

Is our Republican leadership still so stunned that socialist Democrats have swept all three branches of government that they feel as though all their efforts are for naught?

From the outside looking in, this is what it certainly seems like. Minority leader Kevin McCarthy occasionally does a short presser and tosses out a bit of chum, but otherwise, nothing is really being done to bring the political atrocities to the American people.

Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls Ocasio-Cortez A ‘Terrorist’ — ‘Responsible For Attacks On Jewish People’

When the Democrats got Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene removed from all of her committee assignments they thought they had silenced her. But that is not the case. Without committees eating away at her time, she is free to go on whatever crusade she wishes. Her most current one is against AOC whom she accuses of being a terrorist who is responsible for the violent attacks against Jews in this country.

Sen. Rick Scott: ‘This Is Systemic Socialism’ – ‘Eventually, We’re All Going to Be Equally Poor’

Loss of freedom, higher taxes, wealth redistribution, skyrocketing inflation and wasteful spending are all evidence that the Biden Administration is imposing “Systemic Socialism” on Americans – and it’s never worked anywhere – Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) said Monday.

Rand Paul Says Fauci Could Be Responsible for Entire Pandemic: ‘He Can’t Escape This, He Did the Funding’

Republican Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky suggested that White House medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci might have helped fund the COVID-19 pandemic by bankrolling China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology, which some scientists say is the likely source of the virus.

“Ultimately, here’s the rub. I don’t know whether it came from the lab. Nobody knows whether it came from the lab,” Paul, a physician, said Tuesday on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends.” “But who would be culpable? Dr. Fauci could be culpable for the entire pandemic.”

Biden’s Blast from the Past – The Return of the Misery Index

This week has the distinct smell of Democrats in charge. We have gas lines again, more cars waiting to fill up their gas tanks than ever waiting to hear candidate Joe Biden speak at his sparsely attended campaign car rallies.

War is breaking out in the Middle East with Palestinian militants lobbing missiles at Israel, and Israel appropriately responding to attacks on its homeland. I wonder if Obama’s “pallets of cash” paid for any Hamas missiles? Or if the planned restoration of $235 million in US aid to the Palestinians has freed up cash for missiles?

Inflation and unemployment are both rising. It’s like traveling back in time to the late 1970s, dancing to the Bee Gees’ “Stayin Alive” under a mirror disco ball. But now it’s 2021 and we are dancing to Biden’s fiddle.

The rhyme these days is something older readers may remember, the “Misery Index”. One can hearken back to the days of President Jimmy Carter, the former peanut farmer turned US President, from 1976 to 1980, before Ronald Reagan taught America what conservatism was and could offer not only to America but the world.

Soros-Backed Mag Pushes For 5 New States To ‘End Whiteness’ Of Government.

Written by Karl Widerquist, a Professor of Philosophy at Georgetown University-Qatar, the piece argues that “one of the most transformative things Democrats could do with their narrow majority in Congress would be to grant statehood to all the remaining inhabited US territories”: Washington DC, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Mariana Islands.

The article – “The Case For Five New States” – argues that doing so would assist in “ending the whiteness of Congress.” “These territories have so far been prevented from becoming states as part of a larger, long-standing project to keep the Senate and Electoral College White,” it argues before adding “given American history, it’s reasonable to believe that their ethnic makeup is a primary reason why they are not states already.”
