Ontario reports 218 new Covid cases … and … Still No Passport … yet

Ontario is reporting its highest number of new COVID-19 cases in more than three weeks as the rolling seven-day average continues to slowly rise amid the presence of the more infectious Delta variant.

Pressure mounts on Doug Ford to introduce vaccine passports as fears of a fourth wave rise

Calls for the Ontario government to take leadership on vaccine credentials or so-called “vaccine passports” are increasing from both business and health advocates, who say the province needs to either create its own program or at least give clear direction on dealing with customers and employees as the province reopens.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has said the province won’t be creating a proof-of-vaccination system, deferring to the federal government instead.

If the vaccinated can contract and spread Covid what’s the point of a passport?

COVID-19 is surging in Alberta, but experts say other provinces shouldn’t worry yet

Cases of COVID-19 are surging in Alberta.

Over the course of the last two weeks, officials reported more than 749 infections. Meanwhile, Alberta health authorities confirmed 71 new cases of the virus linked directly to the Calgary Stampede, although the province’s former top doctor says that may be an underestimate.

For now, experts say the surge is expected and is no cause for alarm.

MUST SEE side-by-side media coverage of BLM protests vs. Capitol riot

On “The Rubin Report” this week, BlazeTV host Dave Rubin shared side-by-side comparisons of corporate media coverage of Black Lives Matter protests verses the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol, provided by a Twitter account called “Libs of Tic Tok.” The ridiculously glaring hypocrisy revealed by the comparisons lead Dave to conclude that America is in the midst of an “information war.”

Tucker Carlson: Americans Should Never Be Forced To Take Medicine They Don’t Want, Period

Strong regimes are marked by cheerfulness and an open-minded spirit. You know them when you see them. They are easy to recognize. Weakness has the opposite effect.

Weak leaders live in terror. They lie constantly. They admit nothing. They rule by force because they have no choice, they have lost their legitimacy.

When they begin to lose control, as they inevitably do, they panic. Unable to acknowledge the magnitude of their failure, they retreat into delusion and their behavior becomes irrational. They start issuing bizarre commands.

Racism Being Used As Weapon Of Social Division In Canada

July 15th, 2021 article from Townhall Press reflects a state of society eschewed by establishment media:

“Everything is racist, to the point that it’s difficult to keep up. That which isn’t obviously racist is structurally racist should that fit the left’s needs at any given moment.”

“No proof of any of these allegations is required, usually because none exists. But when you have control of the media, no proof is needed – the allegation is evidence enough.”

Endless taxpayer funding has ‘liberated’ CBC from having to actually respond to what people want, and instead push the state-mandated narrative that is deeply unpopular.

Canadians blame Liberals for failed pandemic border policy: government-commissioned survey

The government instituted COVID-19 travel bans too late and Canadians hold them responsible, according to a survey commissioned by the federal government.

In early 2021 the Department of Finance paid Quorus Consulting Group Inc. $59,775 for their findings, as reported by Blacklock’s Reporter.

“In terms of what the federal government got wrong, many felt the government should have closed the borders sooner than it did,” the Department of Finance report read.

Even THEY Have Had Enough: Reporters Unleash on Psaki Over Return of Masks

When there’s a White House press briefing in which the press corps doesn’t appear friendly with the Biden administration, you know it was a tough day at the office. Tuesday’s briefing was one of those rare days as Fox’s Peter Doocy was joined by over a half dozen colleagues in asking tough questions Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to answer about the return of masks, even for vaccinated Americans.

Chuck Todd: There is no liberal media bias

NBC’s Chuck Todd gave a lengthy interview to the Verge in which he was asked about media bias. Specifically, the discussion started with whether or not Todd would allow Sen. Ted Cruz to appear on Meet the Press. Todd said he wasn’t sure he would because Cruz isn’t credible and may just be there to gaslight viewers. That led to a broader points about objectivity and fairness. According to Todd, the GOP has repeated claims of media bias to the point where even some liberals believe it.

The Duplicitous Ruling Elites Have Awakened the American People

Why Private Schools Have Gone Woke

Meet the National Association of Independent Schools, which enforces diversity, equity, and inclusion standards as a requirement for accreditation

The Dalton School hosts an annual conference for New York City private schools on diversity, equity, and inclusion. This May, it was Rodney Glasgow’s turn to deliver the keynote address. Glasgow, a longtime school administrator who has founded multiple DEI consultancies, used his speech to address the elephant in the room: the parental pushback to “antiracism” at Dalton and other elite private schools, which made national headlines after Dalton headmaster Jim Best resigned amid the uproar.

Australia Is the Canary in the Coal Mine of Eroding Liberty

Without a Bill of Rights, the land down under quickly goes where America may eventually follow.

Over the weekend, Australians protested against a new round of lockdowns imposed to curtail the spread of the latest COVID-19 variant. Police arrested dozens of participants, vowed to hunt down more, and threatened mass arrests in the event of future acts of dissent. It was a chilling reminder of how far a nominally free country can fall when the public panics and officials see opportunity to expand power.
