Trudeau rhetoric can’t change Canada’s fiscal reality

It’s imperative that Canadians distinguish between convenient political rhetoric and reality when it comes to the country’s finances, particularly as we approach a potential fall election. The Trudeau government continues to promulgate three assertions that must be clarified.

First, that the government lowered personal income taxes for the middle-class. While the Trudeau government in 2016 reduced the middle-income tax rate from 22.0 per cent to 20.5 per cent, it simultaneously eliminated a number of tax credits such as children’s fitness, public transit and income-splitting for couples with young children. By eliminating these tax credits, the government increased personal income taxes for all Canadians who previously claimed these credits.

Foreign Actors like CBC likely to interfere in elections say Cyber Snoops

Canadian voters are likely to face foreign cyber interference in the next election, say cyber spies

Canadian voters are likely to face some form of foreign cyber interference ahead and during the next federal election, warns Canada’s cyber spy agency, including false information about voter fraud.

However, that meddling is unlikely to match the scale and influence as seen in the U.S., says the Communications Security Establishment (CSE) in a new threat assessment report published Friday.

“We assess that an increasing number of threat actors have the cyber tools, the organizational capacity, and a sufficiently advanced understanding of Canada’s political landscape to direct cyber activity against future Canadian federal elections, should they have the strategic intent,” reads the report.

Media Bites Hard, Yet Again, for Another ‘Russia, Russia, Russia’ Story on Trump

The Guardian is pushing a story claiming documents showing the Kremlin met to agree to push “mentally unstable” Donald Trump during the 2016 election and that they had some undefined “kompromat” on Trump. Now there’s no detail as to what this alleged kompromat is, much less any evidence to support the claim.

How Trudeau Transformed Canada Into A Politically Sick Society

Since the day Justin Trudeau became prime minister, Canada has undergone its greatest transformation in modern history. From the moment our Liberal government purchased establishment media, these entities have treated the situation as if it is as natural as spring rain.

FERNANDO: We Need To Ban Vaccine Passports

As we’ve learned during the past year and a half, governments cannot be trusted to respect our rights and freedoms.

Rather, it seems the only thing we can ‘trust’ is that politicians will grab as much power as possible and treat the Charter of Rights & Freedoms like a joke.

Here is what we know about the Lambda variant in Canada

There is a newly emerging strain of COVID-19 in Canada that was flagged as a “variant of interest” by the World Health Organization in June.

Beware of the Strong Cities Network

Boiled down to its essence, the SCN is actually a new law-enforcement body whose laws will govern participating cities, including New York, Atlanta, Denver, and Minneapolis, that have already signed on as members. Law-enforcement measures for these cities will dovetail with or emanate from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue and the United Nations, not from the U.S. Constitution and locally elected officials and the laws governing them. In her remarks at the unveiling of this new organization, Attorney General Lynch claimed that the new arrangement would work toward being “an alliance of nations” and would aspire to be “a global community.”

NASA, Washington Post, and Other Media Outlets Need To Get the Facts About Climate, the Moon Wobble and Flooding Straight

A report from NASA claiming natural shifts in the moon’s “wobble,” will combine with climate change to increase coastal flooding in the 2030s, is prominently featured on Google News today in a search for the term “climate change.” The report, published in Nature, wrongly points to climate change as contributing to expected increases in incidences of flooding. The media unquestioningly follows NASA down this false path. Data show that any contribution of climate change to sea level rise in the next one to two decades will be minuscule, on the order of millimeters, and less than two centimeters at worst. This is within the margin of natural sea level rise and certainly far below any detectable contribution of climate change to moon induced flooding beginning in 2030.

Squad member Cori Bush reportedly spent BIG bucks on private security while working to defund police

Squad member Rep. Cori Bush (D-MO) reportedly spent nearly $70,000 on private security during the last three months while she hypocritically called for defunding the police according to her campaign filing documents.

Between April 15 and June 28, her campaign doled out $54,120.92 in payments for “security services” to RSAT Security Consulting, a sketchy New York firm that touted a shadowy online presence until very recently. Federal Election Commission records also show that she paid $15,000 to Nathaniel Davis for “security services” over that same period.
