CNN is blasted hard for declaring the CDC is ‘giving limited freedoms’ to COVID-vaccinated Americans

CNN was blasted by social media users after posting a tweet Monday that seemed to suggest that Americans’ constitutional rights and civil liberties now flow through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and are directly related to their vulnerability to, or protection from, COVID-19.

Trudeau Labels Canada’s Economic Recession a “She-cession”

Yesterday on International Women’s Day rather than addressing the economic downturn Canada is facing with real solutions Prime Minister Justin Trudeau instead turned Canadians’ economic troubles into an opportunity to virtue signal, labeling the economic recession a “she-cession”.

Yes, that is correct Trudeau is actually trying to make the economic pains of Canadians a gendered issue.

The People Have Spoken! Majority of Britons Want Harry & Meghan Stripped of Titles After ‘Betrayal’ of Family

Coronavirus variant B.1.1.7 between 30 to 100 per cent more deadly than previous strains: major UK study

LONDON, March 10 (Reuters) — A highly infectious variant of COVID-19 that has spread around the world since it was first discovered in Britain late last year is between 30% and 100% more deadly than previous strains, researchers said on Wednesday.

In a study that compared death rates among people in Britain infected with the new SARS-CoV-2 variant, known as B.1.1.7, against those infected with other strains, scientists said the new variant had “significantly higher” mortality.

This is the strain that took Mom. I wonder if the hospitals rather than just long term care homes are being sued on behalf of patients who contracted the disease under their care?

Clyburn Background Check Bill Would Allow FBI To Indefinitely Delay Firearm Transactions

Should the government be able to deny your right to obtain a firearm, simply by failing to complete a mandatory background check? Anti-gun Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) apparently thinks so.

On March 1st, Clyburn introduced H.R. 1446, the so-called “Enhanced Background Checks Act.” Under the bill, the FBI could indefinitely block federally licensed dealers (FFLs) from transferring firearms, simply by failing to provide decisions on the background checks FFLs are required to run on their customers.

A Permanent National Guard Force At The Capitol?

Following the hearings that were held to examine what exactly happened during and leading up to the January 6 riot on Capitol Hill, a task force was established to make recommendations to improve security and prevent such unrest in the future. They’ve come back with their first findings now and one of the first suggestions on the list is a bit of an eye-opener. The team, led by retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré, suggests establishing a permanent National Guard unit in Washington, D.C. with the ability to respond quickly in the event of another attack of that sort. While that may seem like a fine idea at first glance, there are a number of factors that complicate the situation quite a bit.
