You spoiled Americans need to reset your expectations when it comes to the COVID vaccines. That’s the message coming from a variety of health authorities interviewed by USA Today this week. They also spoke to some patients who expressed their shock and surprise after testing positive despite being fully vaccinated, boosted, wearing masks religiously, and avoiding crowds.

Syrian fighters ready to join next phase of Ukraine war

BEIRUT (AP) — During a visit to Syria in 2017, Vladimir Putin lavished praise on a Syrian general whose division played an instrumental role in defeating insurgents in the country’s long-running civil war. The Russian president told him his cooperation with Russian troops “will lead to great successes in the future.”

Now members of Brig. Gen. Suheil al-Hassan’s division are among hundreds of Russian-trained Syrian fighters who have reportedly signed up to fight alongside Russian troops in Ukraine, including Syrian soldiers, former rebels and experienced fighters who fought for years against the Islamic State group in Syria’s desert.

Rochdale victim: ‘I was groomed at 14, then the courts came for my children’

Her evidence helped put abusers behind bars, yet ‘Amber’ was vilified by the authorities and says her torment will never end

Between 2008 and 2010, a child abuse ring that came to be known as part of the “grooming gang” phenomenon operated in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. Girls aged between 13 and 15 were trafficked, prostituted, raped and assaulted by the gang.

One victim was forced to have sex with at least 20 men in one night; another was forced to drink vodka, and was vomiting over the side of the bed while being raped by “countless men”.

The perpetrators would pass the girls to their friends, often to settle a debt. The victims, many of whom were from difficult backgrounds and therefore particularly vulnerable, were plied with drugs, alcohol and fast food, and then taken to “chill houses” across the north of England to be abused. One 13-year-old victim became pregnant and had an abortion. Some of the men involved were arrested, tried and found guilty. But not all.

Deterring China: U.S. Should Arm Taiwan to the Hilt – Now

Wrong signals.”

That is what the Eastern Theater Command of China’s People’s Liberation Army said on April 15, referring to Washington’s encouragement of Taiwan. That day, the Chinese military sent fighter and bomber aircraft as well as frigates near the island republic.

China’s exercises, said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian, were “a countermeasure to the U.S. negative actions recently, including the lawmakers’ visit to Taiwan.” Beijing, he said, would “continue to take strong measures to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Twitter employees slam ‘a–hole’ Elon Musk, ask whether he’s manipulating stock

Most Twitter employees don’t think Elon Musk has the company’s best interests in mind, with some calling him an “a—hole” and questioning whether he is “pumping and dumping” the company’s stock, according to a new survey.

A whopping 68% of Twitter employees disapprove of Musk’s Musk’s tweets about company strategy, which have included musings about potentially eliminating ads and making Twitter a paid service, the poll shows.

I hope Musk turns the Twitter takeover into a Holy Crusade.

One of the suspects who allegedly opened fire in a South Carolina shopping mall as part of a gunfight that left 14 people injured will be allowed to return to work with an ankle monitor while on house arrest after being released on bail.

Ukraine war: Dramatic images appear to show sinking Russian warship Moskva

Dramatic pictures – and a credible video – allegedly showing the Russian warship Moskva before it sank last week have appeared online.

The video and images match the shape and design of the missile cruiser.

Russia says a fire onboard caused ammunitions to explode and the vessel sank as it was being towed in a storm. Ukraine says it hit it with missiles.

The new images do not immediately back the claims of either side – but there is no sign of a storm at the time.

An inside look at Patrick Brown’s pitch for selling Conservative party memberships

OTTAWA — An apology to the Tamil community, improving cricket infrastructure, and putting a visa office in Kathmandu are just some of the promises Patrick Brown has made in hopes of becoming the next leader of the Conservative Party of Canada.

But a search for these pledges on the campaign website, and social media accounts of the Brampton, Ont., mayor come up empty.

They appear only to exist in pitches he delivered to leaders and members of the country’s Tamil and Nepalese community, whom he’s courting, among other immigrant and racialized Canadians, to buy party memberships as the clock ticks down to the June 3 deadline.

Dozens arrested at Sweden riots sparked by planned Quran burnings … and Canadians don’t know Islam!

More than 40 people have been arrested after violent clashes in Sweden between police and people angry at plans by a far-right group to burn copies of the Quran.

Three people were injured in Norrkoping on Sunday when officers fired warning shots at rioters, police said.

The violence was sparked by a series of rallies organised by the Danish-Swedish politician Rasmus Paludan.

He says he has burned a copy of Islam’s holy book and wants to do so again.

Canadians consider certain religions damaging to society: survey

… Lawendy says Canadians have a misperception of what Islam is, often believing it to be a violent religion founded on extremism, due to “how it’s portrayed in the media.”

“If Canadians actually knew what it meant to be Muslim, they’d be encouraging Muslim immigration,” she says.

Says full of shit Islamist apologist …

So far there have been ZERO Ukraine Refugee Riots over the Quran or other issues.

David Hogg has something to tell you about his father

David Hogg – Ferret Faced Fraud

On February 14, 2018, thanks to a complete systemic failure at the school and county level, Nikolas Cruz was able to murder 17 of his classmates at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High School. David Hogg, a student at the school, was not among the injured nor was he even in the line of fire (which is, of course, a good thing). Nevertheless, by becoming one of the loudest voices calling for gun control following the shootings, Hogg managed to get a place at Harvard. He also gained a huge Twitter presence, which is a source of endless amusement for anyone who has a triple-digit IQ.

Lia Thomas and the Contradiction Between Liberty and Equality A tyrannical view of equality yields subjugation and mediocrity.

Kurt Vonnegut’s 1961 short story “Harrison Bergeron” stands apart as one of dystopian literature’s most poignant works, making up for its brevity in striking social commentary. The tale is set in the United States, year 2081. The newly ratified 211th, 212th, and 213th constitutional amendments demand that all men be equalized — nobody is allowed to be stronger, smarter, or more beautiful than anybody else. It’s a prescient tale that has much to say about our current struggle over equality and liberty, especially in the debate about transgender athletes in women’s sports.

A Shooter Puts Critical Race Theory into Practice

NYC Dems were too busy fighting white supremacy to stop a black supremacist terrorist.

Mayor Eric Adams, who had called white people “crackers”, claimed that he needed his brother to head his security because of an “increase in white supremacy” in New York City.

The New York City Board of Health falsely claimed that racism was a “public health crisis” and a public school told parents to abolish their “whiteness”.
