The Left Is Trying to Gradually Purge Us from the Entire Internet

We’ve learned by now that the purges happening on social media are not just aimed at extremists, as the left first claimed. They are gradually moving the goalposts to snare the rest of us conservatives too. Toward the beginning of the purges, the left claimed they were just banning people who incited or threatened violence. Then it moved to banning people who posted “false” memes (never mind that many of these memes were merely opinions or satire). Now the excuses are flying like crazy. Anything from questioning the results of the presidential election to promoting MAGA, which they’re claiming is synonymous with white supremacy, is suddenly off limits.

BARR: Biden’s Executive Actions Will Raise Nanny State To New Heights

If there was any doubt that Jan. 20 signaled the rebirth of the nanny state, the slew of executive actions signed by President Joe Biden on his first days in the Oval Office confirmed that it has returned with a vengeance.

In addition to revealing his long love affair with regulatory power, Biden made clear that virtually any actions undertaken by his predecessor were ipso facto bad to the bone and must be revoked, rescinded and condemned.

Dr. Jennifer Kwan responds to Ontario Minister of Health Christine Elliott on Twitter to include the death total that the Minister leaves out of her daily update on social media

‘O Canada’ without the cross – why it’s time to revisit the lyrics of the national anthem

In my view, the French and bilingual lyrics of O Canada now need revision. The bilingual version uses two lines from the French version. First, “ton histoire est une épopée des plus brillants exploits,” officially translated as “your history is an epic of brilliant deeds.” I embrace this line as an eloquent evocation of the best moments of our history and an aspirational goal for the future.

The second line, however, gives me pause: “car ton bras sait porter l’épée, il sait porter la croix,” translated as “for your [Canada’s] arm knows how to wield the sword, your arm knows how to carry the cross.” These words, of course, reflect the importance of the Catholic church in 19th century Quebec, the context in which O Canada was written. But to me, as a Jew, they now sound non-inclusive and obsolete.

Trudeau Travel Restrictions are Too Much, Too Late

When all the Kings horses and all the Kings men had vacationed all over (and some got caught) it’s now time for those of us who had ever dreamed of sunshine and warmth to shut up and stay at home. So, you can’t go to the Caribbean or Mexico (or you may through the USA as many are doing) where the variant is very low, but you can actually go to India, the USA, South Africa, the UK, and Europe where the cases of COVID are very high.

Armed Antifa Occupy Hotel, Shout at Cops: ‘Pigs in a Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon’

On Sunday, a group of homelessness activists who dressed up in antifa-style black bloc, armed with batons and knives, entered the lobby of the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Wash., demanding the hotel open rooms for homeless people. Antifa agitators allegedly assaulted an employee while other employees hid in a basement room for more than six hours. The police eventually secured the hotel, but in the skirmish, agitators chanted, “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon,” a death threat against cops.
