Dan Aykroyd Supports Cancel Culture in Comedy: Offensive Material ‘Should Be Rightly Canceled for Its Hurtfulness’

By his own standards, Aykroyd would have to renounce some of his most famous performances and their lucrative residuals. They include the 1983 movie Trading Places, in which he appears in black face, and NBC’s Saturday Night Live, in which he famously used the phrase “Jane, you ignorant slut” to demean a woman during the “Weekend Update” segment.

“Woke” Doritos Crosses the Line with Offensive New Ad: Old Man Dies and Finds Gay Lover in Heaven

It’s high time that conservatives start waking up to the role that corporations have played in the moral degradation of the Western world.

The countries that used to be governed with a collective sense of Judeo-Christian values have long been under attack by an aggressive secularism that, far from simply seeking to divorce the culture from religion, has replaced our longstanding traditions with a new cult of progressivism.

Mainstream media comes to the defense of ‘Gender Queer’ author after parents claim it features ‘child pornography’

A controversial book that caused firestorms of parental anger upon being found in the libraries of public schools from Virginia to Rhode Island, showing graphic sexual imagery about the sexual and gender identity awakening of teenagers, is being defended by the mainstream press and publishers.

Transgender Madness: Wisconsin School District Taking Away This Basic Right from Parents

Does your child have issues with gender dysphoria? Are they identifying as a different gender at school and asking teachers to use their preferred pronouns? Do you think this is something you, as their mother or father, should have some control over?

Check your parental privilege, say school administrators in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

In a letter to parents on Oct. 22, the Oshkosh Area School District — saying it was “committed to doing what is best for students and fostering a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment for all” as well as “partnering with families to support the unique needs of every student” — announced it would no longer ask for parental consent if their child changed their gender pronouns or name in the classroom environment.

Whitlock: Dave Chappelle, Floyd Mayweather, and Enes Kanter strike mammoth blows in the culture war

Monday felt like a tipping point in the social justice culture war raging across Silicon Valley’s social media apps.

One of the key purposes of Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook is the control of celebrity influencers. The apps reinforce the message of the handlers of athletes and other celebrities.

When presidential candidate Joe Biden says, “You ain’t black” if you fail to vote for me, it’s the job of Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to affirm that sentiment. Once the social media apps affirm the belief, multimillionaire celebrities know what positions they should take.

St. Mary’s College in Notre Dame, Indiana, opens ‘LGBTQ+ Center’ on campus

The Catechism of the Catholic Church clearly enunciates that, based on Sacred Scripture, “which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity,” the Church has consistently instructed the faithful that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.” “Under no circumstances can they be approved.”

WATCH: Justin Trudeau can’t say “LGBTQ”

As I’ve noted many times, the sexual revolution is moving at such a rapid pace that not even her most dedicated adherents can keep up. Trudeau not only made the mistake of defending abortion as a woman’s right (when everyone knows that men can get pregnant, too), he even forgot the appropriate (and ever-changing) acronym for the alphabet soup squad. Enjoy.

How Social-Justice Extremists Spawned a Generation of ‘Progressive’ Antisemites

In 2019, the Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS) division of Stanford University’s Student Affairs department launched a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) training program with a mandate to instruct students about institutional racism. Instead, the program provided a case study of how radicalized forms of social-justice indoctrination can fuel antisemitism.

Earlier this year, Dr Ron Albucher, a Stanford psychiatrist and a former CAPS director, along with his colleague Sheila Levin, an eating-disorder specialist in the same department, filed complaints with federal and state civil-rights agencies regarding what they alleged to be “severe and persistent anti-Jewish harassment.” “Unfortunately, what we found was that the very program meant to help build an inclusive environment for all members of the Stanford community was, in fact, perpetrating the invidious discrimination it sought to eliminate,” wrote the complainants in an open letter published by the Stanford Daily last month.

The problem with white saviours

There is a logical fallacy called the Kafka Trap. It describes the condition of always being wrong. If you are accused of something, and you deny it, that denial is taken as an admission of guilt; only a guilty party would go out of their way to deny an allegation of wrongdoing. Alternatively, if you say nothing in the face of the allegation, that’s also an admission of guilt: your silence means you have accepted the allegation.

Many describe Franz Kafka’s disenchanted fables as tragic. And this is certainly true. But they are also farcical. To watch someone being relentlessly wrong can be grimly enjoyable — as long as you’re not the person in question.

The term white feminism, as it is commonly used today, is a classic example of the Kafka Trap. If you show too much interest in the lives of people of colour, you risk being accused of white saviourism — which is another way of saying you have a suspiciously condescending attitude to people of colour. But if you don’t show enough interest, you are insufficiently intersectional. You only care about the white, middle-class cisgendered women in your social circle.

Has anyone noticed how medical data ignores the “multiple genders” nonsense?

Syndicated radio host and conservative commentator Erick Erickson (full disclosure: I worked for Erickson a couple years writing for his “Resurgent” website) asked a very intriguing question recently that is not getting nearly enough attention.

“Why is there no data on any genders other than males and females getting COVID?”

It may seem an intentionally provocative question, tailor-made for culture warrior types. But in truth, there’s a fundamentally instructive point being made by Erickson that progressive sexual revolutionaries are desperate to shroud.
