But in Loudoun County, Va., students who attempt to enter school maskless could face arrest. According to a leaked email, a security official for Loudoun County Public Schools coached principals on obtaining a warrant to arrest students who attempted to enter school maskless.

In a lesson on human genetics, Needham High School biology students learned to use inclusive language when discussing sex. An accompanying slideshow, which Parents Defending Education released last week, defines gender as an individual’s “psychological sense of self” and asks students to research “gender fluidity” in nature.
In case you missed it, the funeral for slain NYPD Detective Jason Rivera was held on Friday. The procession route for the funeral was lined with thousands upon thousands of police officers and other first responders. They created a type of human wave as the hearse passed by, all raising their hands to salute their fallen comrade. Some of the aerial views of the tribute were truly stunning.
The American Federation of Teachers is buying 1.7 million Newsguard licenses for teachers nationwide. They will then share them with millions of students. Since students turn to the internet in increasing numbers annually, they will be highly susceptible to stinted propaganda coming from a source that touts itself as a “fact-checker.” In short, Newsguard is cloaking cleverly concealed inaccuracies and, in some instances, flagrant conflicts of interests as facts. This is eerily reminiscent of the methodology employed by Joseph Goebbels in NAZI Germany.
When 15-year-old Ellah Nahum and a few other unvaccinated students showed up at Los Angeles’ New West Charter School on Tuesday, January 18, after winter break, they brought lunches, backpacks, and negative COVID-19 tests, hoping to be allowed in. They’d been negotiating with school administrators since early October, when the school had announced that a vaccine mandate would go into effect in January. Prior to returning to school from winter break, they’d requested a hearing, attempting to find alternative options to getting vaccinated.
When they showed up at school around 7:30 a.m., they sailed through the first checkpoint, run by two newly hired security guards who were satisfied with the girls’ proof of negative test conducted in the last 24 hours. It was the second checkpoint, run by school administrators demanding proof of vaccination, that created trouble for the teens. Several hours later, after tense negotiations between administrators, teens, and their parents, the school called Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) to the scene, and cordoned the teens off, denying them chairs and bathroom breaks, according to the girls.
More parents are discovering, and some taking legal action against, alleged “secretive” attempts on the part of activist teachers and school officials in indoctrinating young children in an LGBTQ agenda.
As a rule, leftists are pretty stealthy about expressing their true feelings, preferring to pose as “moderates” until the time comes to actually impose their radical agendas.
As RedState reported previously, a judge in New York struck down the state’s mask mandate, put in place by interim Gov. Kathy Hochul, making it illegal for schools to deny access to students who chose not to wear a mask. While that decision has been appealed, there is no stay in effect and the governor’s order is currently not law.
Biden did the same thing. When the courts struck down his vax mandates, he said ‘Do it anyway’. We are no longer a nation of laws.
Teachers, unions and “free speech advocates” argue that more school curriculum transparency would be equivalent to “educational gag orders,” experts told NBC News.
State lawmakers in at least 12 states across the U.S. have introduced legislation to promote more school transparency by requiring teachers to post educational materials online, NBC News reported. Conservatives see more transparency as a way to prevent controversial curricula such as race-based education, Critical Race Theory (CRT) and sexually graphic books.
Every classroom should have cameras so parents can see and hear exactly what their children are being taught.
Race trumps knowledge when it comes to training new teachers, an Ontario court has determined. It’s a decision that defies common sense and places teachers’ rights ahead of students’ needs.
Critical Race Theory (CRT) teaches children to view everything through the lens of race and power. It teaches children that race is more important in their lives and to their future accomplishments than their own hard work, dedication, intelligence or character.
