Upset over LGBTQ books, a Michigan town defunds its library in tax vote

What started as a fight over an LGBTQ-themed graphic novel may end with the closure of a west Michigan public library.

Voters in Jamestown Township, a politically conservative community in Ottawa County, rejected renewal Tuesday of a millage that would support the Patmos Library. That vote guts the library’s operating budget in 2023 — 84 percent of the library’s $245,000 budget comes from property taxes collected through a millage.

Without a millage, the library is likely to run out of money sometime late next year, said Larry Walton, library board president.

Florida school district doubles down on offering porn in schools

In March, I began documenting schools across the country carrying the pornographic book, Gender Queer. The book details sexually explicit acts (e.g., oral sex) and is becoming increasingly accessible to school children. I took a screenshot of the book’s availability at a school district in Florida, Hillsborough County School District (HCSD), and saved it with the others.

This week, I decided to go back and review the schools that previously offered the book to see if it was still available, as Gender Queer has faced intense scrutiny for its provocative content. HCSD, which had Gender Queer available in March, suddenly appeared to have removed the book, with the website saying the availability was “unknown.” Another page said it that was “unavailable.”

Seeing this I thought, “Wow… maybe this district isn’t totally rotten to the core and quietly removed the book.” I hadn’t seen any media coverage about HCSD, which is the 7th largest school district in the country, removing the book. I decided to reach out to HCSD’s library team via email to get some information on the new status.

The response was quick and the HCSD Director of Public Relations, Erin Maloney, explained that Gender Queer “has not been removed” and it was simply a technical error.

New push to stop Trans-Extremist Stonewall getting taxpayers’ cash after legal battle raised fears over group’s influence

Public sector bodies are to be told to stop giving money to Stonewall after a legal battle raised fears over the group’s influence.

Whitehall departments have already been told to cut their ties but some have only placed their £2,500 annual membership fees under review.

And the Bank of England, the Armed Forces and Scotland Yard remain signed up to Stonewall’s diversity champions scheme.

An employment tribunal ruled last week that barrister Allison Bailey had been discriminated against by Garden Court Chambers over her ‘gender-critical’ beliefs that no one can change biological sex.

This marks an encouraging turn of events in Britain. Stonewall has been knocked down, they are the sort of extremists Justin Trudeau sucks up to.

Archbishop of Canterbury forced to allow clergy to reject declaration that marriage is ‘between a man and a woman’

The archbishop of Canterbury has been forced to allow Anglican bishops from all over the world the option of rejecting a statement on sexuality when they meet in Canterbury this week for the Lambeth conference.

The U-turn from Justin Welby, the leader of the global Anglican communion and the conference president, came late on Monday night, hours before 650 delegates began arriving for the 12-day meeting.

Schools aren’t in session but that won’t stop the radical activists

Indoctrination of the innocent doesn’t seem to stop even during the summer months.

Even though schools aren’t in session, woke activists are springing out of the woodwork every day to keep radical trans/LGBTQ ideology on the front burner.

Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) trustee Karen Meissner is promoting a “binding” workshop for this Saturday at the Kitchener public library.

Disney’s woke, gay, political agenda and your kids

Parents pay for the tickets and the best way to send Disney a message is to refuse to let your kids go to see the new LGBT propaganda films

We’ve a sad story to tell. And that’s of the predictable demise of the once great Disney Studios that got its start under Walt Disney in 1923, creating cartoons for kids. This giant of the entertainment industry went on to cater to youngsters with such great movies as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Dumbo, Bambi, the creation of The Mickey Mouse Club and their myriad of theme parks focused on kids’ entertainment.

Ted Cruz says Supreme Court legalizing gay marriage in 2015 was ‘clearly wrong’

Texas Senator Ted Cruz has argued the Supreme Court should never have legalized gay marriage – branding the decision ‘clearly wrong’.

The Texas senator discussed the ‘vulnerability’ of Obergefell v Hodges in 2015 and claimed it ‘ignored two centuries of our nation’s history’.

On his show, Verdict with Ted Cruz, he called for the rights to be handed back to states across the country.

Not Enough Censorship: GLAAD FAILS Big Tech Platforms on LGBTQ ‘Safety’ Online

Woke pro-LGBTQ group GLAAD just gave five Big Tech platforms a failing score on LGBTQ “safety” online.

“They don’t have enforcement,” GLAAD CEO Sarah Kate Ellis claimed July 14 on CBS Mornings.

Radical LGBTQ+ organization GLAAD published a report giving five major social media companies failing grades for “safety” related to LGBTQ+ users. Ironically, GLAAD complained that Big Tech is censoring LGBTQ+ people online, while the organization simultaneously demanded a massive increase in censorship of supposedly bothersome content.

P.E.I. church criticized for post about webinar designed to ‘protect’ children during Pride Month

Child’s eye view Toronto Gay Pride Parade

A member of a Summerside, P.E.I., church is speaking out against a social media post he calls “homophobic,” and looking for a new faith community.

In the post, the Summerside Community Church directed its followers to a June 17 webinar offering “practical advice for parents and grandparents to protect children from what’s happening during Pride Month.”

The event included B.C. pastor Kevin Cavanaugh interviewing Wilna Van Beek, author of When Gay Comes Home, who details her journey working against her same-sex attractions by embracing Jesus instead.

Given the often louche behavior at pride events & parades advice to parents is entirely appropriate. Turning this into a grievance is just wrong headed.

Trudeau Bans Use Of “Father” And “Mother” For Government Employees

In his dystopian novel “1984,” social visionary George Orwell coined the term “Wordspeak.” Under the leadership of PM Justin Trudeau, its application is a reality in Canadian society. Indeed, the Liberals have become fixated on such terminology. Border-jumpers are not “illegal,” they are “irregular.” It is not a carbon tax, put rather a “price on pollution.”

Now, the Trudeau government establish punitive measures for those using common-place language that has been a part of western culture for a thousand years. Quite the move for a former snow-board instructor turned pseudo-dictator.

Police investigate Ontario town council meeting where speech against LGBTQ2+ community was made

Ontario Provincial Police are looking into the Tuesday council meeting in tiny Norwich, Ont., where a man facing criminal charges for taking down Pride flags spoke for half an hour about his opposition to the LGBTQ2+ community, particularly transgender people.

“I can tell you that we are aware of the council meeting and information is being reviewed at this time,” said Oxford OPP Const. Patti Cote.

Norwich Township council has released a statement saying it had asked for legal advice before allowing businessman Jacob (Jake) Dey to address the Tuesday meeting, leaving many “hurt and unsafe” by “what many consider hateful comments.”

Masses in some Niagara Catholic schools cancelled by priests as Pride flags raised

Just days prior to the start of Pride Month, Niagara Catholic District School Board sent a letter announcing its decision — for the first time — to fly the Pride flag at all board schools and sites throughout the month of June.

The letter, written by director of education Camillo Cipriano, said Niagara Catholic is flying a locally created version of the flag designed by staff in the president’s office at Brock University.

Cipriano wrote, that while “not all of our families support flying the progress Pride flag … we see the flag as a very clear and public display that all who come to Niagara Catholic schools and sites are welcome, accepted, unconditionally loved and respected as children of God.”

“Not all our families support flying the pride flag … so fuck them”
