Belgium rejects ISIS bomber Salah Abdeslam’s plea not to be extradited to France

A Belgian court on Wednesday rejected French terrorist Salah Abdeslam’s request not to be extradited to France, saying that his claim that it would be a breach of his human rights was not “sufficiently substantiated”.

Abdeslam, 33, was transferred to Belgium from France last summer to be tried by a separate Belgian court for his role in two ISIS-claimed attacks in Brussels in 2016 in which 35 people died. He was found guilty in July on all counts and is expected to be sentenced in the coming days.

His lawyers, however, requested in early September that he not be transferred to France to serve a life sentence without parole, the country’s harshest possible sentence, which was issued by a Paris court in June last year.

Hunter Biden

WASHINGTON (AP) — Hunter Biden was indicted Thursday on federal firearms charges, the latest and weightiest step yet in a long-running investigation into the president’s son.

Elon Musk told Taiwan is ‘not for sale’ after Tesla boss comments on relationship with China

Taiwan has told Elon Musk that it is “not for sale” after the billionaire businessmen waded into the sensitive issue of its relationship with China.

The sharp rebuke from Joseph Wu, the Taiwanese foreign minister, followed a comment from Mr Musk in which he compared the island democracy of 23.5 million to the state of Hawaii.

“Their [Beijing’s] policy has been to reunite Taiwan with China. From their standpoint, maybe it is analogous to Hawaii or something like that, like an integral part of China that is arbitrarily not part of China mostly because … the US Pacific Fleet has stopped any sort of reunification effort by force,” the Tesla owner told the All-In Summit in Los Angeles this week.

Elon loves Communist China.

As young as 14′: More trans teens are seeking irreversible breast removal surgery … after being conned

It has become the most sought-after gender-affirming surgery among transgender adolescents: bilateral mastectomy — removal of the breasts — in teens born female transitioning to males.

While many European countries restrict the irreversible surgery to adults 18 and older and are calling for a more cautious approach to gender-affirming care in minors, plastic surgeons in Canada have performed “top surgery” on teenagers as young as 14.

Gender-affirming care is just another term for the mutilation of children by depraved nutjobs.

Ouch! Joe Biden gets scorched in Quinnipiac poll

If I were Joe Biden’s chief handler or even one of his hangers-on, I would be in talks with MSNBC about getting a gig as a political analyst.

Why?

The latest poll numbers look pretty scary for Joe Biden, begging the question of whether even the Democrats could scrape together enough ballots through nefarious means to carry him across the finish line.

Did feds rely on poorly sourced info to invoke Emergencies Act?

A team of stressed RCMP staff Googled news media articles to quote right back to news media after the public safety minister told reporters to direct their questions to law enforcement: Lawyer and investigative journalist.

OTTAWA, Ont. – A Freedom of Information request reveals that law enforcement may have used ambiguous information about Canadian Forces veteran Jeremy MacKenzie and Diagolon, which in large part, led to the federal government invoking the Emergencies Act, say two investigative journalists.

Through Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy (FOIPOP), independent journalists Caryma Sa’d and Elisa Hategan obtained 1,000 pages of internal RCMP documents on MacKenzie and Diagolon. The documents show that although the RCMP were investigating Diagolon, they didn’t consider them a group, a militia, or a security threat.

A long but revealing read examining how manufacturing hate to criminalize dissent became standard practice with the Liberal government, its media minions, their willing collaborators in law enforcement and the usual suspect NGO’s.

It is disturbing how easily an extreme left political vendetta can be palmed off as an anti-hate crusade based on the dubious “expertise” of a few self-appointed guardians of social cohesion.

These practices were first institutionalized in human rights commissions in Canada and have now spread throughout society to include professional licensing boards and our financial system.

Carney on ‘Kudlow’: A UAW Strike Will Be Biden’s Fault Because His Policies Have Destroyed Autoworkers’ Wages

” … Kudlow observed that the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) is a major factor in the negotiations because “a lot less labor is necessary” to make an EV than a traditional gas-powered vehicle. Kudlow cited a claim made by Kevin Hassett, the former chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers in the Trump administration, that the auto industry could lose as many as 500,000 jobs due to the EV transition.”

The Elephant in the room, fewer workers earning lower wages, no wonder FORD is going full Electric.

Trudeau government’s latest scam to sell Canadian passports ripe for abuse says Star

This program aims to attract startups to Canada. Critics say it’s being used as ‘a backdoor way into the country’

They come from every corner of the world with big dreams and ideas, looking for a base and investment capital to plant the seeds of their startup enterprises — and potential permanent residence in Canada.

So much is at stake for their success — and for Canada’s Start-Up Visa (SUV) immigration program, which gives these entrepreneurs a pathway for permanent residence by harnessing their business innovations and brilliance.

NASA releases UFO report, says new science techniques needed to better understand them

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — NASA said Thursday that the study of UFOs will require new scientific techniques, including advanced satellites as well as a shift in how unidentified flying objects are perceived.

The space agency released the findings after a yearlong study into UFOs.

In its 33-page report, an independent team commissioned by NASA cautioned that the negative perception surrounding UFOs poses an obstacle to collecting data. But officials said NASA’s involvement should help reduce the stigma around what it calls UAPs, or unidentified anomalous phenomena.

NASA Director – “No evidence that UAP’s are  extraterrestrial but we don’t know what UAP’s are.”

Global progressive leaders join Trudeau at Montreal summit to discuss threats to democracy, human rights

Tony Blair and British Labour Party Leader Keir Starmer are among a group of global figures set to attend a summit with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Montreal this weekend, in what is being seen as a show of strength of the centre left.

Among the issues to be discussed at the 2023 Global Progress Action Summit, which will also be attended by former prime ministers Jacinda Ardern of New Zealand, Sanna Marin of Finland and Magdalena Andersson of Sweden, are the rise of the right around the world and threats to democracy and human rights, including women’s rights.

Media Bites Biden

‘Every’ Democrat agrees Biden is ‘too old to run’ for re-election: MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough

“Every” Democrat MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough has spoken to privately says President Joe Biden is too old to run for re-election, the “Morning Joe” host said Wednesday.

Scarborough made the revelation during a discussion with Washington Post foreign affairs columnist David Ignatius about his recent editorial calling on the 80-year-old president to not run in 2024 — an opinion also shared by three-quarters of Americans and two-thirds of left-wing voters.

President Biden should not run again in 2024

… Biden would carry two big liabilities into a 2024 campaign. He would be 82 when he began a second term. According to a recent Associated Press-NORC poll, 77 percent of the public, including 69 percent of Democrats, think he’s too old to be effective for four more years. Biden’s age isn’t just a Fox News trope; it’s been the subject of dinner-table conversations across America this summer.

Reporter calls out Biden’s frequent misstatements at White House briefing: ‘What is going on with the president?’

White House National Security Council John Kirby dodged a question about President Biden’s frequent factual embellishments after the commander-in-chief falsely claimed this week to have been at Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 attacks.

“The president has lied about being at Ground Zero the day after the Sept. 11 attacks, falsely claimed he saw the Pittsburgh bridge collapse, claimed his grandfather died in the hospital days before his birth. What is going on with the president? Is he just believing things that didn’t happen did happen, or is he just randomly making stuff up?” Washington Times reporter Jeff Mordock pointedly asked Kirby in a jaw-dropping moment during Wednesday’s White House press briefing.

On The Bright Side More Dead Canadians Good For The Environment

The average life expectancy for Canadians decreased, and 4 other takeaways from a just-released health report

The data collected mid-way through the pandemic shows the impact of COVID-19, especially when it comes to how long Canadians are living.

The life expectancy for Canadians, which was at a steady incline since the 1980s, began to decline in 2020 and again in 2021, as a direct result of staggering death rates related to COVID-19, as well as substance-related harms that increased during the pandemic. In 2021, the life expectancy at birth dropped to 81.6 from 81.7 in 2020.

David Krayden: Trial of Tamara Lich and Chris Barber Makes Our Country Look Authoritarian

I’ve started calling it the Freedom Trial. Yes, it’s the much-anticipated trial of Freedom Convoy leaders Tamara Lich and Chris Barber. Both are on trial for a myriad of absurd charges: mischief, counselling others to commit mischief, intimidation, and obstructing police. These are the sort of legal entanglement usually reserved for people who get drunk and begin acting up in a most uncivil manner.
