The Justice Department announced the formation on Tuesday of “cross-jurisdictional firearms trafficking strike forces” in five major U.S. cities to track and stop the illegal transfer of firearms.
The strike forces, part of President Joe Biden’s strategy to counter spiking violent crime rates across the nation, will launch within 30 days in the Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C., metropolitan areas in coordination with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives and other local law enforcement offices.

White House chief medical advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci said Tuesday the highly contagious delta variant is the “greatest threat” to the nation’s attempt to eliminate Covid-19.

Earlier this month I felt a dark cloud descending and then it dawned on me that 6 months had passed since Kathy passed away. 4 months for Mom.
It isn’t that I forget, I think of them both every day, it’s just that the passage of time seems so out of sync now.
Kathy’s birthday was in May.
We always celebrated April 1st as well, our first date.
June 25th will be our wedding anniversary.
Birthdays, anniversaries, and all those wonderful little events and traditions that made up and anchored our life together will always be remembered and quietly, wistfully celebrated.
