It’s pretty clear over the last day or so, with statements from both Vladimir Putin and the Chinese during a meeting with the U.S. in Alaska that they think they can step all over Joe Biden and treat him dismissively.
First, as we previously reported, Joe Biden started a pissing contest with Putin. Biden claimed that he told Putin he was soulless during a meeting in 2011 and said in an interview that aired on Wednesday that Putin was a killer.
If the Conservatives want to win the next election, they’ll need a broader coalition of voters behind them.

There’s no reason why anyone would think Earl Beatty Junior and Senior Public School, located in Toronto’s east end Danforth neighbourhood, was the site of any recent pandemic woes.
There are no recent media stories about the school. There’s very little social media chatter. And the school for some reason doesn’t even appear on the Ontario government’s listing of schools that have had reported COVID-19 cases during the past two weeks. (Although it is listed on the TDSB’s page of schools with active cases.)
This mass shooting may not be racially motivated: The killer seems to have been motivated by a sexual addiction and mental health problems. While there are some violent perpetrators who are white, conservative, or Trump supporters, FBI statistics suggest that most anti-Asian violence has come from black perpetrators. Refusing to look at these statistics represents a refusal to take seriously the lives and security of Asian Americans.
