Sainted Irish Mom Update
I was called into the hospital at 3 AM this morning as Mom’s O2 level had dropped into the 70’s.
After an in person chat with the attending physician it was again decided that repositioning and suction would be used as Mom is not a good ventilator candidate.
I sat at Mom’s bedside till nearly 8 am. She is under a med induced sleep but I spoke to her throughout the night and watched as her O2 level climbed from 80 to 90 where it remained stable.
Unfortunately I am garbed up when I visit, gloved, masked, vizor’d and gowned so no congratulatory kiss for Mom.
I am home now hoping to get some rest and will head back to the hospital this afternoon barring an early call from the hospital.
I wish I could say Mom was kicking Covid butt but right now it’s stalemated.
RSBN Suspended From Youtube For 2 Weeks Due To Trump CPAC Speech
RSBN has been suspended from YouTube for two weeks, with live streaming and the ability to upload new videos revoked.
YouTube has also removed the video from their platform, which at last check was approaching nearly four million views.
According to YouTube, this is due to our video of President Trump’s speech at CPAC, which violated their policies on election misinformation.
Canada thanks India as 500,000 doses of Covishield COVID-19 vaccine arrives
Anita Anand, MP for Oakville and Minister of Public Services and Procurement, said in a tweet, “The AZ/CoviShield vaccine is now in Canada. The first tranche of 500,000 doses arrived this morning from Serum Institute of India with 1.5 million more doses to follow. Thank you to all whose hard work made this happen. We look forward to future collaboration.” She had earlier said that another 944,600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines will be reaching Canada this week, of which 444,600 doses are of Pfizer and 500,000 doses of AstraZeneca.
