An AG probe is now a must for Andrew Cuomo: Goodwin

It was a freewheeling conversation in a Manhattan restaurant about how to change Albany. Andrew Cuomo, then New York’s attorney general, was a lock to be elected governor in 2010 and was gaming the hurdles and opportunities.

His conclusion would prove prophetic in ways he couldn’t imagine. “The answer is to do it in two terms,” he told a companion. “Third terms are always a mistake.”

NBC Rushes To Explain Why Crimes Against Asians Aren’t Always Hate Crimes

When is a hate crime not a hate crime? It apparently depends on the ethnicity of the victim and the perpetrator as well. Or at least that’s the message coming from NBC News in an “explainer” they published this weekend. If you’re a white person hanging a noose outside a Black person’s house or painting a swastika on a synagogue, you’re obviously going to be tagged with a hate crime. But what about random attacks on Asian people in the middle of a pandemic that most of the world blames on China? Not so fast there, partner. NBC wants you to know that you need to slow your roll and examine all of the evidence carefully. We wouldn’t want to unjustly accuse somebody, would we?

Hateful Leftists: Velshi and Woke Author Declare that ‘Antigovernment Skepticism’ Among ‘White People’ is Due to Racism

On Saturday morning’s Velshi, MSNBC host Ali Velshi collaborated with author and co-chair of leftist group Color of Change Heather McGhee for a hateful segment where the two leftists declared that all who oppose their policy preferences are racist. Velshi declared that “the false belief that progress and prosperity for people of color comes at the expense of white people has helped prop up racist systems for generations” and McGhee insanely claimed that “there’s such a fierce antigovernment skepticism and suspicion among the majority of white voters” because of the “idea that government is on the side of people of color.”

China has humiliated the Vatican

China has humiliated the Vatican

Beijing shows no intention of honoring its deal with the Catholic Church

Last week, it emerged that the Chinese government has issued new rules for religious ministers in the country. Amid the regulations was a new official process for the appointment of Catholic bishops in the country, one which makes no reference to the Vatican or the deal the Catholic Church and China signed in 2018.

The rules are the latest in a series of pointed humiliations inflicted on the Vatican since it handed over control of the country’s Catholics to the Communist party two years ago.

Countdown to Kamala

President Joe Biden is a shadow of his former self. Long gone is the aggressive, pugnacious, and partisan Democrat who mistreated Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in his confirmation hearings. Today, Americans see a president who is clearly mentally diminished and is getting worse on a daily basis.

Obama is running the White House through Susan Rice. As long as Joe can read from a teleprompter and speak without drooling, he’ll be the face of the administration. As for Kamala, the longer Joe stays in office, the more time she has to gain knowledge and experience, plus consolidate power behind the scenes. There are several options for Joe’s removal: A graceful resignation for health reasons, a scandal (think children), and as a last resort, the 25th Amendment. A Kamala administration will be hailed as a great achievement for women and POC, but the Kenyan and his sidekicks will still be running the country.

Portland Rioters Smash Windows, Harass Diners

Rioters in Portland late Saturday smashed windows, vandalized buildings, and harassed diners.

Video footage showed a group clad in black, dressed in the style favored by the far-left Antifa network marching down the street, stopping to spray paint structures, break windows, and shout at diners.

It’s not a riot till a Starbucks gets trashed.
