Ontario reports 1062 new Wuhan flu cases and Sainted Irish Mudda is not doing well Covid wise

Sainted Irish Mother is being transferred to a new hospital better equipped to treat her for Covid which has worsened overnight.

She was in a physio/rehab facility where she caught the China flu to begin with but they are not suited to treating her worsened condition.

Thankfully she is not being transferred to St. Joe’s that shithole of substandard care and malicious staff where this whole mess started for her before Christmas.

They broke her hearing aids at a replacement cost of 2900.00 bucks to us and kept her immobilized during a Covid lockdown which exasperated a knee condition leaving her unable to walk even with the aid of a Z- Frame, hence her stint at Runnymede to recover use of the knee. I should have pulled her from there but instead allowed the Doctor to convince me of the program’s benefit.

Sarcasticat will be handling most of the blogging today. I am waiting for word on mom  but doubt I will be allowed to see her.

Once she’s landed I hope to be apprised of her condition and update the family.

Please keep Mum in your thoughts and prayers.

In yet another example of the complete grip “race” has on virtually every facet of American society, Boston Public Schools officials have announced that a program with advanced learning classes for high-performing students is being canceled over concerns that the advanced classes serve “disproportionate racial groups.”

Capitol review to recommend adding more fencing, 1,000 officers: report

The draft proposal of recommendations comes just over a month after Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tapped retired Lt. General Russel Honoré to review security around the Capitol in the wake of a mob of former President Trump’s supporters laying siege to the building in an attempt to prevent the certification of President Biden’s Electoral College victory.

How to Be Less Woke — For Dummies

Diversity is not always better than homogeneity. Try to make a diverse balance sheet and you will ruin your company. Make screws that are all diverse and you’ll get millions of complaints from angry users. Try making a diverse gin and tonic and you’ll end up with a gin-watered garden. I know diversity is a sacred word to you, but seriously, it’s better to have a homogeneous and competent group of workers than a wide range of useless diverse ones. The reason is the same reason why a homogeneous workforce is not always better than diversity.

Police brutality against black people happens way less than public thinks

Social movements tap into our most primitive emotions, obscuring the complexities of sociopolitical problems. Reason is traded for ideological fervor and skepticism is swapped with religious dogma. Such was the case in 2020 in the wake of several high-profile cases of alleged police brutality involving black victims. Across the US and Western countries worldwide, activists and average citizens alike vigorously protested against a perceived (but empirically refuted) “epidemic of racist police killings.”

Sources: ‘Conversations’ Pelosi Had With Sgt At Arms About National Guard Presence Factored Into ‘Blender Of Decision Making’ That Led Up To Riot

In the aftermath of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, Former Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving recalled to House Admin how previous discussions with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and her office factored in to his “blender of decision making,” according to three sources with direct knowledge of Irving’s talk with House Admin.

Pelosi’s office had previously impressed upon Irving that the National Guard was to remain off Capitol Grounds, Irving allegedly told House Admin. The discussions, which centered around “optics,” allegedly occurred in the months prior to the Jan. 6 riot, during a time when deployment of federal resources for civil unrest was unpopular with Democrats and many members of Congress.

Left Flips out at Golden Image of Trump in Flip Flops Seen at CPAC

Many folks on the left really just have no sense of humor and seem to be always angry.

And they most definitely can’t take a troll or a joke.

Which is why so many of them flipped out when they saw a gold image of President Donald Trump in shorts and flip-flops being wheeled through the halls of CPAC. Talk about triggered!

The political effort to limit free speech attacks our own values

English essayist Samuel Johnson wrote that “when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully.” I thought of Johnson’s words in preparing to appear before a House committee exploring limitations on free speech, including a campaign by some Democratic members and activists to remove networks like Fox News from cable carriers. As someone who just came over to Fox News as a legal analyst from CBS and the BBC, the hearing concentrated my mind “wonderfully” on the future of free speech and the free press.

Tucker Carlson: The Lie About Who Is Really Privileged In America Today

No Payoff for Oumou Kanoute

Springfield, Massachusetts is one of the toughest cities in the United States, but it was not always that way. Basketball was invented in a gym in Springfield in 1891. The first gasoline-powered engine was built there, as were Indian Motorcycles.

As manufacturing died, so did Springfield, which devolved into a sadly familiar kind of American landscape — drugs, violence, waves of impoverished immigrants. On Wednesday, a man was shot to death on Main Street.
