It’s hard to believe it’s March again

I’m looking forward to reusing this post every March 1.

World Economic Forum deletes Tweet claiming lockdowns improve cities

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has backtracked after it claimed that lockdowns were improving cities.

On Feb. 26, the World Economic Forum put out a video on Twitter with the caption: “lockdowns are quietly improving cities around the world.”

The video showed images of empty streets and idle businesses and claimed that lockdowns led to a drop in carbon emissions and improved air quality.

Supreme Court Rejects Sidney Powell’s Election Fraud Petitions without Further Comment

It wasn’t an earth-shattering Monday morning when it came to Supreme Court orders, but court watchers may have noticed that the justices, without comment or explanation, jettisoned more lingering 2020 election challenges. It happened one week after SCOTUS cleared out several similar cases and the morning after Donald Trump repeated the “stolen” election lie to his loyal followers at CPAC.

Biden’s getting exactly the border crisis he asked for

A new year, a new president, a return of an old problem: unaccompanied children crossing the border in droves.

Thousands of children — usually older teens, 16 or 17, but Border Patrol agents report increasing numbers of kids younger than 13 — are arriving each month from Central America.

On Thursday, a Customs and Border Protection staffer reportedly told top Biden administration officials to expect a peak of 13,000 unaccompanied minors to cross the border in May — the highest level ever.

WATCH: Rob Reiner claims “only strategy” of the GOP is “preserve America for white people, stop people of color from voting”

“To me, Donald Trump is the greatest gift to the Democratic Party you could ever have. There was a very famous quote by Rick Wilson. He wrote a book called ‘Everything Trump Touches Dies,’ and his whole life, whether it’s his businesses or his political career, he is a loser,” Reiner claimed “Ultimately, he lost the White House. He was impeached twice. He lost the Senate. He lost the House. He lost seats in Georgia. To me, the Republican Party is being consumed and taken over by this false idol. You talk about a false idol. You see that golden statue moved into CPAC. I mean, they’re bowing down to a false idol.”

Firefighters ‘terrorized’ by RCMP during search for Nova Scotia gunman still have no answers

The sharp cracking sound of semi-automatic gunfire sent Greg Muise and Darrell Currie crashing to the ground.

The two volunteer firefighters were setting up an evacuation centre at the Onslow-Belmont fire hall for victims of the Nova Scotia killing spree last April 19 when, out of nowhere, bullets began flying.

Some shots went through the side of the building they were in. Others shattered part of the windshield of a firetruck and damaged a stone monument to deceased firefighters set up outside the building’s main entrance.

Fearing for their lives, and knowing an armed gunman was on the loose, Muise and Currie rushed to find safety in the farthest corner of the building, as far away from the sound of gunfire as they could get.

Lie-Filled CNN Analysis Of Trump CPAC Speech

Most notably, Trump’s first post-presidency address, at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Orlando, included his usual lies about the 2020 election. He continued to falsely insist he was the legitimate winner and continued to falsely insist the election was “rigged.”

Okay, I understand no one likes CNN. We don’t like CNN either, and rarely use their articles. If we do, it should be obvious to regular BCF readers that there’s a very good reason. Additionally, we archive the article so 1) CNN can’t revise the archive and 2) so when you visit the link, you’re not actually going to an insane lefty site.

There is knowledge to be gained from knowing your enemy – a la Sun Tzu – and I hope you realize we sort through a huge number of articles trying find ones you’ll find interesting. Please don’t give a kneejerk rejection, and thank you all for reading.

‘Churmosquagogue’ center in Berlin to serve Jews, Christians and Muslims

“The idea is pretty simple,” Roland Stolte, a Christian theologian who helped start the project told The Guardian. “We wanted to build a house of prayer and learning, where these three religions could co-exist while each retaining their own identity.”

Living in an alternate reality.
