Hitler’s multicultural supporters

Mass genocide is the final seductive and murderous fantasy that runs through Islamist groups and through black supremacist movements.

“The world today needs a Hitler,” CNN correspondent Adeel Raja tweeted. Tala Halawa, the BBC’s “Palestinian” specialist, had previously tweeted a rant that included #HitlerWasRight.

Researchers have found that the #HitlerWasRight hashtag was intertwined not just with the usual white supremacists, but with more “progressive” hashtags like #FreePalestine.

Raja, a Pakistani Muslim, and Halawa, who hails from Israel’s so-called ‘West Bank’, don’t fit the image of what people think Hitler’s fanbase looks like, but they’re more typical than you might think.

Rise of the War on White People

We have reached the point where even white people hate white people.

We are accustomed to defining racism as discrimination aimed exclusively at black people and other minorities. The definition must be expanded to include discrimination against whites, which is just as bad as discrimination against blacks or anyone else. What the political left calls “anti-racism” is really code language for racism against white people. An anti-white racial inquisition is poisoning America by contributing to an already divided nation. According to Gallup, the percentage of Americans who agree that black-white relations are good is at a 20-year low.

Attempts to Cancel Canada Day the Latest Escalation in Decades-Old Trend, Say Historians

The trend of questioning the Canadian identity has escalated to the point that some major cities have attempted to cancel or actually cancelled Canada Day celebrations. Historians say the trend’s roots go back decades, but it has gathered significantly more momentum in recent years.

“We have had politicized discussions about our national identity many, many times,” Christopher Dummitt, a history professor at Trent University, told The Epoch Times.

Twitter hinders ‘troll hunters’ battling climate denial

For years, a band of science-loving “troll hunters” hounded climate change deniers off Twitter — but Elon Musk’s takeover has upended their efforts, with many ousted accounts back, pushing fresh disinformation.

Despite the threat climate change poses to the planet, disinformation about it has gone largely unsanctioned on Twitter. But a secretive global community of about 25 scientists and activists, calling themselves Team Ninja Trollhunters (TNT), found a roundabout way to tackle it.

John Ivison: The undermining of Canadians’ trust will continue as long as David Johnston remains

NDP leader Jagmeet Singh has said he won’t end his party’s deal with the Liberals and potentially trigger an election, until confidence in the electoral process is restored.

Don’t hold your breath.

A new Léger poll for the National Post suggests Singh’s hope is analogous to the old trope that the beatings will continue until morale improves.

Debunking the grooming gang debunkers

The focus on this issue is right and proper

“‘Inaccurate’ grooming gang claims putting children at risk” read the Guardian headline, as it reported a new open letter. Hosted by the University of Bedfordshire and signed (so far) by 60 organisations or researchers, it warned the Prime Minister and Home Secretary against making “partial, inaccurate or divisive claims about child sexual abuse”.

What the letter is really worried about is the government’s focus on “group based child sexual exploitation in the community” — commonly known as “grooming gangs”. In the aftermath of the GB News film “Grooming Gangs: Britain’s Shame”, Home Secretary Suella Braverman announced new measures, including a new Grooming Gangs Taskforce, which was one of the policies the documentary called for.

The Revolt of the Farmers

The Dutch government wants farmers to give up their land to save the planet. They’re fighting back.

The Dutch have a particular horror of fascism. They bravely resisted the Nazis during the Second World War, as the German occupation of the Netherlands cut off food and fuel shipments. During the “Hunger Winter,” which lasted from 1944 until the Allied liberation in 1945, at least 22,000 Dutch people died from malnutrition.

That experience branded the national character with a strongly libertarian streak. It also explains why, post-war, the Netherlands created the most successful agricultural economy on the planet out of the ruins.

This Bud’s Definitely Not for You

BUD LIGHT – The King Of Drag Queen Beers

Anheuser-Busch needs to understand the front.

Budweiser conjures up a tapestry of American images: baseball, Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and charred bratwursts to the tunes of “Yankee Doodle” and “The Caisson Song.” Along with the cotton gin, railroads, and Tin Lizzie, it is the symbol of America’s brawny determination and purposeful citizenry. There is even a limited-edition Budweiser beer stein celebrating the Norman Rockwell centennial, 1894–1994. Anheuser-Busch is the iconic beer enterprise that produces some of the most glorious and memorable advertisements in corporate America — and, unfortunately, we don’t get to see the Bud Clydesdales until the Super Bowl.

AI: War crimes evidence erased by social media platforms

Evidence of potential human rights abuses may be lost after being deleted by tech companies, the BBC has found.

Platforms remove graphic videos, often using artificial intelligence – but footage that may help prosecutions can be taken down without being archived.

Meta and YouTube say they aim to balance their duties to bear witness and protect users from harmful content.

But Alan Rusbridger, who sits on Meta’s Oversight Board, says the industry has been “overcautious” in its moderation.

China’s CCP: World’s Most Dangerous Transnational Criminal Organization

China’s regime is trafficking illegal drugs, protected wildlife, and humans. It is laundering cash and participating in ransomware attacks. It steals intellectual property. The ruling group, as a matter of state policy, murders people for their organs.

The Chinese state is not only a dangerous international actor, it is also a common criminal. Perhaps we should say it is an uncommon or state criminal, the most powerful and insidious kind.

What is the world’s largest transnational criminal organization? At 96.7 million members, it is the Communist Party of China.
