Reality Is Inconvenient – Minneapolis May Be On Fire Again Tomorrow

In Washington, D.C., Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and their allies have made the calculus that the best hope they have of breaking the rising power of populism in the country is to brand all those who dare oppose them as white supremacists and insurrectionists. To that end they have ringed the Capitol with fences and razor wire and deployed what amounts to an occupying army of National Guardsmen, who spend their days starting blankly at an empty Mall and wondering when they will be allowed to go home and return to their lives.

Inside the government the hunt is on for “extremists,” The military recently declared a standdown in fact on other activities so that commanders could focus the needed attention on the growing danger in the ranks. Joe Biden himself has made known his concern about the threat from veterans and former law enforcement officers.

Meanwhile, in Minneapolis, epicenter of the outbreak of left wing violence that gutted our cities last year, the story is completely different. There, in the real world, the one that Pelosi, her allies and their lackeys in the corporate media cannot quite make go away, the city is bracing for a firestorm as the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin approaches.

A New York state senator is pushing to reform New York’s health curriculum to include teaching topics such as “gender identity” to children as young as 5 years old.

The GayBC‘s are In, Dr. Suess is Out

More than a decade ago, I purchased a number of gay-themed books for children, wanting to see what parents and educators were reading to their little ones. Recently, I became aware of The GayBC’s, by M. L. Webb, published in 2019 and as extreme as any children’s reader I have seen. Yet these days, books like this are celebrated while the beloved Dr. Seuss is deprecated.

Facebook Says Louis Farrakhan’s Anti-Vaccine Screed Violated Policy Against Misinformation, Twitter Stays Silent

Facebook removed a post on the Nation of Islam’s page that violated the company’s policies against misinformation about the coronavirus vaccine, the company said Friday.

The post linked to video of a Nation of Islam (NOI) event held last weekend in which the group’s leader, Louis Farrakhan, called the coronavirus vaccine a “vial of death.” Other speakers at the event falsely claimed that the vaccine has caused hundreds of deaths and thousands of serious injuries.

New federal election law would expand controversial state practices used in 2020 nationwide

If you think Congress and the federal government do an efficient, honest job at the various missions they are tasked with, then you will likely support the Democrats’ proposed Election Reform law that would transfer election authority from states to the federal government.

“For the People Act of 2021” has already been passed by the House and requires Senate approval to become law.

It would codify once and for all many of the state-level changes implemented without state legislative approval just ahead of the contested 2020 presidential election.

Supporters say it implements important reforms that lift barriers to voting. Opponents say it opens the door more widely to fraud and abuse.

Media Continues to Try to Tie President Trump to the Capitol Riot Because They Are Terrified of His Popularity

Ever since the riot in the US Capitol on January 6, the Democrats and their media fluffers have tried every way possible to tie President Trump and the GOP directly to the rioters. The idiot impeachment of President Trump AFTER he left office was predicated on the idea that remarks made by President Trump at a rally at the other end of the National Mall were the cause of the riot, never mind that Capitol security was breached 20 minutes before the inciting words were uttered. Not only have the Democrats and the media been harping on this, but so have the VichyCons at National Review, the Bulwark boys, the pedophile wing of the NeverTrump movement, and others.
